“The Belle Vue is back! Been waiting for the roasts to return! Not disappointed ! It was delicious . Proper crispy roast potatoes, quality gravy, vegetables. My lamb was so tasty, with homemade mint sauce and my son had Pork with extra crackling! We couldn’t fault a thing! Thoroughly recommend to anybody will definitely be going back!”

“Stopped by to watch the football, seems like a popular pub. Food coming past smelt and looked great but we didn't eat. Loads of screens around the pub, even a few outside which we did hope to watch but sadly they didn't have audio outside. Good selection of drinks on tap and bar staff were friendly.”

“Excellent Chinese takeaway with a good range of dishes always cooked very well, and super fast service. We have been using them for the past two years and never been disappointed. They do say you can dine in but they have a couple of tables and zero ambience so would only consider as a takeaway but for that they are very good. Also easy parking behind the takeaway for pick ups.”

“This is a locals pub, there are no bells or whistles, it's what it is and it does it well. I go there mainly to watch football. Prices are a little lower than average, they really don't do food, apart from the odd roll and packet based snacks. But sometimes you don't need a place providing gastro pub cuisine or the latest cocktails. This is a pub, not a bar, with great staff and atmosphere. Nuff said.”

“We had our wedding meal here and it was perfect. We hired the tank room and the locker room with the bar upstairs. Our guests ordered from the normal menu- everyone loved their food and all meals came hot which was great when cooking for just over 30 people. They were great accommodating different dietary requirements. Laura was fantastic and made sure everything went smoothly. The table was laid out beautifully and everyone had a great time. Could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding as it was perfect. Would recommend to anyone thinking of booking an event here.”

“Last night our party of nine enjoyed the most wonderful evening at Trattoria Rustica on Princes Street, one of our long‑time favourite restaurants in Norwich. We’ve visited many times, but this visit truly stood out. We chose the Christmas festive menu and every dish was exceptional — from the mussels to the cannelloni, the tiramisu, and even the vegan pancakes, which were a delightful surprise. We ended the evening with a round of limoncello, the perfect finishing touch to a beautiful meal. The Ouchai family and their team are always so lovely and attentive. Their hospitality creates such a warm and cosy atmosphere that you instantly feel welcomed and relaxed. “Very kind people, we ordered a pizza and a chicken kebab and all of the food was freshly made and came quickly. Pricing is low compared to other takeaways dispite higher quality food. I highly recommend.”

“First chance at trying Shish Go since it opened on December 28th, and it didn't disappoint. Meats were very flavoursome and tender served with rice, salad and bread. 35 minute wait for a collection reasonable so hopefully won't extend to much once word has got out. Know now for next time to ask for extra pot of chili sauce - was very good but sharing one pot between 3 meals didn't go far. Friendly staff and very fresh decor - I look forward to coming back.”

“Place seems lovely. Went there at 7.30 pm, it had been busy and there was only gammon for the carvery. We were offered chicken breasts also and sausage though so happy with that. Pretty good prices. View of the River is pretty. Would definitely go back just earlier for the carvery.”
