“Had trouble finding the place initially but when found Siobhan was extremely welcoming. The place is large and airy with lots of toys and the soft play is very good. The entrance fee is very reasonably priced and the food was great. Would definitely visit again even though I live quite far away in Tadcaster.”

“My partner went for his Stag do. They all said they had the best time. All of them came back grinning, laughing and joking. Sounded amazing. Said the team/Marshalls were very helpful and helped make the experience. Spoke to someone via email as we had lots of changes with our booking (nothing to do with Adrenalin Jungle) but they were very helpful, always in contact, solved any issues or queries we had. “Stayed last week for the second time. The first being 2 years ago. Really lovely, very clean and well kept. Nice touches like champagne and chocolates on arrival as well as tea coffee and a lot of kitchen condiments. The spa was an amazing addition too. The house is well away from the road and very quiet.”

“This is a fantastic place, for a meal, or for drink or two. The menu is varied, the quality of the meals is amazing, they are very tasty and a very reasonable price. My favourite is the steak pie, it is something else, full of meat, and like other choices very enjoyable. I have taken my elderly mum several times, it’s firm favourite of hers and mine. I also enjoy a good night out with friends there, the drinks menu is varied, and the atmosphere friendly and welcoming. If I could give this place more than five stars, I would, it is that good.”

“Just been for an early evening meal. What a beautiful restaurant, with a lovely welcoming ambience. The menu is amazing and covers all food choices, and the chef was lovely, giving us complimentary bread and dips, and an alternative dish to sample that he was trying out. The waiting staff were suburb, especially Chloe who was so lovely and attentive. I can highly recommend this place and will definitely be returning very soon.”

“Recently stayed for two nights, whilst trading at an event at the Lincoln showground. A small, but very comfortable and clean room, with everything needed, including good wifi. Very friendly hosts, who did earlier than normal breakfasts for us, as we needed an early start. Breakfast was lovely, good choice, plentiful and cooked perfectly. Highly recommended.”

“A very warm welcome a beautiful traditional pub. Very friendly staff. The waitress a breath of fresh air. And the food was traditional good cooked and presented lovely a set menu is available at a very good price. We had soup pates fish, and my husband hasn't stopped talking about his pie, and braising steak and home made desserts apple crumble and steamed puddings, absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended. “Great location. You can walk to Stanage edge from the campsite. The pods are a great choice. They are very spacious and insulated. They have a small heater, and 2 outlets for charging phones ect. We stayed in the Stanage pod, it was close to the car park and the toilets/showers and community space was just across the field. Everyone staying there was considerate, even the DofE group that stayed the first night, and there was little noise after 10. The site is well managed and the staff were really friendly and happy to help. I would definitely recommend if you are looking to stay in the area”

“Beautiful place which is really well maintained. Lots of little hideaway to look at nature. Lots of bench’s to sit and take in the views and a little picnic area to eat away from from the lake. To say we went on Good Friday it was really quite, I would highly recommend anyone to go.”
