“I explored this place in the sale, which makes must of it affordable, outside of the sale I couldn't afford to tempt myself! I must say the clothes are beautifully made, very individual, but not whacky. The staff were friendly and helpful, all totally beautiful, and a pleasure to converse with the one pressing stock by me showed an interest way beyond required. It fits perfectly in the Winchester brand, expensive, exclusive, modern, but not for most people, well I should say not afford by most people! Shop the sale and bag yourself some beautiful is my advice!”

“On our way home from a stay in Bournemouth,we decided to make a pitt stop. It took just over 40mins to get here, navigating through the village of Lyndhurst and numerous wild ponies. The hotel and surroundings are magnificent with views of the New Forest as far as the eye can see. But as impressive it all is,we are not here for that. We are here for the food of Hartnett Holder & Co. Angela Hartnett & Luke Holder are in charge of the kitchen here,serving Italian influenced dishes. As we were early we managed to get seated on the terrace in the glorious sunshine with our doggies. While admiring the surroundings a member of staff brought out a bowl of olives and nuts. We ordered a couple of zero alcohol Erdinger beers £11.(driving). Menu wise,there was a choice between the bar, a set lunch and an A la Carte. We chose from the bar menu. Risotto Milanese £16 Saffron infused, aged parmesan & butter. Spaghetti Bolognese £15 Somerset Saxon Chicken Milanese £20 Lemon,parmesan & rocket. Cornish Fish £30 Tenderstem broccoli, lemon & green leaves. Chips Skinnies £7 Although we were full,we could not leave until we tried the Tiramisu £15. Everything we had was just as expected. Simple dishes, beautifully executed and full of flavour. With lots of parmesan to add. We didn't get to see much of the inside of the house as doggies are not allowed in. Hence that's the reason we dined outside. But we did get first class service and enjoyed every minute of our visit. Thank goodness the weather was on our side.”

“Went to the Bell Inn today for an afternoon tea. Arrived early but the staff were very obliging and seated us 30 mins before the afternoon tea started. I’d asked in advance whether my sister in law could have plain cheese and ham sandwiches as she doesn’t like any salads, pickles etc. Her sandwiches were perfect. Along with mine, the cakes were delicious as were the scones, lashings of clotted cream, yummy. Would definitely recommend the afternoon tea as The Bell Inn.”

“Arrived as an early walk-in (before midday) as our toddler was hungry. Paulo went out of his way to make sure her order was prioritised and her food arrived really quickly which allowed us to then relax and enjoy ours. Food was lovely and Paulo was super nice and kind. Restaurant looked very festive and spotlessly clean. I was also recently here on a work dinner party on a Saturday night when it was much busier - again the food was great and there was a lovely lively atmosphere.”

“Had takeaway for a late night arrival in Southampton. Friendly and very understandable team. We were late for rhe food pick up slot but the food was kept warm. The food was great. I personally love the generous portion of pad thai which went well with the som tum (green papaya salad)”

“Brilliant classic pub, unexpectedly good food, and I mean quality good food, we had squid which can be difficult to get right without over cooking and going chewy but this was perfect, even the salid side dressings which id normally ignore was delicious. We also had about 4 different members of staff come and check everything was ok including the chef!! Really shows they care about the food, Exceptional service would strongly recommend”

“Wow ! Our first visit. We will definitely be coming back. Best roast dinner I’ve had in years. We had a very warm welcome. The outdoor seating area is perfect in this beautiful weather. A great selection of drinks. One of Southampton’s finest ! Highly recommended.”

“I was in the city for a short break with my girlfriend, and we stumbled upon this restaurant around 10 PM. The décor and design immediately caught my eye, and the lounge music created a sexy atmosphere. The service was excellent. The manager explained the menu to us, and we had our meal set up quickly. The drink options and cocktails were amazing. They had a unique twist on classic cocktails that still maintained the essence of their original recipes. I tried the spicy margarita, which was fantastic, and I enjoyed it so much I had five rounds! My partner preferred fruity and sweeter cocktails, so she tried three different ones, all of which she loved. The food was clearly made with love and passion. If you're looking for authentic Asian food in Southampton, this is the place to go. The spices and sauces were perfectly balanced. We ended the night on a high note, staying until the restaurant closed. On a separate note, if you're looking for more privacy, they also offer a private”

“It had been quite some time since my last visit to Wagamama's. Returning to their delightful dishes was a joy. The waitress was not only kind and cheerful, but also well-informed, which greatly enhanced our experience. Their fruit and vegetable juices are a personal favourite of mine. As expected, the food was scrumptious. The service was prompt, and the prices were reasonable. A hugely enjoyable dining experience!”

“Dashed in today for impromptu lunch, friendly welcoming staff and excellent food as usual. I had the lunch offer (12-3pm) which is great value at £12.95 for 2 courses. I had sesame prawn toast with a sweet chilli sauce to start and then a red Thai curry with rice. Both hot, freshly prepared and delicious. Glass of blush large only £7.50! “We had booked a table for 8 of us for a family birthday celebration lunch. Some of our party were late arriving but the staff were very understanding and let us have the table for an hour before ordering our food. James, our server, was friendly and funny and kept us supplied with drinks and snacks until we were all together and ready to order. “An authentic Thai restaurant run by Thai couples. Though the place is small but the food is excellent. Can’t imagine I was in Southampton. It’s just the same taste, the same food with the same sauce you have in Bangkok. This is the best Thai food I have here and the best price as well. A lot better than other fancy decorated Thai restaurants that your money goes to the fancy furniture & decoration while the food is rubbish. Thai Thai Express you should deserve more customers. Keep going!”

The food was lovely; we had the Murgh Shakoti, a new one to us, but was a lovely sauce with generous chicken portions. The tandoori chicken was also very nice and tender. The Mussaman lamb shank and the Penang Beef were excellent, as were our starters, fresh, rich flavours and generous portions. Tik, who looked after us in the restaurant was extremely kind and made sure we were happy for the evening. A really great meal and even better coupled with the relaxing Spa beforehand!”

“Had table for 10 last night for our mum's surprise 80th birthday. No pre order was required so everyone could choose on the night. Choice of normal or some Xmas options. The service was second to none. All drinks brought to table. Sean who looked after us was absolutely fantastic, a joy to have serving us. Made for a fun night and stepped in to take photos of the family. All the food was brought out in a good time, all hot, nothing was forgotten. Clearing service also seamless so a shout out to the young lady who was serving and clearing dishes. We all agreed it was a wonderful evening, lovely clean setting and I'd recommend to anyone. Thank you all at the white rabbit for making mum's 80th special.”
