“We having had a meal from here for a while, (maybe six years or more, having moved away and now moved back to the village. at one time my favourite was Mongolian crispy lamb, I am going back about twenty five years) anyway thought we would try it again, the meal we had was excepitioal. House fried rice nice and fluffy rice and all the meats were all beautifuly freshly cooked and with the sweet and sour Hong Kong Kong style chicken, this had a really nice sharp and tangy taste, both I would definitely have again.”

“Dog friendly and very relaxed. The staff were very welcoming, and friendly. There was a great atmosphere within the pub itself, we had a great couple of nights. We would recommend staying here, I can understand it is not everyone’s cup of tea due to the nightlife, but we had a great time. Our room was lean, the shower was amazing, great to ease those aches and pains. Clean and fresh towels and bedding. Although they had a couple of staff not turn in for work, it was not noticeable. We enjoyed our food on both nights and got a good nights sleep on both nights. Thank you for making us feel welcome. We would use again if ever in the area. X”

“I took my son and his children last night for food. I cannot praise this pub restaurant enough. Staff lovely friendly and helpful. The menu is amazing. This is restaurant quality food. All home cooked my soup n had the half rack ribs , granddaughter lasagne and i had sea bass with garlic potatos truly outstanding. We have booked for Sunday lunch ! Please support this amazing hidden gem you wont be disappointed if i could give it 100 Stars I would. Also kids menu good selection.”

“Found this gem while searching. Fantastic pub roast and a nice find. Was board of sane old comercial chain roasts and wanted a good old pub one. And could not fault it. Just to much veg. Kids menu also good. 8 yr old had kids roast. 4 year old chose good old chicken coujons me expecting a few frozen no problem he loves them mash and gravy. Well how wrong 3 home made goujons and way to big for him he managed 1 of them and we had to try eat other 2.”
