“Loved our latest visit to Megan’s! We’ve been several times before for lunch but tried brunch today and it was lovely! We had the Turkish eggs with an added sausage and it was delicious and super filling! Great service from Mike who was also super engaging and helpful, similar to the lovely member of staff who originally seated us. Keep up the good work and we’ll be back soon.”

“Returning from London through Didcot and searched for a restaurant locally. I arrived just as Zigana was closing but was offered a Chicken Chicken Beyti wrap as takeaway. I also bought the shakshuka and Dolma (stuffed vine leaves). The owner threw in a free dish (I chose Yogurtlu Patlican) and free beer while I waited for the chicken to cook over the charcoal. As I left, he also added fresh baked bread. The food is absolutely delicious, incredible balance of spices, herbs, heat and sour yoghurt. I will return for an in house meal in the near future, and how lovely to be greeted with such generosity. Many thanks.”

“The best coffee in Reading! I’ve been coming here for years now and can honestly say it’s my favourite coffee shop. The bagels are incredible and the staff are always so friendly and welcoming. Also dog friendly which is quite rare in Reading centre.”

“Though more expensive than realise ,is busy ,friendly and cosy. Warm welcome ,grab a seat and wait your turn. Simple but works. Nice selection of sandwiches and meals. Comfortable friendly atmosphere and engaging with other diners create warm atmosphere. Food presented well ,plentiful and cooked well- no complaints! Other than price all boxes ticked!”

“A friend an I had the festive afternoon tea at the Pantry this week and I would highly recommend it. Lovely touches like delicious warm festive punch, and the option of fig jam for the scones - one if which was orange and cranberry flavour. It really was a bit different, and all the items were delicious - especially the fluffy as a cloud brioche bun option. We loved the experience and may well return again later in the festive season!”

“Just came back from lovely Japanese dinner. Wine was perfectly paired with meal and food was absolutely delicious! Both Miwa and myself come from Japan and must say we rarely find authentic Japanese food around this area. “We had the set lunch at the Pot Kiln....fabulous food and fantastic service...with a competitively priced menu! The Iberian inspired menu is full of flavour and well presented...From the padron peppers to the Catalan fish stew to the Basque cheesecake with macerated berries...the flavours are nicely balanced and cooked to perfection! Moreover, the great selection of wines nicely complemented the amazing food! The countryside of Yattendon is an idyllic setting to enjoy fantastic food and brilliant service at the Pot Kiln!”

“We went to see the show ‘It will be alright on the night’ a ray Cooney production. This was the first time we had been since the sit down menu change at the theatre. Very impressed. Lovely food, comfy seats and table service. Staff were brilliant and we had plenty of time to eat before the show. The show was outstanding, very funny and we all had a wonderful evening. We also went at Christmas to see White Christmas and again the show was outstanding and perfect for this time of year. 100 recommend a visit to this wonderful theatre.”

“Beautiful food. Me and my partner shared 3 small plates and then had a burger as well. Everything was delicious and well cooked and flavoured. Burnt ends were incredible!!!!! Service was also 10/10, Ryan was attentive throughout, couldn’t fault him.”

“One of the best places to eat in Reading! Second time eating- every time extremely happy! Me and my husband Edgar ordered today Zaks mixed platter and lamb shashlik. Everything was super tasty. Meat was so juicy and tender, absolutely delicious. Chips and salad were marvelous. Zaks sauces're just amazing . Thanks guys very much and we will be back very soon! “Gotten pies to take away from here a few times, today I sat in with some friends visiting from the US, we all loved the pies. Recommendations are the Five Nations, the Lamb & Mint, and the Venison & Boar. The pork pies are pretty good but would recommend their other pies over them.”

“Parked near Waitrose on the way to have dinner with my wife at on of Farnham's High Street restaurants. However, on the way we noticed this small Italian restaurant and as the menu looked good we decided to give it a try. It was very early so we were the first customers, hence the 4-stars for Atmosphere. However it began to fill up as we left. The Owner and waiter welcomed us and they were very friendly. The food was excellent (and I mean excellent) - some of the best Italian food we have had. We dine out fairly regularly so we do not say this lightly. I really could not fault anything - the starters, the mains even the coffee was perfect It was also nice to find a restaurant that was more of a family business rather than one of the national chain establishments. I can not recommend this restaurant highly enough and if you are in Farnham then I strongly urge you to try the Barn Bistro. You will not be disappointed.”

“Excellent Chef table experience. It is not only food and drink. Gettign to talk to the staff was an amazing experience. The food was delicious. I opted for a diary and meat free menu. Every dish was amazing. Every bite was full of flavour. In terms of drinks, I normally only drink water with lunch. This time, I went for the mocktail pairing. I loved all of them, sugar free, creative and full of new flavours.”

“Went to this Lido on a Thursday with their Swim & Lunch package. Such a best deal! We came a bit late but the team are very welcoming and flexible and we can still enjoy the lunch and the swim and spa facilities.”

“The food here was excellent as always. Starters were prompt, and delicious, I had cheese souffle, my husband had a duo of pate, both were a good size. The main was course was also fantastic, chicken with a pernod sauce, and my husband had venison. We really should have stopped there as we were actually full, but sight of tarte tatin on the desert menu tempted us. It was delicious, but I couldn't finish it, such was the size of the portions. We also had a bottle of house Merlot which was very good. Service was prompt and polite, it really is a delightful treat to eat at Pierre Victoire!”

“Best food 'takeout' I have personally tried. True authentic Italian food - decided to try the menu items (only had the 10/10 Pizza previously) and it didn't disappoint. Absolutely great meal and good value. These guys need a full restaurant with seating! Glass of vino and a three course meal with them would be great.”

“If you like remote and dog friendly, this is ideal. Google maps took us down some country lanes and over a single way bridge, on the map the pub shows pretty much on an island surrounded by country parks & lakes. The location is nice. Car park has about 30 spaces & I think 2 electric car chargers. The pub was pretty quiet when we arrived and the locals/staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The pub itself has a lovely interior. To the food, we had the vegan burger, bacon and cheese burger and the childs fish goujons. All very nice and well portioned. For dessert we had the rhubarb crumble with vanilla and vegan ice cream, finished off the meal perfectly.”

“A small family run restaurant felt tucked away. A bit hard to find but it was such an amazing experience. Extremely friendly staff and food was outstanding. It's a shame we were just visiting Reading and that we don't live there!”

“Simple but great sushi, noodle and rice options with a good range of proteins including tofu steak. We went with a salmon sushi platter which didn't disappointed; a couple of chicken ramen and a chicken katsudon - all were simply great. Their homemade chilli oil is exceptional and should be used sparingly! Nice team. Go support.”

“We had a lovely dinner out, the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, we had Udon and a sushi platter as well as Takoyaki and it was all delicious. It's a small restaurant but it just makes the atmosphere feel very cosy and warm. The place was full when we had our meal but it didn't feel crowded or particularly loud at all.”
