“Retford Kitchens have just fitted a complete re vamp of our kitchen which included new worktops,sink, taps and doors, handles, pelmets , end panels, kick boards. The experience at the shop in choosing the style and colours, were very professional from the staff. We were kept fully up to date of the progress of delivery and fitting, which we appreciated. The fitters arrived on time and were professional and courteous and very efficient. The work was carried out to a very high standard and Ryan and Craig were a credit to their profession. We are extremely pleased with the finished kitchen and would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone thinking of having their own kitchen done. “I recently placed an order for a new SPS3 electric sit-stand desk, pedestal, anti fatigue mat, Ergotron dual side by side monitor arm and Puls 8010 chair via my employer following a full DSE assessment. From my very first contact made, to present time, the customer service must be the best that I've experienced from any company to date. An extremely personal and friendly experience from both the sales and delivery people (Mark, Sally and Dave). A very personal approach from a company which must be congratulated and recognised. The furniture itself is well made, smart and functional. I am a home worker who for several years has worked for many hours on a daily basis sitting at a desk. I am quite physically active outside working hours, and found that sitting for long periods of time sitting at a desk caused me to suffer from lower back pain. Since the delivery of my new furniture, I now have the ability to vary my position at the desk, either standing, in a perched position, or sitting at a regular height. One of the most valuable items has been the addition of the anti fatigue mat. When standing, the mat really takes any pressure away, and find that I can stand quite comfortably at the desk for a full days work. I've been so impressed with the mat that I've now ordered another for use in our kitchen, where we have a tiled floor. Although this may have been an expense for my employer, I truly believe that by being more comfortable, and pain free whilst working, this should be seen as more of an investment, and they will reap the rewards from me being more effective at my work. A huge thank you again from me to this family company, and sincerely hope this company continues to prosper. Please keep up the good work!”

“We already had a really nice kitchen which we loved ,but our worktops and appliances were getting old and tired after 10 years use , 1st Class replaced the worktops with beautiful new ones and all the appliances , double oven , induction hob , extractor fan , sink and tap etc , all top quality products and really well fitted , thanks to Dave , Helen and Charlotte at the showroom for your good advice and being so helpful and thanks to the fitters Matt and Rob who were brilliant. i would recommend you to anyone.”

Being honest, from the outside, the shop doesn't look much but they are surprisingly good and much quicker on delivery as well. Way more options to offer than the big names. “Our Natuzzi leather sofa was starting to look a little sad after my 14 stones sitting on it for the last ten years so we decided to have it re padded. Having never had work done like this before it was always going to be a shot in the dark, however it needed doing as it was an expensive piece of furniture that we still liked. We came upon Oakbrook Upholstery on researching upholstery companies in Sheffield. We were immediately impressed at how quickly Nick responded to our email, a refreshing change these days! After exchanging details, talking about the work required and sending a few photographs we were given a rough estimate of the cost and we decided to go with it. Oakbrook take the furniture away and bring it back again, all included in the price. When the settee was returned it looked like new and we were absolutely delighted with the end result. Nick and his colleagues were always respectful and a pleasure to have in our home. We paid by debit card and the job was done. In summary, if you find yourselves in need of some upholstery repairs like us, we couldn't recommend Oakbrook Upholstery highly enough. From our first communications we always had a feeling of confidence that the job would be done well and we weren't wrong. “We were supposed to be at a wake in The Angel. But the landlady was not there, so the pub was closed. We decided to go to the Royal instead. They were great, especially at short notice when we all walked in. Great place to go for a drink and a lovely atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and efficient.”
