“I honestly cannot fault this place. The food is heavenly, staff are perfect, and vibes are immaculate! On a hot day enjoy your food and drinks by the beautiful canal, on a cold day enjoy them inside the cosy restaurants with the fire. I genuinely could not name a nicer restaurant/ pub if I tried. The only problem is my bank account because I can’t stop coming here for the gorgeous food! Although I would say reasonably priced for the quality you get.”

This place should be packed to the rafters, there was absolutely nothing that could have been better during our meal. The staff were super friendly and frankly I can’t remember the last time I had onion bhaji’s that were so fresh. Definitely recommended, especially if you are a local :)”

“Disability Access Post: Its a bit complicated. There is disabled parking around the area but no free spaces easily found and drop off is tricky as well. However they have a disabled platform at the back - its best to phone to book. If you can transfer then any aisle seat is ok although the slope is a bit vicious. The lift is usher operated - so ask for the Accessibility Usher when you arrive and they will sort you out. This is something I have never seen before - they have a list of everyone's location and needs. You can take bottles and glasses to your seat which is a glamorous touch and they will bring your interval drinks to you (you can pre-book online). The access card scheme gives not only a complementary companion tickets but also reduced ticket price as well - what a treat !”

“This is a great place for a family day out, reasonable ticket price. Clean soft play area suitable for kids between 6-10 years old. Animals barn , tractor trailer, bouncing pillow and the whole park is huge! There is food counter as well, the price is reasonable in terms of a theme park. Last but not least, the staff are so friendly and you can see they keep empty the rubbish bins to keep the place tidy and clean.”

“This meal was a gift from my husband. We booked an early table on a Sunday evening so the restuarant was fairly quiet. It's a lovely setting, right on the river and is nicely decorated. The service was very good and our food was delicious. My arranchini starter was one of the best I've had. We have already decided to return and try the tasting menu next time.”

“Lovely lunch. A hidden away place. Menu has almost all gluten-free options. Had risotto for starter, followed by steak and finished off with cheesecake. All perfectly done, especially the risotto which was fantastic. Highly recommended for anyone in the area”

“We chose the angel to hold the wake yesterday, for the loss of our mother. We honestly couldn't have asked for more and are so happy we went here. Andy is an absolutely lovely, welcoming guy who was so intent to do whatever we wanted and made us feel so 'looked after'. The food was incredible and atmosphere of the function room and the bar are warm cozy. We aim to return for drinks by the fire and roasts on some Sundays! Thank you team much appreciated x”

“Had a flyer through my door with great photo's of their Thai food, so I thought I would try them. I thought my Thai Green curry was pretty good but after having one from their menu I was amazed ! it was stunning, so good I went back the following week and then also with the girlfriend and then the following weekend with 2 friends, we were all very very impressed with the superb menu stunning food and great service, give them a try you will not be disappointed. “Went with a group of 11. Inc one celiac and Veggie. 3 had starters and most had several drinks plus main course. Worked out just over £30 per head. Pleasant friendly staff who looked after us well. Would definitely use again/ recommend. Parking can be hit or miss but that's not their fault.”

“Faye & Chef Fon led a brilliant cookery class, where we learnt how to make Pad Thai and Tom Yum soup. Just the right amount of prep, mixed with already prepared ingredients by the kitchen, meant that we learnt at a relaxed pace and enjoyed a delicious self-cooked meal at the end, with a cocktail. Really great value for how much they covered in a 2.5 hour session, really fantastic. Thank you Faye & Chef Fon!”
