“My first time visiting Argos in Hayward’s Heath. Customer service officer - Chloe saw me looking a little puzzled by the ‘tablet’ and immediately came over introduced herself and proceeded to help me find exactly what I needed. She was polite and extremely professional - her customer service skills outstanding - well done !!”
“A warm and friendly welcome from three different receptionists really made our short stays at the beginning of December and on Christmas Eve 2025. Mary, Vicky and Mihaela( hope I have the spelling correctly) were amazing. We had a lovely room with a balcony, overlooking Brighton seafront, Brighton i360 and the West Pier(remains of). Our room was very large with a lovely en suite, a coffee machine, kettle and fridge with complimentary snacks and drinks. Sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee looking at the seaside was such a treat. The breakfast room is in the style of an American diner, overlooking the seafront and serving a great range of breakfast with premium jams and spreads. Our evening meal was of a good quality, especially the pizza and haddock and chips. Bar staff were always incredibly friendly. Location is great, a very short distance to Preston Street with it's huge variety of restaurants and close to Western Road with it's amazing range of shops. I agree with Hannah about slight wear and tear, but like her, I prefer to look at the positives and there were plenty.”
“Wow ! This hotel is beautiful. They have kept all the original features and it's stunning. We'll presented modern rooms with underfloor heating. Restaurant has a great menu and the service is very attentive. Breakfast was as you would expect lots of hot and cold choices including pastries. Pool area is lovely. My only complaint about the pool is disabled access to changing rooms is difficult if you can't walk well but they do provide a disabled loo / changing room on pool level as a back up. The pool changing area is a bit dated but I'm sure they're getting to that you can see they've done a lot already. My mum loved it she wants to go back we went as a birthday treat.”
“Seen quickly by gentle and caring staff! My 10 year old son was referred here for a blood test. Naturally he was a bit nervous but the staff were very understanding and prepared for worried patients. I was tempted to dock a star for the car park which is a bit confusing and over crowded but that would be mean.”
“Very close to the coast and all amenities. 12 min walk from railway station. Usual large comfortable bed, bathroom smaller than a lot of other's I've visited but adequate. Two lifts to 8 floors.. Nice bar on ground floor where you have breakfast although a Spoons only 3 buildings away if you're on a budget.. All in all, a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, £40 a night in Brighton! Bargain..highly recommended”
“Mason was honestly brilliant! He was really friendly and helpful from the start, and made everything super easy. He helped me find what I needed straight away and made sure I left happy. You can tell he actually cares about doing a good job. Great customer service — thanks, Mason !”
“Absolutely incredible experience! We took on the Trapped for Cash escape room and had an amazing time from start to finish. The puzzles were clever, the storyline was engaging, and the whole room was packed with fun surprises. Our producer, Abi, was fantastic—friendly, enthusiastic, and brilliant at setting the scene. She guided us perfectly without giving too much away and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this escape room to anyone looking for a fun, challenging, and memorable. We’ll definitely be back for more!”
“Twilite / Opulent managed our AGM, providing cameras, speakers, microphones, and management of a Teams meeting, etc. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Extraordinarily professional and friendly and very reassuring. Our event went without a hitch and was stress-free for me as a result. We received numerous unsolicited compliments from attendees on the high quality of the sound and video for the event. We will definitely be using Twilite/Opulent again next year. Thank you to Wayne and the team for truly exceptional service.”
“Hannah face painted at our daughters 21st birthday party. It was fairy themed and the face painting was perfect, adding a magical sparkle ✨️ A few weeks later we received a lovely thank you card and a beautiful photo, such a wonderful personalised touch. Would definitely recommend xx”
“This is an absolute must visit for anyone in the area!! We absolutely loved it, The attention to detail here is amazing and some of the puzzles were so much fun to solve. The host (Julia) was also very kind and helpful towards us and even gave us tea and chocolate!”
“A great night out with friends, the comedy was amazing and had a really good dance afterwards. Just to say that I don't think I've come across a venue with such lovely staff! The bar staff and DJ were so friendly. The bouncers were so lovely with one checking that we knew where we were going as we were leaving, making us feel so safe. Thank you guys! And thank you for playing Chesney, lovely DJ!”
