“We popped in for a bite to eat ans ended up ordering a full english as the vegetarian options were so good. The service was very attentive, personal and friendly. I would definitely recommend this as a place to grab a coffee or have lunch.”
“Great pub would definitely recommend but book as it’s busy most days food and drinks excellent staff very helpful and accommodating we called on a very cold day but the beer garden and view would be wonderful on a sunny day .”
“Lovely to see this pub reopen!! Great cosy local with brill food and fab views.”
“Fantastic night served up by Joe and the team! Top notch for a celebration, highly recommend this amazing venue. We had 60ish people for a 50th birthday and it was perfect size, vibe, service.”
“The Lucky Fox, halfway along Division Street, is always very busy. This is a good indication of quality. The place is quite small, seating less than thirty. Decor is casual and a bit rustic with a good hint of classic Americana. Reclaimed timber and American signs and art cover the walls, but not too in your face. The food is definitely the star attraction, made fresh to order every day. Most dishes are based around their "famous fried chicken" and they're on to a winner there. Portions are reasonable, prices are fair and the food is as fresh as you could want. The staff are friendly, and the service is quick. If you're along Division Street at lunch time, make sure you check for a free table.”
“Would never have considered going to this pub but, went to watch friend of my daughter perform a magic show. The show was in a private room, upstairs. The pub itself is clearly traditional, like those of my (distant) youth. It’s full of character, nooks and crannies. If you’re an ale/beer aficionado you should enjoy the selection available. Great atmosphere. No rowdies (on a Wednesday at least). Relaxed and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit. The magic was outstanding…but obviously one night only. Oh, and there’s pies. Will have to return for one of those!”
“The very best traditional pub for the very best pie anywhere, we go every fortnight and would go more if work didn't get in the way. Never disappointed ever.”
“Lovely traditional pub, good selection of real ales, plenty of seating and nice beer garden.”
“The BEST old school boozer in Sheffield, serving the best Guinness too. £5 a pint, cash only. Proper pub.”
“Had an incredible time at Beju. The staff were extremely nice and accommodating, especially our server Nico who truly went above and beyond to make my friend’s birthday special. The restaurant is beautiful and the food was incredible. It’s so great to have such a lovely halal restaurant. I will definitely be coming back. Highly, highly recommend. Toilets were also decorated so beautifully and were very clean.”
“This was my first time eating at Qashqai Kitchen after hearing a lot about the restaurant, and to be honest, it was a great experience. The customer service was 10/10, and the food was amazing — real, pure home-cooked dishes. I don’t know the name of the guy who served us. He was a big, muscular guy who looked quite serious at first, but as soon as you start talking to him, you realize he is such a sweet, humble, and welcoming person. The restaurant was very busy and crowded, yet he still provided excellent service. I absolutely recommend this place. It’s one of those rare restaurants you won’t find anywhere else.”
“Food is great quality and waiters are always welcoming. Gary served us the starters and mains and was friendly, and Charlie served us our deserts and was hospitable! Other waitresses served us too (I didn’t get their names) but both were attentive and welcoming too.”
“Monsieur Mullet made me the BEST lime soda I have ever had! What a treat! Thank you ♥️”
“Fantastic, proper local - great beers, nice people, completely unspoilt - would like to be able to give it 6 stars”
“A great pub, not much else to say. Decent selection of craft beers on keg, plus standards and a great cask range. They also do the second best pork pie in Sheffield.”
“Easily one of the best pubs in Sheffield! Dog friendly and lovely beer garden.”
“Do not be fooled and anticipate simple ‘pub food’. There is some brilliant gourmet stuff coming out of the kitchens here. The team at the bar are always super friendly and talkative and why not when the place is such a good vibe. The ru-tine chips are the pub’s take on poutine and boy is it good. Priced fairly for a chunky portion oozing with saucy flavour. You’d be a fool to ignore the food on offer here and the variety of drinks you can try too.”
“Food = BEER Only a 10 % Porter available so opted for old school BODDINGTONS - nice pint. Quite busy 8.30 pm on a Monday night.”
“Great Thornbridge pub to grab a pint or see live music”
“Brilliant pub. Comfort surroundings. Great choice of beers. Fab value if you stick to the hot sandwiches and sides. Main dishes good but not quite as good value.”
“Only come here occasionally to see artistes but always enjoy it. Lovely atmosphere, friendly people, and a good selection of real ales. Good place.”
“10 out of 10 simple as that really . Been meaning to try this place on ages and finally got here. Word of warning though arrive early or be disappointed and have to wait . 12:15 pm we are arrived and get pretty much last available table . Never a better sign of quality really is there . Thanks and I’ll definitely be seeing you soon . Top marks from me .”
“Good atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A small menu, but well cooked and presented at a reasonable price”
“We rebooked with firepit after a short staffed day, the management team are brilliant and understanding. Staff were friendly and welcoming, constantly bringing drinks and checking in. Allergies and accessibility requests were accommodated, no questions asked. The bar was reasonably busy with good music. The food was hot and brought quickly. At one point we turned down drinks as we couldn’t keep up. Before we had even sat down our drinks order had been taken. We had multiple well made cocktails, shots and bottles of Prosecco. We did the level 2 bottomless brunch. 100% would return and recommend. Thank you firepit team.”
“Absolutely top notch food and service, nothing was too much trouble for the team there, Zack gets a special mention for his bright and pleasant approach. Having visited Italy many times and eaten (far too much!) there, I can confidently say this is the closest to a real Italian experience you will get in the UK. Will be back!”
“Friendly and attentive staff. Good main courses. Didn't try the desserts or starters.”
“Me and the wife went for tea yesterday and all I can say is nice very nice the size of meal you get is big the food was red hot has it should be and it was real food not the freezer stuff. The owner lovely and we went when it wasn't to busy so bouns. They are obviously trying to keep their prices down because two large meals two large glasses of wine and one beer £40 I know some of you might think that is expensive but it's not for the quality of food we got and drinks. Thank you we will be going back.”
“This was a fantastic pub for drinking, with a superb atmosphere! The staff were very friendly and took us through the drinks available, I enjoyed my Stout after try before you buy. Live music was very enjoyable and the seating is comfortable, outside area is a solid addition too!”
“This is a fantastic place, for a meal, or for drink or two. The menu is varied, the quality of the meals is amazing, they are very tasty and a very reasonable price. My favourite is the steak pie, it is something else, full of meat, and like other choices very enjoyable. I have taken my elderly mum several times, it’s firm favourite of hers and mine. I also enjoy a good night out with friends there, the drinks menu is varied, and the atmosphere friendly and welcoming. If I could give this place more than five stars, I would, it is that good.”
