“Brilliant from start to finish, kindly accommodated me without a booking. Poppadom w/pickle was an excellent serving size/selection. Butter Chicken was one of the best I’ve had in the UK, chicken melted under a knife which made eating the surprisingly large pieces of chicken an easy task. Even the Naan was perfectly cooked and not all greasy. First true 5 star review I can give unshaken.”

“I came here as part of a large group on New Year’s Eve. The lad who took care of us, Ewan, (apologies if I’ve misspelled that) really brought his A-game. He clearly knew his menu and his wines and was very helpful with recommendations. His banter was on point as well. Food was beautiful, I had sea bream which was meaty and full of flavour. My friends were a bit more adventurous with octopus and other seafood which they all seemed to enjoy very much. The menu also had options to cater for those of us that aren’t quite so keen on seafood although my top choice, which was beef ragu, was out of stock at the time. Otherwise, great food, great service, great time and would happily come back again in the future!”

“Great-tasting authentic pizza, freshly made to order, from scratch. Enzo himself is a real character and a good host. Points to note: 1) CASH ONLY, visit a cash point before the meal 2) NO TAKEAWAY - Enzo does not put his pizza in a box! 3) IT'S POPULAR BUT whilst it's definitely best to book, you might be able to sneak in after 8pm even without a reservation.”

“Was happily greeted by a friendly older lady, and nothing was too much trouble! Victoria sponge was to die for, and coffee lovely and warm! All the staff seemed welcoming and pleasant. Lovely atmosphere, although saddened to see how rude 3 local ladies were to the servers, who in all honesty did all they could to rectify a mistake. Sadly some feel very entitled, but did not hamper my experience, and will definitely be back!”

“Another amazing pub in Norwich! The atmosphere was amazing, lots of good music, they also have a wonderful selection of drinks for all ages. They have done an amazing collaboration with XO Kitchens. Their food is Asian fusion, with a wide array of flavours and dishes. Today we had: "Aged beef and bone marrow and flatbread with sauce", "Korean Fried Chicken, Asian Mayo with crispy noodles", "Beer Braised Beef, Miso - Sweetcorn Puree with Togara'shi fries", "Lager, Soy and Mackerel Fillet, Katsu Ketchup with Pickled ginger and wakame" All of these were perfectly presentated, with layer on layer of sweet, spicy, or sharp flavours. AMAZING, can't fault it”

“We were looking for somewhere and hadn't booked. Found this on the map. What a winner. I have a dairy allergy and they took it so seriously. They knew the menu inside and out. The location is stunning and would be lovely on a summer day. The food was enormous. Plentiful. Six in our group. 2 x sausage and mash. The only small complaint was the veg being a little too under cooked 1 x double house burger - handmade patty and my son loved it. 1 x kids chicken nuggets. I will say these looked lovely but for my fussy eater too much batter 1 x ricotta stuffed chicken breast. Again looked amazing 1 x vegan halloumi burger 1 x side of onion rings. All bar one couldnt finish the food. We did ask for the desert menu to be nosey but the staff forgot to bring. So we took it as a sign that was enough for us. Full belly's and happy kids. Its worth a visit”

“Been here several times over two years holidays and it's been consistently excellent service and delicious food. We'll worth a visit, very family friendly including dog friendly. Has a small amusements area and play park which keeps the children of all ages entertained. Highly recommend. Great prices and friendly welcome too”

“Michelin star pie!! Tuesday special! Last tuesday the city was all jammed up and I had to sort of abandon my car in the car park of the Black Horse. Patrons only, obviously and in desperate need of both a bit of dinner and a bit of natural respite, I stopped in. I was in a bit of a flap, rush hour traffic has a way of really aggravating me, and I was tired and hungry (hangry they call it) and the gigantic barman was incredibly patient and recommended a special that would go on to change my life. Pie & a pint. PIE and A PINT Lets start by saying that the atmosphere of the Black Horse could be described as 'a warm hubub' even at about half five of a Tuesday evening and there were quite a few tables taken already with people enjoying their dinner. Now, you may think that pie and a pint is pretty standard pub fayre, and you'd be right, it's probably one of the most familiar dishes on menus across Britain ad, as someone who spent decades of his life travelling with work, I have sampled more than my fair share (my PR will attest to this). So when the pie arrived, all golden pastry, steamy mash and silky liquor-like gravy, I KNEW I was in for something special. This, folks, is the best ever pub pie I've ever had, ever. And it's not even close. Now that may sound like a bold statement, so here's another. The beef and Stilton pie with its leeks, mash and incredible gravy could actually be the foundation of world peace. It meta in the mouth in such a way that you can't help but smile from ear to ear. It's like a song of comfort food at your favourite festival, it's a blanket and a warm bed listening to the raindrops drum against the window. It's simply sensational and, all words and comparisons aside, there is nothing that can truly attest to how good this pie is. I waited all week to post about it because you, dear reader, could well be making plans for tomorrow and please believe me when I say that if those plans are for a pie and a pint at the Black Horse on Earlham road in Norwich, then your mouth will love you for the rest of your life.”

“Found this place by accident on our travels and decided to go for dinner on the way back and so glad we did! The carvery was delicious, everything was spotless and the staff were so friendly, helpful and efficient they really made dinner with two small tired children easy! Desserts were also amazing we had the chocolate brownie and ice cream and the cherry Bakewell. Definitely worth a visit!”

“Today was our first visit to Roti Restaurant as a group of four. The decoration was beautiful. Although the food took some time to arrive, we were not bothered at all because one big muscular waiter—possibly the manager—impressed us in an incredible way. He was very quick, humorous, and engaging with all the customers. Truly a hidden gem! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was also very pleasant. “Myself and my partner went to Cremer's Meadow Nature Reserve then wanted a bite to eat and having googled where to eat we decided to come here. We both had a Steak bake which were delicious once warmed along with a lovely cup of Cappuccino. The restaurant is upstairs and has plenty of room. It also has a big balcony with views of the boatyard which doubles as a smoking area, plenty of chairs and tables and a nice garden for the warmer months, again dog friendly with a little pond. There is also a car park and toilets, you can also take food away. This place only opened last year!.”

“It was our first visit to the Black Swan yesterday for Sunday dinner. We ordered the Sunday roast and it was delicious! Plenty of food and the cauliflower cheese was the best I have ever had.
