βFood was phenomenal, service was great, atmosphere is lovely. For the quality and quantity of food, price is very agreeable. Steak was juicy and flavorful. Would have had a dessert but was completely stuffed. Thank you for the memorable lunch.β

βWe have visited this restaurant on two occasions now both times for the pizza which is very tasty and a good size. We normally go around 3.30 / 4pm on a Sunday as it's not to busy and enjoy a seat by the window. The service is good but I did feel it was a little rushed this last time as maybe staff were looking for something to do. Sorry who wants to rush on a Sunday?? That's why I have given 4 stars.β
βThe outside area is a good place on a sunny day.β
βWe came as a family group of 6 and a toddler for a 60th birthday party on Saturday evening. The food and service was excellent. I donβt know the name of the waitress but she was exceptional. It was very busy but she still managed to be efficient, calm and find time to listen and talk to us in addition to having to rearrange the tables for another party. Our booking was under the name of Shaw so please thank the amazing young lady.β
βGreat cinema, very helpful and friendly staff. Nice and clean. Very comfy reclining seats. Highly recommendβ
βLove this place for a lunchtime sandwich and drink treat, when I need a break from work. Family run business, with home from home atmosphere and cooking.β

βWe stopped over at this cafe while on our way to a hike. Although the cafe was full, staff were very friendly and had time to talk. We had the coffee and a cake and it was nice. Plenty of parking onsite and the washroom facilities are cleanβ

βGreat food and lovely country pub, had a delicious steak and ale pie followed by a brilliant apple and raspberry crumble with custard ! Very tasty food and good value portions.β
βBeen to the Old town vaults a few times. Always great well kept ales. Called in on a Saturday afternoon in September. I had the Joules peach lager for the first time. Was a well good tasty ale. The pub was fairly quiet as to be expected in the mid afternoon. Music at a respectable volume. Will be back again soon. Keep up the good work.β
βI recently just moved to Crewe and have been meaning to try different fish and chips and came across this shop as it was closer of a walk than the ones in town. I think I came around their busiest time because there was a queue and they ran out of haddock. I ended up getting the large cod and chips as well as the mushy peas. The large cod was definitely a large (I couldβve opted for the mini portion) and they a generous amount of chips on the side as well. I enjoyed the fish and chips. They were both tasty considering I still had to walk back to my place to eat them. The fish itself was seasoned well even with just salt and vinegar. I surprisingly enjoyed the mushy peas (I asked for coleslaw initially which they do not carry). I can see why thereβs a queue at night as it was delicious. I hope I get to try their haddock next time!β
βHeard this was the best chippy in Crewe, I'm happy to confirm that it absolutely is.β
βHad a private function here and it was a great little pub, friendly staff and the choice of ales was brilliantβ
