“This place was amazing. For the cost I kept wondering what was going to be wrong, but it really was fantastic. The accommodation we stayed at was so warm and cosy, the park was friendly and small ques, plus lots to do for little legs. We met a member of staff called Jonathan, a more mature fella and he was hilarious. Made our day. Really cant recommend this place enough. Land of lights was brilliant too. Can honestly say I wasn't expecting it to be so good.”

“I wasnt attending to do any events as I was waiting for my girlfriend as she had a job interview. I was allowed to sit inside whilst she had her interview to ensure I was comfortable and was offered water I did not catch the guys name but he was friendly and welcoming I would highly recommend as if the staff are as friendly and welcoming as him then it makes for a pleasant experience.”

“Fantastic swim school. The children quickly learn and build up their swimming skills. Teachers are lovely with the children and really look after them making them comfortable and confident in the water. Tania is very organised providing clear info each term about dates and watching sessions etc. Highly recommend.”

“Medium sized fun pool with tepid water. Allows diving in the deep end when safe and with a variety of water jets in the shallows with a small water slide it's a great place to spend a fun hour or 2. Cafe and pool viewing area are cosy with easy access to the toilets and ample safe for buggys, groups and boisterous small parties!!”

“Best gym in town. It has everything you need and staff are always on hand if you don’t know how some of the ‘machinery’ work. Reception ladies always smiling and happy to help and if you manage to trip over your 2 feet, lifeguards are there to give you an ice pack. Highly recommend!”

“I have been using the facilities at Woughton Leisure Centre more than 30 years starting with my sons learning to swim who are now adults with their children having done swimming lessons there this past summer. I learnt to swim there when I retired in 2021 and now hold a swim membership. As well as swimming I have played badminton weekly again over 35 years. Apart from the facilities the staff have without fail offered a highly professional and friendly service in particular Hannah, Mark, Dean and Niki. Twice I had brain fog and confused about which locker I thought was mine , Mark and Hannah came to my rescue and were very understanding when they assisted me on finding my correct. Woughton Leisure plays a very important role in keeping me healthy.”

“I have read a lot of negative comments about this place. Trust me, it’s not that bad. Gym is great, swimming area is good and personal coaching is amazing. The changing rooms were not that bad like other gyms. They are going to have a new renovation plan for this area in September so fingers crossed for the new setup.”

“My first visit there , so I've only seen the gym. My wellness app barcode , didn't work , but this appears to be an issue between the 2 companies. However the lady on reception was really patient and helpful and got me set up. The gym was very well equipped , not too busy and lots of natural light Pretty impressed”

“Not been for 30 years — used to camp here as teenagers to escape our parents. Booked last-minute with the kids based on location, price, and availability. Wasn’t expecting much, but it’s changed a lot — and for the better. We’d stayed at a Parkdean site in Skegness recently. This was cheaper, the caravan was bigger, and the whole experience felt less pushy — no upselling the second we arrived. Arrival was smooth. I downloaded the app (wasn’t thrilled at first), but it actually worked. No queue for keys — the gate recognised our number plate, the app sent a link straight to the caravan, and Google got us within 5 pitches. The caravans are clearly numbered, so the kids counted down to ours. App unlocked the door. Kids ran in to pick rooms while I unloaded the car — first time that’s ever happened on a short break. Caravan had 3 proper bedrooms, a main bathroom, and a separate toilet — really handy. Heating fired up instantly. We were a 7-minute walk from the pool (took 3 tries to find the shortcut). Pool was spotless, water warm, and there was a water slide we didn’t expect. Lifeguards were friendly and on it. Not crowded at all. Arcades were modern — kids loved the demolition ball game. Drinks were fair prices. Lucked into a free fireworks night (saw it on the app). Watched from the outdoor bar with burgers and pizza while the kids played on the park nearby. Felt relaxed and safe. Solid weekend. Didn’t expect to enjoy it this much.”

“I'm possibly biased as I was the Leader of the Council at the time the leisure centre was built. At the time there was a lot of debate whether it should be built or the facilities at the FE college expanded. 30 years on, as a unfit member of the public I think it was definitely the right decision. The facilities are excellent and good value. But what especially makes the centre a wonderful facility are the staff. From reception to pilates to the cleaners to everybody else, the staff are encouraging and lovely.”

“I popped in here whilst my car was still in the garage for late repair. I visited this centre on Monday 27/10/25 at around 4pm. The facility is good, and has free weight gym, swimming pool, sauna and steam. Very spacious leisure centre. What stood out the most were the kind receptionists. They helped me out with a day pass, gave me a tour of the facility and showed me where everything was. Thank you for making my visit accommodating.”

“Hello and what can I say I am more than happy joining the gym and what a lovely person Skye getting members in knowledgeable, enthusistic, helpful, as is all the team everyone really helpful and busy and active to boot no car parking fees for now, Once again when joining who ever Skye reports to you should keep her helpful and keen to please credit to your gym, Also reception team I found very respectful of course everyone has an off day but today was a top day!!! all round I will update on the facilities but they seem good enough!!! big thanks to Skye”
