“Omelette was great and tea as well. Good place to have your brekky”
“Came here on Sunday for my friends birthday celebration. Absolutely amazing, Food was delicious and so much of it, didn't feel rushed at all. They close at 2 but as we'd not eaten everything they let us stay until we were ready to leave. Friendly and helpful from start to finish, will definitely be back for another afternoon tea. Thank you x”
“Excellent fast service, and a lovely cooked English breakfast at a great price.”
“Lovely cafe, lovely atmosphere, clean and all staff we're really friendly. The food and drinks we're delicious and we would definitely return highly recommended”
“This place is full of great atmosphere, delicious fresh food beautifully presented on the plates. Everything was fresh and full of flarour. Great choice of food, the menu has variety of everything. Lovely desserts. Great choice of drinks and moctails. Drinks and moctails are delish! All reasonable prices, including the food. The staff were absolutely great, very attentive to order details, very friendly and helpful. Despite it was very busy they were very efficient and the food was served very promptly. The atmosphere of this place is just unbelievable. It's chilled with music in the background. What it's really worth seeing if the roof garden- if you're lucky with the weather and table available there, you will soak the atmosphere of this place even more!”
“This is hands down one of the best restaurants in Nottingham. Cosy vibes. Good quality French cuisine. Friendly service - Roman is so lovely. I always look forward to seeing what specials will be on the board. Keep doing what you are doing!”
“With the weather in the minus outside, Tylers is the perfect place for a late breakfast. Not bad at all. Fresh bread? Followed by another coffee and a scone. Easy to park for 2 hours. Happy cafe.”
“Our first visit, recommended by one of my colleague. We stopped for a breakfast. Great location of the tearooms as along the Grantham Canal, perfect stop if you walk or bicycle along the canal. There are plenty seats and table outside where you can enjoy nice views and greedy ducks may keep you company so be careful. If may be busy so make sure there is a table available before ordering. More table available upstairs. Great choice of breakfast and lunch, cold and hot drinks, ice creams and yummi home made cakes, scones and muffins. The staff were very attentive, friendly and helpful. Our breakfast was served within 10 minutes max. Great coffee! The meals were presented in nice way, good one and the portions were decent. I missed a little bit of flavour in smashed avocado, bacon was OK. The bread, sausages and tomatoes were really good. So the food was correct, I missed a little bit of taste twist. The inside decor is nice, and cosy, very clean. Toiles are located outside. What I really like about the place is the wall pictures by local artists you can buy. I am still giving 5 starts with a credit for delicious-looking cakes I am going to try next time as I will definitely be back.”
“How has it taken me so long to visit this place!? Wow, the coffee is incredible. Had the Tanat Finca Milan as a flat white and it was superb. I'll be back to try more exotic brews as soon as possible!”
“Lovely food and great service as always. We’ve been in here lots of times and have never been disappointed. Erhan is very attentive and friendly. Definitely recommend!”
“Wife and I went for lunch Friday afternoon, were drawn to the gluten free options. Owners are very savvy about ensuring plenty of options for coeliac (other allergens in kitchen but cross contamination is well controlled and avoided). We had delicious quiche and sandwich with lots of tasty salads and a cheese scone to share, all gluten free and all delicious! They have plenty of gluten free cake too, bought some to take away. Staff were all very friendly and reassuring. Great atmosphere both inside and outside for dining. Looking forward to coming back again soon to support this local gem!”
“Lovely food and drink stop on our walk from Breaston to Draycott”
“Wow what a place! Popped in today for lunch and so glad I did! The best dirty chai ever!! A beautiful place to unwind. I really hate getting my coffee from the big chains where the staff are grumpy and the coffee is mediocre, I will be back, thank you Barista Lab!”
“Stumbled across this place almost by accident. Well named as if you weren't looking for it you might easily pass by without seeing it. Food was excellent, portion sizes are huge and the prices are beyond reasonable. Only complaint was we were too full to try the delicious looking cakes they had on offer. Guess we'll just have to go back. If you're in the area definitely check it out. If not I'd recommend going out your way to try it.”
“We came in on a busy saturday morning for brunch, staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Food was amazing. There was some building fault towards the end of our time there that meant they were closing early but the staff handled it amazingly and we never knew there was an issue, and we weren’t rushed to leave after they decided the kitchen had to be closed. Definitely will be making this a regular spot for weekend treats.”
“Very friendly owners, great deal on 2 cream teas for £7.50”
“Myself and a friend so much enjoyed our afternoon tea here which was delicious and just the right size with great value for money. The waitresses were lovely and the service excellent. We will be back thank you so much.”
“Avocado with tomatoes on toast was delicious. You get given a choice of sliced or tinned tomatoes which is great. Customers service was great. The young girl behind the counter was very accommodating. Absolutely will be back. Highly recommend.”
“Food brilliant. Clean and very pleasant dining area.”
“Lovely quiet breakfast experience today..friendly helpful staff, high quality ingredients, our first time after a family recommendation and we shall return…highly recommend…photo has wife stealing a hash brown of my plate…cheers”
“Small but quaint. Great service, food and homemade cakes. Definitely recommend.”
“Absolutely lovely breakfast, went down a treat, super friendly and very quick service.”
“Excellent service and very tasty food . Great value.”
“A lovely high tea at Copper Cogs with some friends. Great service and lovely atmosphere. I noted on my booking that I was dairy free and didn’t expect much as most places still don’t cater well for it but I was delivered the most gorgeous selection of sandwiches and cakes, I was so impressed. We have eaten breakfast here too and always love it.”
“Delicious toasties and fantastic vegan options. I love that the toastie flavours are often seasonal. I had the mulled wine poached pear with hazelnut one in winter and it was AMAZING! I like the coffee, they have lots of interesting drinks and different milk options. Lots of lovely shops and stonebridge city farm which is great. Outdoor seating is lovely and spacious, I sometimes find inside a little busy and noisy (just because it's popular!)”
“It was a fantastic meal I would definitely go again and I was served by an amazing waitress called mar she was fabulous very attentive she did a great job”
“We had a lovely meal here with genuine Italian food. Everything was cooked and presented well. The service was kind and attentive. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant. The location is excellent and we would definitely return.”
“The Crimson Tree is a beautiful café with a unique, vintage atmosphere that feels warm and inviting. The service was excellent, and the staff were very welcoming. We had the Mediterranean breakfast, Brioche French toast, and a hot chocolate. Everything was delicious! I especially loved the flavors, though I do wish the potatoes and falafel in the Mediterranean dish were baked instead of boiled. Overall, a great experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back!”
“Best breakfast ever. I recomend this to anyone for the first time in Nottingham and looking for where to eat. Nice vegetarian and vegan options. Great matcha late and chai late. Staff is very nice and helpfull. Also, decoration is lovely.”
“Went for lunch. The cafe was busy but managed to get a table for 3 of us. Lovely views infront of the glass floor to ceiling windows of the surrounding area. Prices are quite high, however this outweighed by the quality and selection of the food. I had quiche of the day which came with a plate full off salad and pasta with a door wedge size of quiche. Well worth the money! Good selection of drinks available with a promot service. The selection of cakes are definitely tempting as well. Will definitely pay another visit l.”
