Fabulous little find with a restaurant at the side for anyone wanting to eat in The fish is out of this world and we have tried others but we are always comparing it to JM's. “We organised a group booking for our Curry Club at The Station Hotel, Parkgate. What an amazing night. The quality of the food was exceptional, fantastic value for money and lots of variety. “Such a great hostel ran by Colin, would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay away for personal trips as well as business retreats. I'll defiantly be back for both! On this account I'd stayed with my colleagues from work, for a work retreat and from start to finish the hospitality that we received from Colin and the team was 100% and beyond! We were all very grateful and know we'll be back again next year. 15 of us stayed at the hostel, we practically had the rooms to ourselves which was great, all very modern and recently renovated. In the heart of the Peak District a short walk from many trails and a river. It's a bonus that Fountain View Bakery is part of the hostel where we had all our meals which was brilliant, lovely meals provided on all accounts, catering for all our dietary requirements. Thank you to Matthew and the team for looking after us with our food options. The pizzas were 10/10! Colin and Matthew you've been absolutely stars and we look forward to staying with you again soon! I would highly recommend! Everything was 10/10!”

“Great place to stay. The staff were really helpful, friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy their job. We turned up a group of 5 blokes on motorbikes and were made to feel welcome. Very clean rooms and fantastic facilities. Always loads of hot water and the breakfast was great.”

“The studio apartment is pretty good - spacious enough with good storage space. Monthly social events are usually planned quite well. Common spaces are kept tidy. Gym is good but couple of important equipments are missing.”

“Phoned as I needed a ball joint for my car... Admittedly I had called two other suppliers that did not have stock... Spoke to Ellie who was very efficient and friendly and gave me price options on different brands... Kept them on reserve for me to collect later that day. Upon arriving at the store the lad on the counter was serving a gent who ordered parts but made a mistake with his order and changed his mind again which took a while to sort... Said lad on counter was very patient with the customer although a queue had formed... Upon seeing this one of the guys from the office dropped what he was doing and came out to help... Again very friendly and efficient... Had the parts in stock and was cheaper... Great service... Staff should be commended.”

The ground was well-maintained, providing excellent viewing from all angles. The staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food and drink options were plentiful, catering to all tastes and ensuring we were well-fed throughout the day. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend the John Fretwell Complex for any cricket match.”

“Vogue Flat pack kitchen in cashmere gloss We Ordered a Vogue Flat pack Kitchen from Wren in august in cashmere gloss and have to say we are so pleased with it. The whole process with wren has been seamless from the design stage to the kitchen being delivered. We did have a couple of doors that were chipped and new ones were sent immediately and when we came to fit the worktops we noticed one had a scratch right in the middle and the other had a chip. After a quick call to wren replacements were sent and with me within a few days. We would definitely recommend wren not only for our value for money kitchen, but there customer service.”

“I have been staying with the pastures hotel for around 2/3 year through work purpose. I have to travel around 2/3 hours sometimes to get there, The staff are nothing but warm and friendly, they are always happy to help and super approachable. The rooms are always made up lovely, I have been fortunate to stay in a few of the suites, last one being the bridal suite which was absolutely amazing. Sometimes I can be there for a few weeks at a time, I have always felt the staff were very hospitable which is reassuring when you’re away for a while in an area you’re not totally familiar with. I’d like to mention that Sharon and Michelle in particular are a credit to the hotel and have always been super welcoming!”

“Very clean and cosy room, very comfy bed, owner greeted us on arrival, 100% professional and extremely welcoming. Definitely staying here again. Hotel is on the main road but not too noisy as quality windows installed. Free WiFi, USB ports on sockets, amazing shower. My partner and I have stayed in big chain hotels previously and although they were marginally cheaper (on average between £2-£15) the quality and comfort of the Kellett Hotel surpasses them all.”

“We have always enjoyed our visits to this lovely house in a peaceful setting close to local amenities and the countryside. It is tastefully decorated and well maintained with everything required for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The kitchen is very well equipped, the 5 bedrooms, out door space and lawn make it ideal for intimate family gatherings or celebrations or for a relaxing break with friends. It is easy to find, hand over is simple and both the Owner and the manager of the property couldn't be more helpful or considerate.”
