“Absolutely outstanding carvery, every meat for a Sunday roast available including lamb, A choice of medium beef or well done beef, Pork and great crackling, gammon, turkey! All veg fresh, banging roasties and creamy mash! Not forgetting the crispy stuffing balls and immense Yorkshire puddings....infact, the best yorkies I've ever had!! Will definitely be returning!”

“We came here late evening as part of my birthday We were greeted very quickly and given a nice table Drinks were offered straight away but we were given plenty of time to browse the menu and order food (even though I knew straight away what I was having!) “We stopped for a weekday lunch and have to say we had a great experience. The venue is cosy and welcoming and nicely decorated. The food was excellent and well presented, and service was top-notch Dogs are welcome inside, which is an added bonus. A good selection of beers and ales, including independent brewers.”

“I drank in this pub 50 years ago when I was at Trent College.spent many happy hours in there. In those far off days the landlord was a jovial guy called Jack. Called in there last year before lockdown,much smarter now and far more choice still a great pub.in those days mild and blackcurrant 11d old money! Happy days and better than learning at school.”

“Came here for my birthday with family and we were blown by the quality of food. The chef kindly modified one of our dishes to make our experience that much more enjoyable. The interior and menu is on-brand being colourful and fun. We cannot wait to come back and try the rest of the menu. “Hooters isn't what I expected, in a good way. The food is absolutely outstanding! The best American food in Nottingham and the chicken is to die for. Far from being a seedy place where creepy blokes leer at vulnerable women, I've found Hooters to be quite the opposite. Young families sit around tables, sharing food together and it's a decent casual date location, with plenty of couples eating together. The menu is really good. It's lots of the same stuff in different combos, but this has two great benefits. First of all, with less ingredients you generally get better quality food and that's true here. Secondly, it's made a lot quicker than it otherwise would be as the chefs have more experience with each item than they would at a restaurant with many different items. I recommend the Cajun wings and the Parmesan garlic shrimp, with a side of tots. The coleslaw is a nice side to add. Beer options is probably the worst part of the menu. It's boring and really misses Blue Moon, with nothing similar since they removed it from the menu. I love it, I'll be going again with my fiance, or my work mates, or before the hockey. It's so good I've made it my standard go to food option in the city. Check it out.”

“I live in Clifton I used to go to one in it went downhill so fast so I went back there the food is amazing quote well not fast service and I ate it all and the staff are lovely it takes a long time to get a nice chip shop I used to travel to Kirkby-in-Ashfield just so now it's save me a few well done keep the good work up although it's not very cheap but you only pay for what you get”

“Had a spot of light lunch and a few drinks (non alcoholic) whilst waiting for my car to be serviced at the nearby Volkswagen garage. It's set on the main road but has a lovely outdoor area as well as plenty of space inside. Was pleasantly surprised with how busy it was on a Monday lunchtime! The staff are absolutely lovely and very polite / attentive. Really clean environment - including the toilets which were spotless. The food was really fresh, incredibly tasty and good value. It's a greene king so you know that the drinks are going to be cheap but they were still nice. Overall I was really satisfied with the experience and I look forward to coming back and trying some more of the menu.”

“Recommend the lemon chicken, the nicest I have ever eaten, all cooked fresh, with chips or rice. Also the chicken balls, proper chunks of chicken in a really nice light and crispy batter. I had a set three course menu and the portions were generous. It also has a license for drinks.”

“A beautiful picturesque place to go for a meal or just a general drink. Professional service, ample parking etc... Its the place to go after lockdown!! Make an effort to drive down Mansfield road as this place is a must see. All customers are respectful hence no drunkenness to contend with. Also they cater for weddings which I would expect provides same level of service.”
