“Stopped by bassa villa for a drink by the river seven. A lovely pub filled with history. Its also a b & b above the pub. Outsude is a court yard filled with benches so u cam sit on a summer evening watching the world go by while listening to the river and the wildlife.”

“Stayed here for two nights. Easy walk from the train station and an easier walk back to the town centre. Great location with a 24 hour McDonald's 2 minutes away for breakfast or late night grub. Room was spotless and very comfortable. Shower room was fine, I had a bit of a mission trying to get a stable temperature in the shower the first time I used it but I strongly suspect other guests were using theirs at the same time and the hot water system was struggling. Second time was fine. Nice little garden out the back to sit with a coffee and listen to the birds. Entry codes were provided in plenty of time and I was made aware of the need for photo ID and a refundable security deposit well in advance. If you read your T's & C's there are no hidden surprises with this place. Very impressed and will definitely book again next time I am stopping in Wolverhampton.”

“Amazing Stay at The Larches – 10/10 Experience! I had an absolutely fantastic stay at The Larches in Wolverhampton. I have to say the customer service was exceptional—friendly, responsive, and made the whole process seamless. The room itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had a warm, homely feel. The bathroom was equally impressive, super clean, and well-equipped. All the instructions for finding the property and accessing the room were very clear, which made check-in easy. Overall, it was a perfect experience from start to finish. I’d highly recommend The Larches to anyone visiting Wolverhampton. Definitely a 10/10 stay!”

“Through work, I stayed at Kingswinford for 3 months. Rooms were great, I stayed in quite a few rooms. Staff were attentitive, friendly and on the ball !! It was almost home from home ! To the managers and staff, I would just like to say a huge thanks, over the last 3 months, been away from family ,having great service and good food, clean rooms, and a great atmosphere, made the stay very nice and welcoming. “I have given 5 stars because as we were only at the hotel for one night the couple of little things that were not perfect we didn’t highlight to staff. They were the plug for the bath that only kept water in if I kept my foot on it and the toilet seat was in need of tightening up so it didn’t come off. The room was a great size and very comfortable, nice to have a footstool to use with the chair. We had an evening meal in the 1779 restaurant and the food was very nice.”

“Nice little venue the staff were friendly and let me know where to set up the magic mirror photo booth. Was bright a drink across as they could tell the heat was killing me off slowly. The wedding room looked amazing and the scenery was to die for. The room was abuzz and the DJ amazing.”

“This is the nicest, friendliest hotel i have stayed in. All the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Michelle in particular stands out. She works on reception and is so friendly and chatty. Extremely helpful and always has a smile to welcome you through the door. The staff in the pub next door are also super helpful and friendly. They really do everything to make it a home from home. “Hotel: easy to find via postcode and a lot of retail shops close but. Car parking: really easy to park with plenty of spaces. However, seperate to hotel but reasonably priced. Overall experience: receptionists were amazing and went above and beyond to endure I had a comfortable experience. I was greeted with a friendly smile from Bejja and also Fatima whom both equally share the same devotion to their work. Only downside would be the room of 508, the shower head needs descaling but that doesn't deserve a drop in stars... Thank you Premier Inn an amazing stay”

“It is a beautiful building with great character. As an accommodation of Hostel type it is well cleaned and maintained. Great location as museums and Ironbridge is not far from there and the hostel is perfect for group overnight stays.”

“This hotel although didnt have a bar or lounge area was very good. The rooms were modern and clean the bed was comfortable,reception was very helpful an all round great place to stay if you just need somewhere to sleep. It was also reasonably priced. I would definitely stay again.”

I eat gluten- & dairy-free & they went above & beyond, providing a fresh GF bread roll, cooking part of my main course from scratch, & even creating a custom strawberry cheesecake (off-menu) for dessert. I've never been so well looked after! Highly recommend this venue for their attentive, knowledgeable staff & accommodation of dietary needs.”

“Our family have just spent a wonderful 5 nights onboard Maddison. Our daughter-in-law was apprehensive about spending 5 nights on a canal boat but she now thinks she could live on one! Maddison has everything you need and more. Brevic and Michele are brilliant owners who have gone the extra mile to make sure anyone who hires Maddison won't be disappointed. We loved the little extras like teabags, coffee, sugar, cooking oil. Maddison is spotlessly clean and so obviously loved and cared for. We'll definitely be back and possibly try out a different route. Thanks for everything. The Grainger family”
