“Great micro pub with a varied selection of ales. The staff are helpful and friendly and the prices are excellent too.”
“Great pub, great staff, great customers great big landlord Big Murph, I love the place, go visit”
“Just had a beautiful Sunday roast here, all home cooked.. Nice atmosphere too.. A real traditional pub as they used to be, highly recommend it.”
“One of the best set menu fine dining experiences in Nottingham. It was clear on every course the detail put into the flavours and presentation. The taste was also incredible on every course and very much worth the cost. I also went away feeling decent level of full and the course pacing allowed a good amount of time to make it's a great experience. Staff were also great and attentive to dietary needs. Overall a super experience worth trying.”
“Top notch family owned and run Italian restaurant in a beautiful and historic building. The food was outstanding.”
“Fabulous real ale pub, relaxing bar and lounge rooms. Live entertainment draws a good crowd in on a regular basis. Have an outdoor area and marque (available to hire out for parties) would recommend to all Lager, Real Ale + Cider drinkers. Busiest pub in Kimberley, especially in the evenings when those in the centre close early!”
“Love Shack....awesome joint, beware the locals though....:-)”
“Great place with great service, lovely staff. Our dog loved it so much she made us visit twice!”
“Really nice friendly and cosy pub serving great ales and food at very reasonable prices. Added extra is they have a small camp site.”
“Lovely micropub with a community feel, friendly vibe and welcoming owner. Range of own beers and local ciders/wine. Whisky and gin tasting events are a great alternative evening out.”
“Food was amazing. Great value for money lots to choice from portion size great. Best takeaway in a long time”
“We had the best, unexpected night at the Blues Dawg, called in just passing, the atmosphere was fantastic, the owner/manager brilliant, staff so friendly, relaxed good fun night, great live music to sing a long to, it made my wife's birthday, thank you. We will definitely be back.”
“The Top House in Bulwell is a local community public House. It is welcoming and the building is set back from a quiet road. There is ample parking and a large outside space which is well designed and consists of a couple of attractive terraced areas, one under cover. It is not a 'food pub' but harks back to the days when pubs were pubs. Cobs, which used to be available in every pub during the 50s, 60s and 70s, are available and the atmosphere is relaxed and convivial. The beer prices are extremely reasonable, and the staff are polite and efficient. In short, if you're in Bulwell, I recommend paying this hostelry a visit. You won't be disappointed”
“Small yet perfectly formed micropub with a great selection of real ales from near and far, not to mention a selection of other drinks. Friendly professional staff will help you choose an ale if you're not sure. Regular customers also friendly. Large rear garden, partly covered.”
“Ok, so it's not a trendy modern pub. But, it's newly decorated, super clean and super friendly. Reasonable choice of beers, ciders and standard pub fayre at good prices. No-one is a stranger here and there's no mouthy locals or loud music.”
“Music is fantastic! I see The Most Ugly Child as often as I can, and I've never been disappointed by just turning up to see a band. Some great beers draught and fun shots too. The bar has a strong country theme which is pretty cool!”
“We stopped here for a few hours before the football. It gets very busy just before the match, so early arrival is advised. Great atmosphere!”
“I have just attended Day 1 of the Analogue Spotlight Event at Nonsuch Studios. I enjoyed all the stalls and workshops laid on. My only gripe is that the toilets became unusable during the afternoon meaning that 50-60 people had to share one loo! I'm going to Day 2 tomorrow, I hope the loos are mended!!!! “Honestly couldn’t rate my visit high enough, the car park had just about the right amount of parking spaces and the smoking area perfectly lit ( mind the pun ) the hosts seriously were lovely and we had the best of times”
“Brilliant service, fabulous haircut, fantastic with children. Highly recommended. Love it. .”
“Friendly local pub with good quality cask ales at a great price. Will visit again when back in the area.”
“Top notch cakes, pastries, coffee, and food. The menu isn't huge but is varied, caters to dietary requirements, and the quality of the food is fantastic for the price. Used to be a regular haunt, for brunch, very glad it's back open!”
“Came for the Living Goods pop up, stayed for the vibes!! Lovely cozy atmosphere and staff are 10/10 friendly, funny and just great. Can’t wait to visit again! Thanks all :-)”
“Great music. The cocktails and service was the best on my trip to Lincoln. So good, I went again the night after. Price of the drinks was very good too! Also for a bit of fun, there are telephones dotted around the venue which you can call and talk to random people!”
“Kelham house is out of this world and made our happily ever after so much more happily! The team at Kelham are nothing short of AMAZING! We are so grateful for all your kindness, welcoming and personal touches everyone had. You guys made us feel so comfortable and created such a perfect day for us. Nothing was too much or any pressure. They also created two ceremony venues for us, with the hope we could get married outside and luckily 2025 March weather held out for us. From the staff member handing me a tissue prior to walking down the aisle, to the check ins to see if everything is ok. Kelham, you really do go above and beyond and honestly we cannot thank you enough! All our love, the Campbell’s x”
“Great food and beer, cosy middle-sized pub with friendly staff.”
“Wow, this place is amazing. This is a hidden gem , ever so quirky with great food at a fantastic price. The Sunday roast dinner is value for money and is amazing the best I have had in years. Well done to the owner for making it such a lovely experience, the staff are amazing and location is really tranquil. We enjoyed our Sunday dinner so much we went back the next few days, the curry night was brilliant and the steaks, mixed grill are awesome. You have to check this place out if you are in the area.”
“First time visiting and it won’t be the last! Food was piping hot and so tasty. Young girl serving us was super and its such a shame there wasn’t an option to add TIP to the card payment as we didn’t have cash on us. We know for next time! Thank you all. The Lamb was soooo nice!”
“Love this pub. Me & my grandaughter had light bites but it was so filling. Sat in the bar area there’s also a dining area. First visit but hopefully I’ll visit again soon”
“Well a very nice surprise finding this lovely pub. After a Easter day out with the niece at the farm we picked up an appetite and not knowing the area we stumbled upon the navigation. So we had a spot of lunch with refreshments on a lovely sunny day. My burger was probably one of the best Burgers I've had from a pub / restaurant. The patties are full of beefy flavour and the cheese was perfectly melted and didn't over power the burger . Fresh salad and onions was nicely put together in-between a lovely fresh brioche bun. Lovely hot fries that was well seasoned. I also tried some of the grilled chicken tikka from the wrap and that tasted very nice and on my return may well be the dish I try next. Such a lovely dish around that looked and tasted great and even the salad garnish looked fresh and crunchy. We will definitely return for a more involved experience but it's a great pub with great food and dogs are also welcome and with a great beer garden this is truly a lovely spot to be on those warm days. The locals are blessed with such a place.”
