“A beautiful little Place right in the heart of Leek. Easy booking and check in process. We was given codes for entry/access to our accommodation when tea rooms are closed. Plenty of parking locally, reasonably cheap and free after 15.30 on Saturday and free all day Sunday. We found our room very clean and was provided everything for a lovely stay. Bed was comfortable, towels good quality and complimentary showering miniatures. Only slight issue was the TV signal wasn't great, channels not watchable but not a big issue. Staff were all helpful and welcoming in the cosy tea room. We ordered breakfast which was very nice and was pleasantly surprised when told it was in with the cost of the room as we was unaware, nice bonus. Overall we had a lovely pleasant stay and will definitely return. We have since found out they have dog friendly rooms so will be back with our little one.”

“I recently celebrated my 60th birthday, and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue. Lunar closed exclusively for my party, which made the whole day feel incredibly special and personal. It was such a treat to have the entire place just for my guests and me – a true VIP experience! From the moment we walked in, everything was beautifully arranged. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure the night went smoothly. They took care of every detail with professionalism and a smile, allowing me to relax and really enjoy the celebration. The ambiance was just right – festive yet intimate – and the venue itself was the perfect size and setting for my family and friends to gather, laugh, and make memories. I felt so celebrated and appreciated, and many of my guests commented on how lovely the atmosphere was. The buffet was nothing short of outstanding—beautifully presented and offering an impressive variety of dishes to suit every taste. From fresh, vibrant salads to perfectly seasoned mains and decadent desserts, every bite was delicious. Guests are still telling me how much they enjoyed the food, and many went back for seconds (and thirds!). Turning 60 is a big milestone, and thanks to this incredible venue and team, it was everything I hoped for and more. “Had a private function in the upstairs room. Beautifully decorated Great service from the staff, although I did think that one of the bar staff could have learnt to smile more. What I ate from the buffet was nice. Drinks were reasonably priced.”

“Fabulous meal, the best food I've tasted for a long time. Could not fault anything! So much choice, so in the end went for the shallots with ham, the Roast lamb as a main, which just fell off the bone, so tender. And if you fancy a pudding but don't want to be overfaced, go for the small dessert and hot drink. Would definitely go again and recommend.”

From graphic novels and comics to collectable toys, masks and figurines this store has some really cool items to explore. It's a tribute to this business that it has lasted decades as part of Hanley 's subculture scene and if you're in the area it's well worth a visit. Recommended.”

“Extremely dog-friendly pub with extremely friendly staff and locals. Our pooch was offered a huge water bowl, many biscuity treats and tons of fuss. It makes a difference when you enter a pub and dogs are allowed in every area with no restrictions. The bonus was that the food was top notch! Due to it being December when we visited, you did have to pre-order prior to arrival as to whether you wanted to order from their Christmas menu or their usual menu. A fairly full pub meant that we did have to wait 30 minutes for our starters but 15% was deducted from the final bill because of this and the cosy surroundings meant that we were comfortable waiting.”

“We held my friends baby shower at hettys today and they kindly let us have the upstairs room and served us high tea. It was such a beautiful room and we felt very special. The food was amazing and the scones were out of this world.”

“Nice comfortable pub with a large selection of Titanic Brewery ales (brewed down the road in Stoke), plus a couple of guest ales. Had the Totally Leek Burger which was just £7.95 for a very tasty burger garnished with cheese, bacon and salad, along with fries and onion rings - all sourced as locally as possible. A modest portion but really good quality and perfect for lunch.”

“Just came off the M6 to find somewhere to eat and stumbled across this pub. Really glad we did, the Sunday roast was excellent. It defeated both of us! Would definitely recommend to anyone else, and next time we're travelling that way needing food we'll be back.”

“Lovely play area, free of litter and tidy. Apparatus in good safe order for the children to play on. Outside on the grass evidence of dog fouling, which was a shame and spoiled the play for the children, community centre closed no toilet access.”

“I'd decided to enroll on the Ear Microsuction Course for wax removal, and I'm so pleased that I did! Mr Davies and his team made me feel really welcome and at ease. The course was interesting, informative and I especially enjoyed the chance to have a hands-on practical day with real patients. I found the practical aspect invaluble because I experienced different patients who presented with different ear problems, whilst having the safety of my tutor next to me. A booklet is provided with the written theory for good bedtime reading too! I'm not a naturally confident person, yet I can absolutely say that when I'd completed the course that I was excited and champing at the bit to get started with my business venture! Mr. Davies advised me on all of the equipment needed to set up my clinic. Plus...the course came with a certificate and CPD points. Excellent!! Thank you S.P Care Clinic. “We had our wedding reception at Sandbach Town Hall last week. We had everything we needed, and the staff on hand (Molly and Katy) were super helpful answering any questions, and helping to make sure everything ran on time. They were responsive to emails and questions in the run up to the wedding, and were very helpful with confirming all details with suppliers before the day. All of our guests enjoyed the Town Hall as a venue, and the bar was very popular!”
