“Amazing Sunday dinner! We stopped at the Trent Navigation Inn after a long drive back from London in bad weather and were looking forward to some nice hearty food. The Sunday dinner here did not disappoint! One of the best vegetarian nut roasts I’ve ever had and my husband said the beef and turkey were great too! The staff were great and the service was brilliant. Really friendly vibes in a comfy welcoming setting and can’t wait to come back for another Sunday dinner. Hopefully next time we’ll be able to save space for pudding as they also looked amazing! Thank you!”

“I have just attended Day 1 of the Analogue Spotlight Event at Nonsuch Studios. I enjoyed all the stalls and workshops laid on. My only gripe is that the toilets became unusable during the afternoon meaning that 50-60 people had to share one loo! I'm going to Day 2 tomorrow, I hope the loos are mended!!!! They do regular live music events, which are great and I love that we don't have to travel out of Newark to see some great quality bands. The choice of drinks is also good and there's definitely something for everyone. The open fire is always a bonus too!”

“Honestly couldn’t rate my visit high enough, the car park had just about the right amount of parking spaces and the smoking area perfectly lit ( mind the pun ) the hosts seriously were lovely and we had the best of times”

I was looking forward to trying everything we ordered but it was honestly exceptional - beautifully presented, incredible flavour combinations, nicely proportioned. Churros and salmon with orange were both incredible. The padron peppers were maybe the best we've ever had. I'd say it was really good value for the quality as well. Would love to pop in again in the future.”

“I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience at Bohns Best Burgers recently. I opted for the BFC burger, and I must say it was genuinely impressive. The quality of the ingredients was evident, the combination of flavours was excellent, and it was cooked perfectly. Beyond the food, the service was commendable. “Went on Valentine's day and attention to detail was lovely...material petals, fresh roses and candles. We had an olives starter, very tasty, followed by pizza. Great choice of traditional and modern pizzas made in a real pizza oven, cooked to order. Flavours were delicious. Pricing and quantity were good...even some left to take home. The service was great, attentive and welcoming.”

“Food was great: extensive menu and homemade desserts. Breakfast sandwiches used quality ingredients and you could really taste the difference. Room was clean with great WiFi and comfy bed. Location is great for accessing central Newark with complimentary parking which saves you. All in all a great experience, lovely family that run the place. Very hard to find somewhere like this these days!”

“We went for our second time recently, a year after the first time. The first time was OK, but this time the food was really great and tasty. Both times were on a Saturday for a late lunch. We took quite a few yakitori, including the aubergine, which was so good we took another one. Also had a fried rice to carb load. Great food, very fast. Not overly friendly but efficient. Good choice of sake too.”

“Excellent food at a very reasonable price. Adam the new landlord was very welcoming. The pub has also had a very tasteful makeover since coming under new management to bring it's decor up to date which has enhanced the atmosphere too. All in all the perfect, family friendly country pub.”
