“Really easy to order school cardigans and bag online. Got an email to collect them quicker than I imagined. Great service . Highly recommend.”
“Very nicely set out store, good selection of training gear at competitive prices and there are some great bargains to be had so keep popping in to find them.”
“I needed to exchange a pair of Ugg shoes, that I bought online for a different size and colour the staff were really nice and welcoming, the exchange was perfect with no issues at all. I would recommend this store for the service :)”
“Great range of clothes, 1st time visiting and will be back again!”
“Argos is great, helpful staff and quick service. The EE store is exceptional - would always recommend going into store to speak with the team there for any issues and they always get you great deals on phones. They're also super honest and let you know how much data you are actually likely to need rather than always upselling to maximum contracts. Store manager is very friendly - even when busy and he's juggling three different customers at once he's on it. Cannot recommend enough.”
“A really happy, fun shop where the staff seem to enjoy volunteering. We visit on a Sunday and it’s always welcoming and fun!”
“Lovely shop, have a nice selection of jelly cats and different little bits and bobs, the customer service is brilliant, definitely would recommend to all ages”
“Great deals so will keep shopping here. Staff are friendly and always helpful. Went to shop on Saturday 15th Feb, 2:30pm,it was closed. When will the shop open again?”
“Thank you to the lady who served us this afternoon called AJ aka Amina :-) She provided friendly, helpful, outstanding 5 star service. We needed help with daughter's trainers for PE at school and AJ went over and above explaining the best type. Also needed assistance with 2 other items which she helped with, as well as my requiring advice for my elderly dad's footwear. It's rare to find exceptional customer service in stores these days. It was a pleasure to shop there today. Thankyou AJ!”
“Good range of clothes at decent prices”
“Perfect for anyone who wants to buy a suit last minute for a wedding the next following day. Shout out to amanda and carol for being so helpful. Its too bad 5 stars is the maximum rating because I would give them much more.”
“Shop here all the time because they give good, charity shop price so people can afford it, competitive to Primark prices. No need to go to Primark. Happy with this charity shop.”
“I reached out to this store for advice / information on sizing for a specific brand of walking shoe . The main supplier responded to my email enquiry after 3 weeks . But Jade at Nevisport went above and beyond to find out sizing information in a very timely manner. Many thanks for her helpfulness, prompt updates and research in order to provide me with much needed pre-purchase information.”
“Just a heads up for Sarah the duty manager today for sorting out a complicated problem, many thanks once again.”
“Outstanding staff and security guard today 23/10/25 at 3pm! I have a serious concussion from Sunday gone (they thought I'd fractured my skull, serious) but I really needed washing stuff for the washing machine and I didn't have anyone to go for me as I'm newish to the area. I felt fine to drive and Asda is literally 5 minutes or less drive away. I was fine driving and fine when I parked up. When I got out of the car I felt really really dizzy but thought I'd just got up fast. I grabbed a trolley to lean on and as I hit the doors I realised this wasn't just vertigo and I needed to sit down before I passed out. I told the security guard who got me a chair instantly and called for first aid trained staff to come and help. The lovely staff asked me if I've eaten to which I said I'd actually forgotten to eat again today and asked me what sandwiches I eat and got me a bottle of water. I asked how much I owe and they said nothing. I explained I didn't want to steal (I'm neurodivergent and they were so kind with this too) and they informed me it's not stealing if they give it to me and then the security and the two staff members stayed with me for up to an hour (one had to leave near the hour mark but the other two were able to stay) one had actually clocked out at 3pm and stayed all the way til I was okay to get up. They even grabbed the two items for my washing machine for me and then paid with my phone and walked me to my car and had a chat at the car to make sure I was okay. It was such a lovely experience and made me feel so safe and included, especially with my conditions I'm often frowned upon, by people. I honestly couldn't ask for better staff members here and it's made me feel so at home because I had this bond with my old superstore Asda where I used to live 200 miles away for four years and was so sad and anxious to leave because it was always a safe space for me with my bad anxiety. But this Asda has proved that yet again, they hire some amazing staff members. (As everywhere you can't say that EVERYONE is amazing and I can't say I haven't had a bad experience over my assistance dog with a higher staff member a month ago, but it's nothing I've not had and sorted out before with their higher ups. This doesn't stop me using this Asda or commending those who deserve it.) Unfortunately I don't have the names of the staff but they see me regularly and know me and my lad but I wish there was a way to get them all a pay rise or something sorted from their head office for their help, understanding and their compassion while they waited and listened to me talk for an hour about stuff. If anyone knows how, please can you let me know (I know Asda employees can reply so maybe that way?)”
“Fantastic service on December 29th. It was extremely busy, and a young man (Jordan) was working so hard. His customer service was fantastic, even though he was getting grief from customers. He seemed to be the only person around (I think it may have been break or lunchtime). He was always polite and kept his cool. I had to mention to the manager how excellent his customer service was. If they had more like him, that shop would run smoothly. Keep up your good work, Jordan. (I don't know him; I asked his name to let the manager know how well he was doing.)”
“Extremely helpful staff at Asda Opticians. I suffer with migraines associated with visual aura. They helped me on the spot and went out of the way to carry out an eye examination. This gave me so much relief and peace of mind that my eye health is fine and the visual aura is due to migraine and not due to any eye abnormality. They were super helpful and supportive. Wishing them all a happy Xmas and a happy new year.”
“Good service . Very Patient Young man helped us excellent service. Visited 27th Feb 2024”
“Staff are always available to help, recently returned a product and the staff member helping couldn't have been more helpful”
“Wanted to go out of my way to leave a good review for Moss Bros Nottingham and particularly Joel. I have a wedding today and realised last night that the suit I was going to wear was stained. I got into the moss bros store at about 9:30am was greeted by Joel almost immediately. After telling him my budget I was shown to the suits in my price range that were also suitable for a wedding. Without measuring me, through clear experience he was able to tell me what size I would be, as well as what fit would be best for my frame. Tried on the suit, purchased the suit, was in and out in 15 minutes. Both speedy and good service, turned what was looking like a very stressful morning into one that was slightly easier. Thank you for making my day a bit easier Joel and Moss bros Nottingham.”
“Lots of great flip flops at very reasonable price. Had lots of compliments”
“Aaran the security guard is just amazing. We need a specific hoodie for our son to wear to school the next day for world mental health day and we called the store at 9pm since we live 1.5 hours away and explained the situation to him. He went out of his way to check with his collegues and found the last one in stock for us aside which we then collected. He’s a true asset to Asda.”
“Bought some trousers fits lovely they have for all size and shapes”
“My mum and I shopped here today and had great customer service with Melanie. Big thank you for being so lovely and professional. Credit to Zara! See you soon ☺️”
“Back to school at Asda never fails to dissapoint. They are always very well stocked and you can find whatever you want. Everything is usually high quality, and will last quite long. The sizes go from starting primary, to leaving secondary, and shoes tend to be for the younger ones. They have reasonable priced garments and accessories for all sizes, slim - plus sizes.”
