“Brilliant pool owners are lovely and friendly. Always lovely and warm and clean.”
“We had the most wonderful stay from start to finish at Moat Island. Georgia and Chris’ communication right from booking, to leaving, was outstanding. They met us upon arrival, and was always responsive and helpful. The hut was so special. It was so well equipped, and finished beautifully. You are surrounded my woodland, walks and river. The beaches only a 25+ minute drive. The communal toilet and shower blocks were always kept clean. The swimming pond was an amazing added bonus! We enjoyed our hot tub and wood burner in the evening after having a swim and some dinner. Thank you so much for having us, we can’t wait to return and tell our friends all about this hidden gem! “We've been coming to Norfolk for 15 years and only have just been given a recommendation to come here. But I'm so glad we have. What beautiful gardens, built up over 50 years with obvious love and in-depth knowledge of horticulture from the owners. There is so much to see. Just when you think you've seen everything, you find another nook or cranny bursting with colour and fragrance. There are lots of seated areas, either to sit and rest or just take in the breathtaking surroundings. The entrance and exit are adjacent to the tea room, so the choice is there is to either fuel up before your walk round or relax afterwards. We shared a pot of tea with the apple crumble cake, which has to go down as one of the best cakes I've had at any tea room. It is very reasonably priced and a must for any keen gardeners visiting the area. You can even purchase plants from their shop before you leave.”
“Amazing area to visit, tones of places to enjoy the pool, they have the cyclone water ride that we went on twice and the rapids which are epic. There is a nice poolside bar and a starbucks in a more tucked away quiet area to sit down and relax. They have lots of chairs to sit on at the edge, too, if swimming isn't for you. The showers are not the best. Those push button ones that go off all the time, but you get free shower gel, which is good. You also have to go through the changing rooms to get in and out of the place, no exit if you don't go through them which is very annoying. It's very hot and humid in the pool area.”
“A gem of a reserve, lots of nice trails and boardwalks, good for spotting curious dragonflies abd butterflies, Marsh Harriers seen regularly. There is also a toilet at the entrance.”
“Absolutely amazing experience. Our dog has always been scared of water but 5 minutes into the session, she was swimming! Excellent support for her to swim with no force used, just encouragement. We'll definitely be going again. Thank you!”
“Great place to take the little ones. You'll need a full day to take it all in but you won't regret it! Tons to see & do plus the kids get the chance to learn more about wildlife and conservation.”
“Simply wonderful! Whether you’re exploring by boat or enjoying a hike, the Broads National Park is breath-taking. The scenery is peaceful yet full of life, and there’s something for everyone to enjoy. If you haven’t been, then I'd highly recommend you visit; because it’s an unforgettable experience.”
“Such amazing accommodation, better than the pictures. Hot tub and garden area were bigger than expected, we hired a boat and we would highly recommend this, it was the best day out we've had in a while!! Most of all, Claire who works there is amazing, she went above and beyone to make our time there a good one, definitely an asset to the company!!”
“Nice end to the busy weekend. Lovely stroll round the lake. Great place to take the dogs for a long walk somewhere new for them. Paths are great under foot and all litter free. There are plenty of dog poo bins so no need to leave it. Plenty of signage dotted around all with the what three words location, so if you do get into any trouble, the services will find you with ease. Paid parking but not a great amount.”
“A nice area of Yarmouth to spend time in. The area has been rejuvenated and looks good now. Peaceful and well tended with near zero litter, some nice planting and lake area.”
“A wonderful activity centre and a fabulous experience for the younger generation awaits. The activity staff are quietly professional, friendly and engaging for the younger audience, and help to create fun memorable experiences. The main building is modern and clean with excellent resources. Large well designed areas for either meal or seated activities and a large high ceiling function or activity room with a large wall screen. The kitchen and catering facilities are first class. Highly recommended for single day or stay over events.”
