“It took us just nearly 4hrs to walk all around, including some sit down breaks and time to enjoy the views. We were blessed with a wonderful weather to enjoy the beautiful views. We had great time. Make sure you have wear comply footwear or even hiking boots as some of it was quite hard going and our feet and legs were hurting by the end. I would recommend and will most likely return it the future.”

“The Dingle is an absolute gem in the heart of Shrewsbury’s Quarry Park. Once a quarry, it has been transformed into a beautiful sunken garden with colourful flower beds, water features, and a peaceful fountain. It feels like stepping into a hidden oasis—calm, serene, and full of charm. The planting is stunning in every season, and the history behind it makes it even more special. A perfect spot for a quiet walk, photography, or simply to sit and enjoy nature. Definitely one of Shrewsbury’s highlights!”

“We went to see the Christmas decorations within the main house. There's no extra charge for National Trust Members but you still have to book a time slot. Absolutely fabulous displays with really interesting info boards to explain the function of each room at Christmas, and some very clever themes applied to the decorations. Fun activities for kids, some very enthusiastic and knowledgeable volunteers to support the visit. Well worth a look if this is your kind of thing”

“Beautiful park next to the river Severn. Riverside walks, children's play & water parks. Great cafe next to the leisure centre. The Dingle Garden is full of interesting plants and a pond.”

“Great place to take the kids with parts for all ages. With the quarry right next to it for picnics and ball games it's a really good location. Would be better with cleaner toilets but the same could be said about anywhere. At least this park has toilets. Good amount of seating dotted around makes it easy to sit and watch the kids playing. Overall great place to go.”

“Took my daughter here today for the tots swimming session, its a lovely little pool, nice and warm and the changing area is adequate enough. I haven't used the gym facilities but from what I've seen it looks great for a quick workout. The staff were friendly and the place overall is great.”

Have been coming for 15 years and my children have grown up with the facilities, something for the whole family to benefit from at every age. I’m a member and use the classes and gym facilities too, for a fraction of the price of alternatives in town.”
