“I've used this pharmacy for the last few years and always had great service. The staff have always been helpful when little issues happen and provided explanations when things have gone wrong. I can't quite believe some of the negative reviews on here - show a little patience, life's busy and too short to get bent out shape over a little time spent in the chemist.”
“The 2 Reception staff were so lovely, welcoming and helpful. Within 2 weeks of being on the waiting list we was accepted as nhs patients. Then registered our children and booked their checkup for the same week. Checkup and treatment appointment was only 2 days apart! Overall really good however the wait to be seen was around 30 minutes. Highly recommend”

“What can i say, nothing negative at all. If you are like me and have real fear of the dentist, then this is the place for you. From the receptionists to the dental nurses, to the dentists themselves, they are all awesome. Alex has helped me get over my fear, and throughout the extensive work I have had done has been patient and understanding. I will not hesitate to come back in the future, which im sure i will need to. If i could give 10 out of 5 stars i would. Thank you so much, all of you!!”
“Can't thank the doctor enough for the help in getting my daughter straight into hospital without going through A and E as she has a learning disability and autism. Rang and was seen the same day. He was very thorough and compassionate. Turns out her appendix had burst and she needed surgery promptly.”
“My son attends staff have always been great with him as he is very nervous and has had to have some treatments, receptionists have also always been friendly and helpful”
“Got appointment by following the procedure. On arrival nice calm atmosphere until a middle guy came in ranting at the receptionist just doing her job. He wouldn't listen to her advice on what to do, and said he was putting a complaint in. Shortly after I was called in to see Dr Ayesha Ahmed, she introduced herself and had read my recent medical notes, she listened intently and advised on the next step to my issue. I was extremely impressed with the Doctor and the receptionist.”
“It's the best doctors surgery I've ever been to. All the staff are very friendly. That's from the receptionists, doctors, nurses and all the staff. You couldn't want a better surgery if you wanted to. I would give them 20 stars if I could.”
“Staff are always pleasant and efficient even though they are often very busy and some customers can be very impatient and unkind towards the staff. Keep up the good work and service you provide in this very busy hospital.”
“We've been going to this Pharmacy for 19 years. The Staff are brilliant they care, they're helpful, they go to great lengths to advise and help for whatever your concerned about. I've been there when the occasional customer is rude and abusive, they remain calm. The Pharmacists will always come through and discuss any problems you might have. They are wonderful. 19 yes a customer, never had a problem.”
“Leger have been amazing for me! Such a quick turnaround from blood test to consultation and treatment. Only just started the testosterone so nothing to comment yet but a big shoutout to Nicky who has been amazing in responding to all of my questions and helping organise all of the supplies etc! Very grateful to her, the team and Dr Greenwood for a thorough consultation, thoroughly recommend. 10/10”
“We had an appointment for yesterday for my daughter, and I can't fault the service at all. The receptionist lady was lovely, the doctor was very caring and informative. You could see he wasn't just trying to get thru the appointment quickly but took his time, listened to our concerns and talked us through what we should try to do next. When I had to pop back to drop a sample off the receptionist lady remembered us. eventhough people are coming and going all day long. What a nice touch!!.. Thanks guys”
“I'm quite happy with the Surgery and staff they are very helpful I always sorted out my stuff with them and staff is very positive and cheerful thank you to all staff xxx”
“I wanted to write a review as a parent, having had a child admitted here last year. I have to admit when I googled the place once I knew it's where my child would be going, the reviews scared me at a time I was already scared. At the time it gave a score of about 2.4/5. I could tell, looking through, that they mostly seemed to have been written by children, but that did nothing to ease my fears or worries. I didn't need to worry though. Right from the first time I pulled in to the car park, the staff were nothing but helpful, kind and considerate. My main experience is of Emerald Lodge. Unlike my experience of a long term stay with my child in a general hospital, it was clear that every member of staff I dealt with here was understanding and empathetic with appropriate awareness of mental illness, and the ability to separate the illness and the child. At their worst, I know my child would say horrible things to the staff, and lash out - entirely caused by the illness, or at least their fight/flight response triggered by it - but the staff continued to treat both my child, and I, with respect, concern and care. Again, this is sadly not the response I experienced after challenging behaviours on a general children's ward, so it was refreshing not to feel judged and like I was responsible for bringing up a disrespectful child. I had to deal with numerous staff over a 4 month period there, and whilst there are some names who will always stick out to me as having gone above and beyond, there is not one person I felt didn't do an amazing job. My experience of the staff at the school there too was also brilliant. Caring people who were happy to talk to me, show me their classrooms, tell me how they'd come up with activities and topics to spark more engagement and interest from my child. I knew I could contact any time, and get an update, even if I'd been there just a few hours before. I knew if it all became too overwhelming, and I ended up a sobbing mess sat on the floor of a corridor, I wouldn't be judged or ignored - someone would make time for me if I wanted it, whether it was to bring me a cuppa and a tissue and give me space, or give me a hug and sit with me. I'm hoping by writing this review I get to help put at least one parent's mind a little more at ease. I know for a fact if my child was the kind to write a review, it too would probably be negative like others on here - but they spent those months there as a child, with a severe illness, away from home, battling their thoughts and being made to follow a routine, including eating, which was something their illness didn't want them to do. Of course they won't say they loved it there. But as a mum, I saw the progress these people helped him make. I saw staff at all levels doing anything they could do engage with him and win his trust. Even now, a good 2 months after discharge, he still uses techniques he was exposed to there, because they helped. He will refer to how certain staff would help him in similar situations (e.g. "we could do what Nick helped me do"). He will randomly comment "I wonder what they're doing at Becton", or remember activities he did there. My child still has a long way to go before he's recovered, if that ever happens, but from the boy who entered Becton, to the boy he was when he left, I just never thought he'd come so far in such a relatively short amount if time. If you're a parent reading this, my heart goes out to you, as I wouldn't wish the illnesses that require going somewhere like here on anyone... but equally, I hope this review helps you feel a little less worried, and gives you some element of hope. I know I will forever be grateful to the people who looked after my son, helped him battle against his illness, and helped him be well enough to come home. I hope with all my heart I never have to go back, but I know if I do, and we receive the level of care we experienced on our first admission, that I can be confident my child is in a place that will help them.”
