“My daughter is 2.5 year old and has never left me. I was very anxious about sending her to nursery but knew she’d benefit from the social aspect. The staff at hopscotch have gone above and beyond to make her feel nurtured and safe. They give each child the care and attention they need whilst also running group activities that are fun, engaging but always have a skill being taught within. I am extremely grateful for the support my daughter and I have received in this transition and could not ask for a better environment for her to be looked after in.”

“My son has been at Hopscotch since he was 15 months old, the staff have been absolutely wonderful and caring towards him. The facilities are fantastic and I strongly feel my son has had a great and enriching experience throughout his time with the Portland Road site. The key workers, Debbie and Sian were so warm and friendly to deal with and I always felt he was in safe hands with them, however that being said, all of the nursery staff that I have met Taylor, Leah, Alex, to name but a few have all been wonderful and a credit to the nursery. Highly recommend.”

“My 16 month old son attends Bluebell Barn. We have been absolutely delighted with the nursery. The staff go above and beyond, they are so nurturing and really want to see the children blossom. Our son's gone from a very timid baby to a confident young toddler and I have no doubt that it is from starting nursery and the support he's had. I echo all the 5 star reviews below!”

“We set an appointment as we were feeling quite overwhelmed with the amount of items we would need to choose, and the information we didn't know (first time parents ). We were so lucky to have had Cynthia meet with us! She was organised and methodical in her approach, as well as so patient with our million questions! We also appreciated her approach to providing us with advice as we weren't met with the typical sales-y way of just trying to direct us to get whatever is most expensive; instead - she asked us about our lifestyle and expectations/requirements from the items we were looking to buy and provided her input based on that. We're not going to buy the items today, but know that when the time comes, we'll be coming back to this store and asking for Cynthia specifically!”

“We called in for coffee as we were visiting a nearby property that a relative is buying. This is a large pub - plenty of different seating areas. Very friendly helpful staff behind the counter. I would guess that this is an independently owned pub - you don't get service like this in a chain! Very attractive "pub classic" menu. I can't wait for the purchase to go through so that we can all return here for a meal and some drinks. Community pubs like this are increasingly rare. The coffee was good and surprisingly cheap. Thank you!”

Martin introduced me to the pressure measuring bed which helped in the choosing of the right mattress for me, and Martin gave me great advice and helped to narrow down the huge choice of bed frames too. “Both of my girls go to the Nest in Hanover and they always come home with a smile – they have really thrived in their care. The staff are kind and communicative, and they make an effort to keep them stimulated with exciting activities. We find the Famly app really useful for receiving daily photos and feedback of what they have been up to.”

“I used both sites of Elan for my son and will do the same for my daughter. As a key worker I have been exceptionally impressed with the service they have provided throughout the recent pandemic. They really have put the childrens (and parents) needs first, ensuring they are happy and safe, taking into account social, emotional and education needs. Great leadership from the relatively new manager and consistent first class genuine care from the nursery team. I currently cannot fault them. Thank you Elan as my daughter always look forward to her days with you.”

Now, almost four years later, she's about to 'graduate' from Pre-School 2 class and embark on her school adventure. Sunshine Nursery has played a pivotal role in our daughter's development, and we couldn't be more grateful or enthusiastic in recommending Sunshine to others. The facilities are outstanding following last year's major refurbishment, featuring spacious, modern rooms and a beautiful garden. Throughout our time here, every staff member we've interacted with across all units has been exceptionally friendly, supportive, and professional – both towards us and our daughter. Communication has been excellent through the app, with regular updates, child assessments, and informative parent evenings. This positive environment is underpinned by a strong and present management team. Our daughter has made some wonderful friendships at Sunshine, and we have no doubt her time here has thoroughly prepared her for school – socially, physically, and educationally. The curriculum is impressive; she constantly amazed us at home with her newfound knowledge and experiences, whether mastering numbers and letters, exploring the wonders of space, or witnessing baby chicks hatch in the classroom. From regular yoga and dance sessions to exciting outings to the beach, park, or library, Sunshine delivered an enriching blend of hands-on learning, play and fun. To the entire Sunshine team, we cannot thank you enough! Please keep on doing what you're doing. We're all going to miss you!”
