“I bought a cot mattress from Smyth's Forestside a few weeks ago, unfortunately when I brought it home it was not true to size and left a dangerous gap of about 6cm between the cot and mattress. I contacted Smyths customer service over the phone and they sent me a form to fill in with details of the incident and photos of the gap measurement. Smyths customer service was excellent and fully investigated the matter and contacted Smyths in Forestside on my behalf who then provided me with a replacement mattress if my choice. When I returned the faulty one, the staff in Forestside were already fully aware of the situation and provided excellent customer care. Monica in the Nursery section of Smyths was very friendly and helpful. I am delighted with the replacement mattress. Thank you for all the help, my 1 year old is getting a great night's sleep thanks to all at Smyths.”

“Stayed here a few times for work. The rooms are varied but the last one I had was enormous and very cosy. The cooked breakfast is excellent too, the food was good quality. However the continental breakfast was a bit lacking, better pastries and some more dietary options are needed! I had to ask specifically for non dairy milk (come on, it's so common) and no non dairy options on the table for yoghurt or milk.”

“Great soft play even for crawlers. Staff very good at ensuring that only those under 2 stay in the baby and toddling area, same applies to the under 4 area. Ensures safety for all kids. Changing facilities clean. Plenty of highchairs. Staff super friendly. Helped me bring highchair over to where I was sitting.”

“Took my son to Next at Abbeycentre to buy a suit for a day at the races. Great selection of styles. Good fitting rooms, spacious shop. Best of all was the service from a lady named Lyndsay. Despite being very busy, nothing was too much trouble for her as she advised my son on style, fit and even contacted another branch when his size wasn’t in stock. Highly recommended.”

“I took my 2 year old son yesterday morning and he easy given free toast and juice I think that's an excellent thing to do. Staff very friendly and experienced none of these young ones That can't handle certain situations with kids. All our children love this place and one is asking for their party to be here next year for their birthday lol! Clean and tidy place great food and great service”

“My son is almost 6 and this is one of the only soft play places that he doesn’t get bored of as he’s literally grown out of most of them. Last week him and another kid accidentally bumped into each other and he bust his wee lip. Despite being extremely busy the staff noticed right away and were very kind, immediately getting him an ice pack, an ice pop and a voucher for a free visit next time. Well done on the friendly service and welcoming playplace you’ve made for local children. ☺️☺️☺️”
