βOrdered food for a wedding for 40people. Service was excellent, staff helped us decide on the menu, great communication regarding services and very fair price. Food arrived on time and was delicious. Even had some left over to have seconds. Highly recommend.β
βExcellent restaurant. Very friendly. The food quality was excellent. Very reasoblyeat priced too. The cheesecakes looked very tempting. But I was so full I couldn't eat one. Everything home cooked. The homemade fruits and berries drink was really nice too.β
βHad Menemen for breakfast and it was perfect, perfect amount of spice. Would definitely recommend. Lovely service and price was good.β
βMy husband and I went to see our friend Johny, at his pub in Burslem Stoke-on-Trent, where we were greeted by politeness. It's a very popular place to visit, where you can enjoy your time and the georgous beers that are nice and cool and relaxing.β
βThank you for the most magical holiday. You have created such a special and beautiful place. We feel so lucky to have stayed here. The yurts are so cosy and romantic and the attention to detail is unbelievable. We loved the breakfast hamper and the lovely soap gift set (both locally sourced) The setting is perfect with lots to do in the surrounding areas. Youβve a created a paradise in Staffordshire....canβt wait to return very soon! :) Hannah and Grahamβ
βVery nice friendly pub. Great staffβ
βAbsolutely the best fish and chips, with homemade tartare sauce! The owner is passionate about I his business, and had time to chat with us while he was freshly preparing our meal. The portion was generous and it was the tastiest we have had for very many years. Easy to access from the canal so great for you if you are boating. I Highly recommend!β
βExcellent meal this evening. Staff were friendly and efficient, plates warmed and napkins replaced automatically between courses. It's the little things that make a difference. Now for the food. Absolutely stunning presentation. Starters and mains both looked exquisite and tasted sublime. Large portions and good value for money. It really does make the evening special when you have food that tastes good, looks amazing and is served by staff that are friendly and attentive. Thank you. Highly recommended and we will be back!β
βTasty food! Best by far Italian in Leek, the pizza and the tirmisu was amazing best one I've had in this country, service was great and the atmosphere was very good !β
βHad a double bacon and cheese oatcake a tea a coffee and large slice of homemade cheese and onion pie.The oatcake was light and fluffy and delicious bacon was cooked perfectly and cheese was lovely. First time in this oatcake shop and will certainly be using it again.β
βSomeone recommended this place. They were right. It is excellent. Lovely chips. Good service. Go there.β
βKeep passing Tracy's van but reminded myself to stop off today - real glad i did, fabulous bacon and egg barm served by the lady herself. Stop off - you'll be glad you didβ
βWeβre new to the area and have been enjoying the occasional breakfast here for a few weeks now. Itβs a quirky, unassuming village cafe run in a friendly, polite and efficient manner. The food is awesome: hearty, tasty and cooked with care. Great value for money, too, which is the cherry on top. Weβll continue to enjoy our brekkies at The Corner House (followed by a long stroll around the Mere!) and recommend others do, too.β
βI went to Lloyds a couple weeks ago to discuss weight loss medication options as I am overweight but not obviously, I have been struggling the last couple years despite calorie counting, running, swimming and weight training. Spoke to the pharmacy Ben and he suggested Monjaro but I have a huge needle phobia, he understood and even showed me what the pen looked like and the size of a needle used. I couldn't face it then so I went back Monday and the lady behind the counter suggested to come back to see Ben again to discuss further and she would put a Monjaro ready but no pressure if I decide I can't do it, very reassuring. I went back today, terrified and had a weight consultation with Ben, again he was very understanding and patient, talked me through everything and I finally did it, as he suggested, I did it myself so I know what to do for the next jabs. I am so grateful for his support, help and patience with me, couldn't of faced my fear without him. Thank you!!!β
βLovely cafe. We stopped in for lunch yesterday, and they were extremely helpful at accommodating my husband's multiple food intolerances, making it feel like no trouble at all.β
βI've stayed here twice & would highly recommend it, Rural location (on a farm), en-suite accommodation with access to a fully equipped kitchen. The accommodation is located in a separate detached building, which is next to the farmhouse. It's very clean & a freshly cooked to order break to set you up for the day. There's plenty of parking, I once turned up in a very large van & parked no problem.β
