“From the moment i arrived for my leaving due at The Plough Inn, it was clear i was in for something special. The ambiance struck the perfect balance between cozy and refined, setting the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. I started with the crispy whitebait, which was beautifully presented and cooked to perfection—light, crispy, and packed with flavor. It was an excellent start that left me excited for what was to come. For the main course, the Wagyu burger truly stole the show. Juicy, rich, and bursting beautiful flavours it was easily one of the best burgers I’ve had. The attention to detail in the plating matched the quality of the ingredients, making it as visually appealing as it was delicious. A special mention must go to Christine, She was not only professional but also warm and attentive, ensuring the night flowed seamlessly. Her thoughtful service added a personal touch that elevated the entire experience. In short, The Plough Inn delivered on every front—taste, presentation, service, and atmosphere. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit.”

“Really can't fault it easy to book and they really looked sfter our party of 11 people. Friendly staff in an atmosphetic old cinema. This is the 3rd time we have used it for a staff night out . Plenty of food and all dietry requirements covered. Great evening thank you guy's.”

“We celebrated our Grandad's 90th birthday here. We had Sunday roast which was absolutely delicious. Every single member of staff was lovely,chatty, accommodating and very efficient. They put a birthday banner on the table for us with a birthday card for our Grandad. We thought that was a lovely touch. We definitely recommend this lovely place and will be coming back. “Must be the best takeaway in Norfolk. We had lamb shank tonight which were lovely with good portions but the desert of summer pudding was delicious. We have had a few meals from The Pepperpot and always found them superb, lovely flavours and great packaging means meals are piping hot when you get home. Great service, thank you Pepperpot.”

“We were here for the weekend st a friends wedding anniversary. There were around 25 of us. The service was very good, as was the food, which was prepared well, very tasty and served hot. Room was a bit tired but very clean, and we only slept in it so it was perfect really.”

If it’s just for a drink or for some of the truly amazing food on offer you won’t be dissapointed. The ribs are best around no lie! Fresh crab salad was gorgeous too. “Popped in after seeing this place while on the train from Diss. Well laid out venue with inside and outside seating/bars. Picnic lager so refreshing and nice and mild strength-wise, ideal to quench the thirst on a hot day. Had a 'Norwich Niihau' pizza. For me, the best pizza I've ever had. Absolutely incredible. Looking forward to coming again soon!”

“We had an intimate wedding reception here just a couple of weeks ago (early June), and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Sebastian was the perfect host, taking care of everything, even though he was probably up against it, as all the planning was very loose on our side! Pretty much all the arrangements were done by email or video, with a couple of quick drop ins. The canapés were delightful and the food was fabulous. I forgot to take pictures after the canapés because it was all so delicious we all got stuck in!! The service was excellent, we had everything that was wanted to make this the most perfect wedding. “Lovely gem of a restaurant. We stopped at The Boars by chance while looking for somewhere to eat. We arrived late on Saturday afternoon so there was barely anyone. The food we ordered was very nicely presented and tasted delicious. I would highly recommend it.”
