“I can’t thank Vets for Pets West Bromwich enough for the incredible care they gave to my cat. He had a very poorly eye that needed surgery, and the whole team were outstanding from start to finish. The facilities are spotless and state-of-the-art, and every staff member we met was kind, patient and genuinely caring. They explained everything clearly, kept us updated throughout, and treated my cat as if he were their own. His recovery has been amazing thanks to their skill and attention.”

“Despite my parent’s dog being registered locally with another veterinary practice and me ringing during their opening hours expressing concern that the dog needed to be seen urgently, I was declined an appointment. I was left ringing round and Shepherd’s Vets came to the rescue with an Out of Hours appointment at home to sadly put to sleep their dog. The visiting vet and nurse were compassionate and caring and I can’t thank them enough for their support during what was a difficult and heartbreaking position. The only vets locally to do home visits and I will transferring my cats to their care to ensure I don’t have a repeat experience of being declined an appointment in a pets hour of need!”

However, I did notice that there are fewer counter staff than before, as some checkout lanes have been replaced with automated robots. While I understand the efficiency benefits of this technology, I do miss the personal touch and interaction with human staff. Overall, I had a great experience shopping at this supermarket. The wide range of products, convenient location, and loyalty program make it a great choice for anyone in the West Bromwich area. While the reduction in counter staff is a drawback, it's not enough to detract from the overall positive experience. I would definitely recommend this supermarket to others and will continue to shop here myself.”

“I just visited the Oldbury store. I have a bad back and it started locking when i was in the store. I was approached by a nember of staff who asked if she could help. This lady was so thoughtful and helpful towards me. She got me some tavlets and water helped me with my shopping. She foumd me somewhere to sit till the tablets worked. She even offered to help me home. The 2 ladies at the swlf server were great too. They scanned and packed for me offered to get me a taxi. It was brilliant to see such kimdness. Thabk you”