βWe visited the Combermere Arms as a group the night before our wedding down the road at Combermere Abbey. Everything was fantastic! The team were wonderfully accommodating after we had emailed to make arrangements. The food and service were fantastic and we were so well looked after. The menu had a brilliant range of dishes with lots of gluten free options (1 coeliac guest) and we would definitely love to visit again to sample more. The vibe of the pub was just lovely and the atmosphere was perfect.β
βWent for the New Yearβs Eve dining experience and have to say it was superb in every way. The food serving was excellent, the setting, second to none with great service, attentive and courteous. Congratulations to all. This is one of our favourite places!β
βStopped for a meal and a quick pint when passing through. Was extremely busy there were enough staff to ensure nobody is left waiting. Staff were all extremely pleasant and welcoming. I really enjoyed the food. A deveng variety. J went with my partner and kids - all are fussy eaters but there was something for everyone. Prices of meals varied between around 15 and 18 quid, steak a bit more. Really good value for money with the quality and size of the meals providedβ
βWe had not been here for 15 years and still the best Chinese we have ever been too. The menu has changed slightly. They seem to have reduced what's on there and no more prawns available on the start out of any form which is disappointing but the quality of all the food was fantastic and what they have got on there they have really nailed. What was really nice is there was no arguing about wanting more. I think some of us ate four cheesecakes each which sounds excessive, but it was the best cheesecake I've ever had and I'm not even that big a fan of cheesecake. They were really good with the kids, especially the two that wouldn't have anything off the menu. Jane was very friendly, although all the waiters and waitresses were fantastic. Only negative is we did end up having to be asked to leave so they could get the next table in which when it's Β£30 ahead each can feel rushed although he had been there for at least 2 hours so I do understand from their perspective. Either way I would highly recommend!β
βGreat food and service Loved the Guinea Fowl with Orange & Cranberry Sauce The veg was generously sized and al dente Hats off to the chefs ! Fantastic variety of Unique Ales and Wines Iβm not sure who sourced all of these ales but theyβre very resourceful lol I loved the Bitburger shandy ( low alcohol but very fruity taste ) Will definitely revisit soon Ps the High Leigh locals are so so friendly as wellβ
βLovely friendly pub, great staff, great selection and quality of beers and some excellent food. Relaxed but higher-end gastro that welcomed us despite having been out walking all day. Will definitely go back!β
βWent in to meet a friend for tea and a chat. Good parking and access. Greeted warmly as soon as I got in the door by friendly and welcoming staff. Good service, great food and cakes. Will certainly go again!β
βWe visited yesterday for a family wedding and we were made to feel very welcome from the start. It is a super wedding venue and the staff were very organised and ensured that it all ran very smoothly. One member of staff who stood out to us was Sophie. She was so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble for her. She served the canapΓ©s in a very efficient and friendly manner. The following morning ( today ) she served us with a delicious breakfast and was as helpful as she had been yesterday. She certainly stood out to us but I will add that all the staff worked efficiently and calmly throughout the day. Thank you for a lovely day xxβ
βAn absolutely beautiful 7 course meal. We couldnβt fault anything. 5 stars βοΈ isnβt enough for this fantastic place. My only one regret is, all the staff signed a birthday card for Lucy, and she forgot to pick it up. She was gutted on our way home.β
βLoved this place. Our first time there for just one night to celebrate our anniversary. Will definitely be going back as we both felt so relaxed there. Beautiful settings and garden, great for heading out on a walk. Decor and ambience just lovely. Food was excellent (and not 'messed with' as my husband would say!). Our room, which was upgraded so very kindly and much appreciated, was brilliant. Wonderful views from large double aspect windows. Thank you.β
βPerfect service, nice menu, good price, friendly, dogs friendly... Parkingβ
βBooked a table for 3 for lunch on Friday. Tim greeted us and made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble from start to finish. He even took photos for us. The food was delicious and the service was great as always. It's such a lovely place to go and eat and then finish with a walk around the shop or the garden centre or both. Just love Jackson's Nursery.β
βCouldnβt really fault it. Excellent beer, great service. Traditional style pub very close to the train station. Friendly to away fans. Will return if ever in stoke. 40 minutes from the football ground.β
βStay and room was amazing, staff cannot do enough for you! Chefs taster menu was incredible. Eva and Gemma in the Spa are fantastic and made sure we had the best time!β