“A fantastic glamping experience. We booking Sitting Sam for four nights for a midweek break and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The site is tranquil and peaceful with 7 other units also sharing the same areas. Our tipi came fully equipped with a double bed, dresser and bedside tables, lamp and power points. There was also a lovely little log burner for the colder nights however it was not needed in the first week of June ☀️ the decking for the Tipi had a wonderful wood fired hot tub, picnic bench and two comfortable wooden outdoor rocking chairs. A small kitchenette was to the back which was furnished with all the essentials, crockery and cutlery, a gas hob, grill and oven and running hot/cold water for washing up. A small fridge with icebox was perfect for keeping our drinks cold. Adjacent to the kitchen was a toilet and shower room with running hot/cold water. All towels were provided. We opted for a charcoal BBQ with all the charcoal and fire lights provided, and we enjoyed cooking our evening dinners atop hot coals. The wood fired hot tub took a couple of hours to heat up and was delightful for relaxing into the late evening with a glass of wine of Gin & Tonic. The site was very close to local facilities with two supermarkets easily reached in 10-minutes. Everyone we came across was friendly and helpful and huge thanks to Colleen for her prestay courtesy call and friendly helpful service throughout our stay. We loved our time at Swallow Park and will be back soon.”
“Absolutely brilliant. So much fun for the children.”
“Love coming here for a late evening swim. Really helps with the old fitness and mental wellbeing. Be lost without it.”
“Love this place..small amount of free parking and the lido has a main pool and a toddler pool. They have different swim sessions on so check the timetable. They have small changing areas and also toilets, server snacks and drinks. There are sun loungers with umbrellas and both a first come first served but free. Really lovely staff too. Really worth a visit”
“What a fantastic place. I was concerned by the ticket price but it was worth every penny. We got there for opening and it was busy but we went on everything and only had to queue for the boat ride and the bigger zip wire but everything else was easily accessible. The staff were all friendly and helpful and we had a fantastic day. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a fun packed day out.”
“Amazing venue for our pop up choir And for children walking the dog for get food”
“The swimming paradise is breathtaking. It is truly stunning. However, with all the money that Center Parcs make, they should add more to it so that the queues in it for the rides get smaller. Overall, it is a very good swimming experience.”
“Fantastic facilities for the whole family. The park is extremely immaculate with plenty of space for football, rugby and frisbee. There is also an outdoor gym, slide and climbing frame equipment for kids of all ages.”
“Superb facility. As an older person I was quite intimidated by “going to the gym” but everybody is super lovely and the staff are amazing and friendly. I do classes and roller skate and also use the gym and go swimming at wymondham. Really happy with my experience here and would absolutely recommend.”
“I Stayed here for a model railway exhibition in Dereham and it was a lovely hotel I arrived quite late and was greeted with the lovely owner who then made us some food which was AMAZING. He gave us some food for breakfast in the morning as we were going to miss it. He then showed us to our amazing room which was exceptionally clean and our beds were very comfy. Overall This is a amazing hotel and should have 5 stars”
“It's pet friendly and one of my favourite places in Norwich. I find it calming with all the wildlife and birds chirping.”
“This amazing place is about 20 minutes away from Norwich, and I never knew it existed. It has quickly become one of my favourite places to walk. We saw the wild ponies and plenty of deers, which was lovely to see. The pink Heather was also an added treat! Looked absolutely stunning.”
“What a way to relax after a walk through the green land leading down to the river. A nice glass of juice from the Thorpe ferry Cafe and a relaxing one hour stare at the natural sight.”
“Had lovely afternoon canoeing, managed to dodge the rain. Staff very helpful”
“Worth the visit and we'll worth the money. We arrived first thing on a Sunday and pretty much had the place to ourselves until lunchtime when people started trickling in. Our 2 year old managed to go on every ride except for 1. It's a great walk around with plenty of area to sit and chill and even have a picnic area. The outdoor play was a bit extreme for our 2 year old but they have a great indoor play for smaller children. Donuts and ice cream were smashing and fairly priced. We will definitely be visiting again with our half price entry voucher we received on the day for another great day.”
“We just got home from ROARR and I have to say we thought it was excellent! For a warm sunny day in August, we were pleasantly surprised that we didn’t have to queue for anything! There is so much to do, our kids loved it (4 and 8yrs). Best part was the splash park! Will definitely be back!”