“I saw Dr Jack Marshall on a recent appointment. It was a very worrying time for me and he was professional kind and reassuring . He referred me quickly to a specialist and I was fully informed of the process. I hope he stays with the practice thank you .”
“Excellent service today at the Flu Fair. The staff were extremely polite and had a well organized system meaning that the whole procedure took under 3 minutes. Painless safe and efficient. Thanks to all the staff working this weekend.”
“The new e-triage system is so helpful if you are a busy person and can't spend ages waiting in phone queues. I submitted my problem and the GP called me back really quickly to discuss and write a prescription. I had a problem with the prescription at the chemist and when I went into the surgery the receptionist was polite and really helpful and the prescription was resent within minutes. I have found the GPs compassionate about my mental health and other problems. A bit hard to get an appointment soon for routine things, but I'll be using the Klinic system in future if I feel I need to book sooner than the available online appointments as it seems like it works well.”
“Absolutely on top form, well done ladies for turning it around, everyone is so efficient and the atmosphere is very welcoming, they are a fantastic bunch of staff, even getting texts to let me know my medication is ready”
“Very helpful receptionist who submitted a sample to be triaged for me, with an appointment request. Very soon I had a text to say that they would be contacting me soon, followed within a very reasonable time frame by a doctor who issued a prescription straight to the pharmacy. Excellent service. Thank you very much.”
“I have used this practice for 15 years. It has always been good but I now believe it to be excellent. I have never failed to get an appointment on the same day and my experience of the two Nurse Practicioners has been superb as well as Dr Abraham and Dr Mcgroarty. They all listen, take your concerns seriously and deal with them professionally and compassionately.”
“Staff are always very nice and polite. Never had a problem here.”
“Wishing all the team the very best for the festive season. Thank you for all your help and support this year. I appreciate your kindness and professional care. I'm looking forward to the new year with optimism and gratitude. The ongoing support and treatment is very beneficial and gives me the strength to keep putting in the work of wellness. Thank you and best wishes”

“I was rushed in Doncaster royal infirmary with prostate, bladder issues, I spent five days there my treatment was excellent. Later I needed an operation on prostate, green Lazer surgery my treatment was exemplary. Now roll on a few months my wife now a dying person was taken to Doncaster royal infirmary. The ambulance service for my wife was no more than, callous indifferent, and deplorable, for a person that was dying. My wife was in hospital for one week before she passed on. THE HOSPITAL DID THEIR BEST for her , last week alive. Now I sat with my wife for the last 37 hours of her life and not once did the hospital offer any form of refreshment, I had to go down 3 flights of stairs to a vending machine. No problem. But what was unpleasant was that when my wife died I went for a nurse who promptly came , saw my wife had died from that moment not one person from the medical profession offered any form of condolence. I was completely ignored. They offered no help whatsoever. I waited for a doctor to confirm my wife's time of death he never came, after waiting a half hour.I had no option but to leave, not very caring.”
“I have been with Clifton surgery for years and have never had any problems at all . The reception staff are lovely ,the GP,s and nurses great . I work at a different surgery in Rotherham not connected to Clifton and totally understand some of the frustration and anger the patients encounter , the waiting times for calls, the lack of appointments to offer and having to use the online services. Unfortunately this is the NHS. and surgeries have little choice when things change. We can't go back to the old ways queuing up in the morning , demanding an appointment with a particular gp.for a sniffle. It upsets alot of patients but im sure Clifton surgery is doing its best to help everyone at a difficult time. It is not the receptionists fault if there are no appointments left or they ask you what the appointment is for, it is to make sure you see the right clinician. Due to some people wanting an appointment a minor cough, cold, sore throat that they only had a couple of days, or hay fever or back pain that a pharmacist or physio can deal with is one of the reasons there are no appointments left for you or your family the genuine unwell patient. In addition to this the people who book appointments and do not attend anyway! again they are wasting an appointment that could be yours. This is across the whole of the Nhs GPS and hospitals . Clifton medial centre are trying their best to help everyone.please have a little more understanding, they are doing the best to help you ! Keep up the good work Clifton .”
