“Not just for one meal but going there since refurbishment totally consistent the greeting from Hannah (Land Rover girl) and the rest of the staff, the food that doesn’t cost a fortune and is way above the average pub standard and good value. “Best curry house in Brighton. We order here every time we want Indian cuisine. Food is unbelievably good! Always full of flavour and never disappoints. We order directly through their website where the food is better priced as opposed to just eat. Delivery is always quick within an hour and is always hot. I highly recommend the chicken madras, it’s delicious. The aloo gobi is incredible. Real authentic tastes in everything you buy from here. Highly recommend Bhindi’s. If you want bland tasteless curry then order elsewhere”

“Nice french cuisine - Visited with my family, kids enjoyed their time at the restaurant. Good food well presented but bit expensive for the quantity they served. Staff is very friendly and attentive around the table all the time. We didn’t liked the mocktails which we ordered, but staff understood and changed it straightaway. My wife liked her starter King prawns and my Garlic mushrooms was yummy. Main course we had Chicken Burger and Leffe beer battered fish which was delicious, would recommend others to try. My daughter spent her time on solving the puzzle and drawing Chilly Billy. Desert we tried Hot chocolate fondant and Creme brulle which was good. Would visit again and recommend to others who like to try french food.”

“Filakia is a Greek street food place in Tunbridge Wells that has been serving up Greek street food for over 10 years, and have recently moved their premises to Cassidy's sports bar in Tunbridge Wells. The menu features a variety of Greek eats which includes souvlaki wraps, gyros wraps, and box meals, as well as a selection of vegetarian and vegan options. I recently had the pleasure of trying Filakia for myself, and I was not disappointed. I have the mixed meat gyros box meal consisting of chicken & pork gyros meats served with pligouri (bulgar wheat), a portion of pitta bread, fresh salad, with a garlic veganaise dip. The portion was generous and tasty, with different flavours in each bite. In addition to the delicious food, Filakia also has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere within the pub which is a great venue to watch live sports. The staff are always happy to help with recommendations or answer any questions you may have. The food is also very affordable, with most dishes costing less than £10. Overall, this is a great place to get your gnashers in to some lovely street food whilst watching a game of rugby on the big screen. The food is cooked with love and care, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming.”

“I recently visited The Crabtree in Shoreham-by-Sea for a pint, and it was a pleasant experience. The pub has a welcoming, traditional feel with a friendly atmosphere. The staff were attentive and made sure I felt comfortable. I enjoyed a pint of their local ale, which was perfectly chilled and flavorful. The ambiance was relaxed, with a mix of locals and visitors enjoying the cozy setting. Whether you’re inside or in the garden, it’s a great spot to unwind. Overall, having a pint at The Crabtree was a delightful experience, and I look forward to my next visit!”

“Booked in for 1 night and paid £350 for a room without breakfast included (wow) (without a balcony) which was such a shame as we’d walked 12 miles to this hotel so we could have a room looking over the beach. The room we actually got was a large well designed room in the roof of the second floor. I went down to ask if we could swap rooms and it was a stern no. They are all booked. Fair enough, slightly moody receptionist. But our evening got exceedingly better as Nathan served us in the restaurant on the veranda and he was such a lovely man. So attentive and actually cared. We had a really lovely 3 course meal with cocktails because he was so good at his job. I actually wanted to eat elsewhere because I didn’t think the lady on reception gave a hoot about our stay. Thankfully we didn’t, the chicken skewers were so good and the fish was moist and fluffy. Really good chef. Cheese board was a delight and the chocolate dessert. Scott enjoyed an old fashion and mojito all really great quality. Nathan made our day by being funny polite and just really good at what he does. Thank you”

The food was fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with care – everything from the starters to the mains tasted amazing. Prices were also very reasonable, especially for the quality you get, which makes it a great value spot. If I had to point out one thing, the atmosphere wasn’t quite as charming as the food and service – it just lacked a little warmth compared to other Italian places I’ve been to. That said, it didn’t take away from the overall experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!”

“This was a great beefeater. After doing the cycle for BHF yesterday we came here to celebrate the day along with fathers day. The waiting services were great and the overall food was good. While one of the steaks was a little gritty, the quality at which it was cooked was perfect. Additionally, the vegetarian and vegan options were cooked to a great quality. The alcohol was nice, not overly pricey for a restaurant and the fathers day special came well done and well presented. A slight misunderstanding on the bill was quickly explained and we were quickly reassured that everything was fine. Overall, a great beefeater to enjoy a nice dinner at. Highly recommend.
