“Me and my puppy completed the puppy school course with Steve. The course was very enjoyable, structured lessons delivered in a way that was easy to understand. My pup is also booked in for home boarding for a couple of weeks in August and had her assessment day last week. She had a great time and was exhausted afterwards. Steve and Maria are lovely and it is very clear they have a passion for what they do.”

“We took our eight and a half month old puppy Banksie to Scruffies on Saturday for his first full groom; I’d previously bathed him myself a couple of times but he was ready for a haircut. Carrie & John are professional, friendly and clearly experienced with dogs they put us and Banksie at ease from the word go. When we went to collect him , not really knowing what to expect, we were delighted. He was obviously comfortable with them because he was happily playing, and he looked , and smelled absolutely gorgeous right down to the little bow that had been attached to his collar. The horses always have the best standard of care, Mike and Nick are ALWAYS on hand to help with anything - nothing is too much for them. They have been extremely helpful to me after my horse needed nearly a year of rehab work. Cannot fault any part of this yard. The facilities are amazing, the stables and fields are extremely well kept, all the staff are knowledgeable and willing to lend a hand if needed.”

“I had a corner room with 2 windows, the room itself was quite spacious and decorated very tastefully. The toilet/shower lacked decent ventilation and so had a heavy kind of smell before they were used. The traffic is also rather loud from the room as quite a few loud bike/ cars went past throughout the night. The breakfast service was good but could have been improved.”