“We had a fantastic time. From the start our host Jonah made the whole experience super fun and enjoyable (he was a real superstar!). The room itself was excellent with great styling, props and various puzzles including two crawl spaces that my kids loved. We have been to quite a few escape rooms in different places but we all agreed that this was the best experience we have had. We left super happy and relaxed (when some escape rooms can leave us stressed and agitated). Jonah also helped us out with a perfect lunch recommendation before sending us on our merry way. Overall, this was brilliant”
“Fantastic store and a brilliant stockist. Em and Gary have been so welcoming and positive in stocking my products, l love selling there. Neighbourhood store is a must to visit and shop, lots of brilliant makers and artists selling there, lots of variety and styles. Love it x”
“What an incredible experience! David, Izzy and Quinn were outstanding and ran the Acid Bath Experience for us, the immersive nature combined with the challenging puzzles made it such a memorable and unique level of entertainment. We will be recommending this to everyone we know! Thank you team”
“Excellent escape room. We had a go at Onewing Airways and it had a good level of difficulty and varied and interesting puzzles. The set design was fantastic. Also our host / helper was fantastic. We'll definitely be returning to have a go at one of the other rooms.”
“A great escape room experience. They have a variety of rooms (we have tested two so far and aiming to go back soon!), including one for 2 people only, which is a very nice addition. The rooms are well thought out and are perfect for a relaxing morning/afternoon with your family for the time being and friends whenever things allow it again. Lovely people running it - great imagination and covid safe! Thank you so much again for a lovely afternoon!”
“We had an excellent time playing Mega Bite. Everything at Clue Cracker is first class. The complexity, theming and attention to detail within the games is brilliant. Looking forward to visiting again in the future for more family fun!”
“My son has been attending the nursery for around 6 months now - in this short time we can already see the positive impact the nursery is having on his confidence, motor skills and early education. The nursery itself is in a great setting within the park and a 5 minute walk from the beach/library, all which the children visit regularly. Pictures are sent throughout the day via WhatsApp which is a lovely personal and reassuring touch! The staff are all so friendly and attentive on pick ups & drop offs nothing is too much trouble for them. Overall, a big thanks Brodie, charley & team for giving my little one the best start into his education :)”
“A great little escape room set up minutes from the airport. Had a friend in town so a few of us dropped in to kill a few hours. The bank robber game was brilliant and the host super welcoming!”
“We had a brilliant evening here. A delicious curry, followed by waffles and icecream (be sure to let Jane know your dietary needs ahead of time). And then a wonderful performance by the incredibly talented Nick Pynn. It’s a special place, and we felt very lucky to receive Jane’s warm hospitality. Dinner, entertainment, a round of drinks and a bottle of wine came to £45 per person.”
“Our host kitty was amazing and so helpful! The escape room was fun and intense thoroughly enjoyed it for my 19th birthday with friends!”
“Went to the escape room for a fun afternoon with my grown up kids, it was brilliant. The host was great, really fun and have the odd helpful hint. The rooms are atmospheric! It was £20 per person which I thought was ok. Great time, I would recommend it!”
“I've been goalkeeping for 20+ years and never have i come across such a great product and reliable service. Would recommend to anyone in the market for a new set of gloves!”
“Legendary & Iconic Beach We came to Birling Gap as it is an iconic site to visit in the UK. It is a beautiful place & particularly nice to visit for families. The views are incredible & stunning. You can see the sea and the chalk cliffs and here the sound of the crashing waves. Access is not so easy but it is well worth it. At the end there is a parking (paid) but no other option. It is also a pebbly beach but that was not really an issue for us. Birling Gap is a great day out, well worth a visit and the perfect spot to come and see the seven sisters.”
“Have done two of the escape rooms here and had a great time! Chloe is a wonderful host and adds to the whole experience. Definitely recommend doing one”
“Such a good venue, very Intimate and you great a great atmosphere. Staff are friendly, also a little place outside to get some food before the gig (within the grounds of The Factory). Been here multiple times now and it's just a little hidden gem. Always great artists, local bands too and they keep brining top artists along. 100% recommend.”
“What a lovely friendly gem this is. We booked this as a one night B&B during our South Downs walking holiday. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely ( I judge by the quality of the sausages, they were great). I would certainly highly recommend staying here, we were sadly unable to experience their cream teas mainly due to our own timing of arrival and departure. It's a lovely friendly village and we'll be coming back at some point.”
