“Had lunch with a great view.. food was fast, hot and tasty. Hats off to the manager Kay who served us, she made sure we didn't go without anything and checked back regularly. Great service!”
“I attended a "Masterclass for mixology (Cocktail Crafting)" and was taught by Tom. The lesson was around 2 hours and within that duration we made about 15 drinks, played games and laughed lots! Tom made the lesson relaxed and entertaining. The bar/restaurant itself was quirky and contemporary. As expected, as it was a Sunday, it was quiet and perfect for our class- definitely want to return on a day where there is more atmosphere within the bar! We ordered food after our class and was satisfied with the quality and pleasantly surprised with the range of meals, sides and of course drinks. I highly reccomend the class and bar/restaurant to anyone passing by and/or looking for a new place to try! Many thanks to Tom and the waiters, who were all friendly, approachable and that made an evening of birthday celebrations memorable.”
“I stayed at the Norwich Central Travelodge due to its location, it is convenient for public transport just one minute from the bus station. The hotel definitely need a make over but the staff are very kind and polite. Zuzanna in the Bar on breakfast and the Hotel Manager Nalend is very polite and professional. Nice to see her checking the building early the morning and greeting customer. Very well managed.”
“The amazing staff are what makes this hotel special, always welcoming and ready to greet you with a smile. Big Shout out to Cat & Craig, on reception and Rose, Jack and Gary behind the bar and in the restaurant whom I see throughout my stay and are always friendly & helpful. Also have to mention the great cleaning staff. I stay here for 2 weeks every month and every time is an enjoyable stay.”
“Absolutely love the Sure Start Centre. Helpful and very friendly staff which always take there time if you need them. They offer amazing groups and playsessions which my Kids couldn't be without. Thank you!”
“Stayed here for the weekend with my sister and dog. Extremely friendly staff, very nice rooms. I previousoy stayed in other chain round the corner but will now book Travelodge again as my experience was very pleasant. It's great loaction too!”
“Not a bad travel lodge. Bit out dated and basic but Comfy bed and good service. Located at the services with a shell, MC Donalds, burger king and subway on the doorstep.”
“Julie, Maria and Ross are exceptional members of staff! They had a very complex return/exchange to deal with due to Cambridge stores error! I’m that happy with their service I actually remembered their names off the top of my head nearly a week later! I definitely wouldn’t of purchase anything else from here if it wasn’t for these guys in norwich riverside. Their knowledge and customer service skills are excellent! Thank you guys.”
“Lovely 1970s decor hotel offering excellent service and cooked breakfast at 1970s prices. (Near enough). Large car park too.”
“David is absolutely incredible at managing to captivate and entertain a room full of children (and adults!!) an amazing show and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Whilst we are unable to publicly post the photos of the night (school PTA disco) it all looked and sounded fantastic too. Well done David you do a super job as an entertainer!”
“Brilliant escape rooms! I've done a couple here now and they have been really good every time! Probably the best escape room company in norwich and really well priced! 11/10”
“From the moment we walked into La Crème and were greeted by Lucy we relaxed and knew we were in good hands. She instantly put a nervous bride at ease and the laughter between the pair of them as dresses were tried on began a great rapport. The attention to detail after ‘her ladyship’ was chosen and Lucy’s intuitive understanding of whether the bride to be was comfortable was outstanding. We particularly appreciated the way that part of the brides mothers wedding dress (old) and ‘something blue’ was incorporated into the perfect wedding dress was another example of the personal care taken by Lucy and her seamstress. Looking at photos after the wedding the bride burst into floods of tears. We initially thought tears of sadness as her grandfather died two days after the wedding. Instead it was tears of happiness as she never felt she would look so pretty. As mother of bride, and priest who married Rachel and Farshad I might have been biased. Not only was she pretty but she was beautiful. Thank you Lucy and all at La Crème.”
“Brilliant bookshop. Staff are so attentive and knowledgeable. Excellent range of books and beautiful artwork. Magical place for kids of all ages.”
“As a UK wedding planner based in Norwich, I have been lucky enough to work with Epic Event Hire countless times over the last 13 years! Each time I have worked with the team, myself and my clients have received fantastic service! They're reliable and always offer great advice and guidance when my clients have wanted a bespoke design, whether that be a brand new draping design or an installation of glitter balls. Kerry, Dan and the team are always more than willing to listen, take on our thoughts and work with us to create something gorgeous! I highly recommend Epic Event Hire as a professional, leading prop hire and draping company in Norfolk and I'm really looking forward to continuing to work with them throughout 2026 and beyond!”
