“Great food and excellent staff. If you are looking for desi food , this is the place you should go. I ordered takeaway - Cheese naan, Mashroom Bhaji and Paneer tikka and was very glad that food came on-time and was quite hot. Highly recommend.”

“I've been coming here for my curry fix for some years now. My favourite is the Kashmir Fruity, which I wish they would do with prawn and not just chicken. This week I had the Royal Garlic King Prawn Payaza, a deliciously savoury dish that was mild yet flavoursome; best accompanied with strong beer. Overall I go for milder curries, which they excel at. Fantastic value for money, and discounts for cash-on-collection. There are 2 websites with "Shah Faisal", the one ending ".co.uk" is the cheaper of the 2 it seems. Inside it's not really a place to sit and eat, it's better than it has been under th last owner, but the seats are more just for somewhere to wait for your dinner. The new owner like to play wierd AI videos on the TV of flowing rivers and stuff! Overall Shah Faisal are good lads and I'd recommend ordering from them. I've even smuggled one of their curries into the football ground.”

“I just wanted to leave a review because of all the bad ones on here! I ordered from Just Eat which had 5* reviews but because I’ve never heard of them I googled them and saw all these bad reviews so I got worried. Maybe because I only live around the corner which I didn’t realise at the time but the food was great. It was hot, couldn’t even touch the keema naan it was that hot! And tasted amazing. Onion bahjis were massive so good portions too, don’t listen to all the bad reviews people love to complain”

“We really loved Kesarum- it has a lovely atmosphere with friendly staff and most importantly, the food is so tasty. Every dish we had was a feast for the eyes and tastebuds. Fully recommend a visit.”

“We had a delightful evening for a group of 8. The staff were excellent and super friendly, we were made very welcomed. The restaurant was clean with good decoration and a had a really nice vibe. The food was excellent and really delicious. I ordered the railway lamb which was recommended and it didn’t disappoint. Keema naan had all the flavour you could hope for and the aloo gobi had a brilliant blend of spices. Just delicious. Really is a delightful restaurant at a fair price. Will go back the next time I visit Winchester.”

“10/10!!!! best momo in winchester and staff were very friendly. service was a little slow but it was friday evening and only seemed to be one guy waiting and running food. Food was worth the wait though, highly reccomend and would like to come back and try the Nepali Thali. Staff also highly accommodating with my preferences as they made me a paneer tikka masala despite the menu options only being chicken and veg. Very good for vegetarians!!! Menu also has excellent allergen information”
