“Given the lack of good reviews for G4 I thought i’d share my experience. I’ve lived in one of their student houses since July and can’t say a bad word about them so far. Eleanor from the repairs team has been incredible: she’s dealt with all our repairs issues swiftly and is super friendly! “Just back from a 2 night stay at this gorgeous hotel for a pre 70th birthday treat with my husband. I've stayed here a couple of times before and I will definitely choose this hotel again and again. The rooms are super comfy and clean, the staff are amazing and the food is well worth staying in for. I really can't fault anything about this hotel. Come and stay and be treated to old world charm and hospitality.”

“Stayed here as a large group of friends, the place is under new management and therefore quite hectic at the moment, but the manager was so incredibly helpful and helped us so much with anything we needed, including extra duvets etc!! The place is old, however, so windows are a bit draughty but a heater was provided in the room and once we used that, it was very toasty!! Beautiful sea view from the room, could not recommend this enough if you’re a young group of friends with somewhere cheap needed to stay!!”

“We are staying here currently and we were a bit worried beforehand after reading all the bad reviews but honestly I believe people’s expectations are way too high. You really are paying for what you get, so if you would like a 5 star hotel then that is what you should go pay for. The rooms, while yes, dated, do what they are intended for. The hotel is located right by the beach so there is lots to do and you only really need to sleep here so the hotel is perfect for that, especially at the cheap prices it has. The shower in our room had the best water pressure I have ever felt and the beds are comfy. The rooms are very clean also. The staff are lovely and very helpful, so thank you for that. And again, to reiterate, the reviews here appear to be left by people who have high expectations for an affordable hotel. We would definitely stay here again!”
