“By far the best cafe in the area! Every time I come to Bear I never want to leave. Can’t quite put my finger why I love it so much. Is it the ambiance, the acoustics, the decor, the view, the amazing coffee (which takes me back to living in Melbourne, renowned for amazing coffee shops!), the fabulous food or the friendly warm and welcoming staff? Whatever it is, it ticks all my boxes, please keep it up!”

“Poped in on the off chance of a table for breakfast after visiting the Christmas Market. Staff were amazing and sorted we out with a table very quickly (thats a thanks right away) we had the granary breakfast wow... !!! Superb and cooked perfectly by far one of the best I've had in a good while. Thank you to all the staff who were just so helpful and pleasant. “Eggettes is such a gem in Keele! The bubble tea tastes amazing—easily some of the best I’ve had. The shop is cozy and full of adorable decorations, making it perfect for taking photos while you enjoy your drink. It’s a great spot to hang out with friends or just relax. The staff are super friendly and helpful, especially Jesslyn Yeom, who went above and beyond to make our visit special. Plus, everything is really affordable. Highly recommend checking it out!”

“Anna or Anya the supervisor was amazing, great experience, excellent customer service, and fantastic coffee. A couple of weeks ago I approached Anna over a member of staff that was covering for the store whom wasn't that great, but Anna was profffesional, understanding and a good attitude for turning a bad experience into a good one, my partner and I regularly come here even though we live in Congleton and we both love having a coffee here..highly recommended!!”

“Good range of products. Usually have breakfast baguettes or the Grants Big Breakfast, excellent value for money. Can be difficult to get through on the phone to place a collection or delivery order but that's because they are so busy. Would recommend.”

“Absolutely fab place. Booked it for a Sunday afternoon baby shower. Wow, the food was lush & plentiful. We were all stuffed & there was such a good selection of both savouries & cakes. We had chicken croquettes, the most amazing mozzarella sticks, hot & cold sandwiches. They catered so well for one of the group who was vegan. Cocktails were lovely too! Great service & ambience. I look forward to returning & would definitely recommend!”

“I was here around 12.40pm on Saturday 27th September and feel compelled to compliment the young lady with the long ponytail who was single-handedly serving a long line of customers with efficiency and kindness. She was unflappable and I saw her genuine warmth in taking care of someone who clearly had a learning disability, despite the queue. It’s rare to find that hospitality on the high street nowadays. And to top it off the coffee was great.”

“Really enjoyed having a little stop at this cafe for a drink. In the centre of town just off the main area it’s big enough for maybe 25 people with various tables inside and out. Toilets on site and it’s wheelchair accessible too. They allowed our dog in as he was well behaved. Lovely service and very friendly. We had a couple of cream teas with great clotted cream and home made scones - it was a great time thanks”

“Always a great day out. Some great shops within, just wish they would open 7 days a week. It is annoying to find some close Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Both cafes are excellent with great food and fantastic staff. Massive car park but does need lighting in the Winter months as dark at 4pm but open till 5pm.”

“We hired the boat "Molly May" through Waterways Holidays from Norbury Wharf.. We arrived and we met by friendly approachable staff. The Boat was ready to go and was spotless.. We loaded up and Phil showed us all we needed to know, he was very thorough and left us full of confidence for the week ahead. On return we were helped into the boat yard and had to admit to a lost windlass and 2 broken glasses!! The staff were very good about it and didn't charge us and even offered 5% off our next to holiday with them! The cafe and chandlery were also excellent.. Many thanks for a great wk of off grid solitude!!”

“Visit Bake N Butty regularly, as I care for my elderly mum and she loves a cooked breakfast for lunch. Nice variety of foods available, little limited for vegetarians/vegans, but can recommend their veggie breakfast (which is huge!). Salad choices are very good and general menu pretty good for meat eaters. Food always prepared fresh. Place is clean, tidy and the staff are friendly.”

“Whether I'm eating in taking out or ordering the food is excellent the service perfect and the atmosphere amazing the staff are polite and know have to have a laugh I have spent countless mornings there and it's the best part of my day it deserves a 5 star rating”