“We had Ed at our wedding on Saturday, wow he was amazing!! From start to finish, we had so many compliments on having him at our special day. He was so hilarious! With many a how did he do that moments, our guests loved him! Without a seconds thought we would recommend him! If we have another big event we wouldn’t think twice about booking him!! Thankyou Ed!!”
“We booked a private session for two girls we work at our alternate provision. The instructor Rebecca was brilliant and the girls absolutely loved it thank you!”
“A Truly Magical Experience – Thank You, Nick! From Rob & Emma We had the absolute pleasure of having Nick Twist as part of our wedding day, and we honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, he brought an incredible energy, charm, and sense of wonder that truly made our special day unforgettable. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about him! Both adults and children were utterly captivated – everywhere we looked, there were smiles, laughter, and looks of pure amazement. It was heartwarming to see everyone so engaged and entertained, and it added such a unique and magical element to the day. Nick has a way of connecting with people that’s just fantastic – from his mind-blowing magic to the incredible balloon sculptures, there was something for everyone to enjoy. For us as a couple, it was especially lovely to stand back and watch our loved ones so delighted. It added an extra layer of joy to the day and created memories we’ll treasure forever. The booking process was also super smooth – Nick was a pleasure to deal with from the get-go. Friendly, responsive, and professional, he made everything easy and stress-free. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, Nick finished off with a small video from the day that captured all those magical moments perfectly. It was the cherry on top of a truly enchanting experience. We would highly recommend Nick Twist to any wedding couple looking to add something extra special to their day. He doesn’t just entertain – he creates magic that your guests will talk about long after the party ends. Thank you again, Nick – you were a true highlight of our day! Rob & Emma”
“I booked a Motor Sport Vision evening track experience for the first time and what a Fantastic Evening. My previous track adventures have always been full days but I actually really enjoyed this format. We had two groups of riders (20 min sessions) on track one after the other instead of three. A faster turnaround and more time on the track. There is also a good restaurant and a fuel pump on site. I’ve just purchased a Ducati Panigale V4s so this was a fantastic place to legally stretch its legs. My good friend came alone with his bike and we had a fabulous time. I would highly recommend MSV track experiences for cars and bikes as it was a professional well organised event. I’ve you’ve not ridden or driven on track before I recommend you give it a try because it’s a safe environment and you will not be dissatisfied.”
“Well worth a visit if you are staying in Lowestoft or nearby. Bird watchers and lovers of nature will enjoy this. Visitor centre is good. Lots of hides about to watch nature. Take binoculars.”
“Such a lovely place, the weather was beautiful today which of course makes everything look better but the birds, the walk, the boats all looked splendid. Age is not a barrier, bring the family, enjoy the woodland and quiet beauty..”
“We did The Haunted escape room as a group of 5 and loved it! Staff were fantastic and our whole group had so much fun. We will definately be back to try another one soon.”
“I usually go to rock concerts. They invite bands from all over Britain. I even attended an African dance show with Massai dancers. Nice atmosphere in this little theatre. Everything well organised, although, apparently, some of the personnel volunteer. Once you show your ticket, somebody will guide to your seat, which makes you feel very important . There's a nice bar inside and you can have a drink before the performance or during the break(interval). Reasonable prices. I do believe Fisher Theatre is one of the finest places in this little town-Bungay.”
“I attended a wellbeing event today at the Warren Care home. It’s my second event . Such lovely staff , they’re friendly and caring and the home has a lovely feel. Beautiful gardens . The activities team are fantastic. Will definitely return to future events and recommend .”
“It can be a bit intimidating going to try out guitars in a public place. Especially if you’re not very good! Dan was super helpful and I’m delighted with the Taylor mini. He also helped me with my amp -only needed a new lead! And then kindly helped me get the lot back to the car. The price was less than a number of internet stores and nothing beats trying out instruments-I thought I wanted something different until I tried it. We must support our local shops. No hardship though when there are as good as Cookes”
“What a gem! I just love the vibe of this quirky little independent cafe in Tombland. Authentic coffee, homemade cakes and a nice view from the window seats to watch the city go by.”
“This has everything a dog needs and more!! Took my boys for a long walk (hour around the fields). Well, sign posted and easy to follow. There is also a 20-minute walk. Enclosed fields for dogs to go off lead. You can hire a smaller enclosed field for your dogs to train recall or play with dogs safely. There is a swimming pool for dogs. An agility course. Grooming salon. Alpacas on site. Camp site. Finally, a perfect dog friendly cafe. They have a dog menu such as: roast dinner, pup cake, burgers, sausages, milk, and pawsecco. Then, a wide range of human meals. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are always friendly. My dogs bark, but I never feel embarrassed.”
