βBeen coming for years now every time i visit England and i absolutely love this place. Ashley is an amazing host. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great too. Cant wait to be back on my next trip β€οΈβ
βI'm so used to eating chapatis that are thick as a carpet and it was a delight to find a proper thin whole-wheat roti here.(I bought a few extras to take home and freeze). Paneer pahadiya and chicken pahadiya were flawless and the side dishes were all also excellent. No batch cooking here, all freshly prepared and with interesting careful flavours. The owner is a sweetheart and very gently hospitable. This is one of those hidden gems- don't miss it if you appreciate authentic south Asian food. Extremely reasonably priced too!β
βAn amazing meal after a long day of hiking! We were seated right away upstairs, our server was kind and welcoming, and the food arrived promptly. We shared the siu mai, chicken satay, lemongrass shrimp, and tom kha soup with mushrooms added. Each dish was more delicious than the last. So grateful to have stumbled upon this gem!β
βItβs a family restaurant so itβs meant they work hard for the name and the food . I ordered chicken tikka biryani itβs was fabulous and delicious i ordered it again the next day . The restaurant was super clean and the staff was always smiling and helpful with your order . The portion is more than enough and ingredients was high grade and amazing. The wifi was very fast . I really recommend this restaurant.β
βWhen we walked in, we first noticed the BEAUTIFUL decor and really calming music! The staff were so friendly and made us feel really welcome and wanted! The food was lovely - we both tried the poached eggs w salmon on toast and the scrambled eggs and pepperoni on toast (which we've never tried before but the pepperoni definitely works!!)- the food was lovely and we were full half way through! We chatted with the staff about their plans for the Panda Lounge moving forward and we're really excited to see the business flourish! We will be back! Thank you for excellent service!β
βGo here, owner is SO NICE!! Great hookah lounge. Great music. Perfect vibe. Really good tea tooβ
βStopped by this place while venturing around βThe Lanesβ with my partner and a friend and what an amazing find (even worth a visit for the coffee alone!) The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive and really made our morning. We only stopped for coffee but decided to stay for breakfast after looking at the menus, our friend opted for the Islas Breakfast which looked amazing (lovely bit of sausage), my partner went for the No Meat Breakfast; both would have given me food envy had my Hash not been so tasty! The food arrived quickly and nothing was too much to ask of the staff. Definitely a little gem and we will definitely be returning!β
βShared a range of starters with my friend, great portion sizes and particular standout was the Tzatziki. Main couldβve done with more seasoning but I would go back to try other mains. Halloumi is out of this world - definitely recommend. Overall a lovely experience and would recommend.β
βGenuinely maybe the best 3 course meal I've ever had, booked the function room for a surprise 30th and was genuinely unbelievable. We had Riccardo (might be slightly wrong) but couldn't have asked for any more. It is slightly on the more expensive side but one million % worth it if you want the full experience. Food and service both 10/10β
βMe and my partner are now aiming to become regulars after 2 visits here! The food is consistently superb and fresh. The owner, 'Chandra', is so lovely on our first visit that he sat us down and spoke us through his menu. This is an amazing place for regular diners but must go place for veggie and vegans- as Chandra is one himself. My Italian partner told me she hasn't had tofu this good before! We also love their coffee, one of the best blends in brighton (they get and roast their single blend Indonesian beans themselves!)- they even bring over fresh coconut milk! Our favourite drinks, besides the coffee, were the sex in the jungle cocktail and tropical jungle juice smoothie. We're also big fans of the green curry (with duck) and panaeng curry (with the lovely tofu) The ONLY thing that could make the experience even better is softer light. It always being bright takes away from the atmosphere, but it's only a minor thingβ
βLovely place away from the crowds and wonderful south facing garden and considerate service. Great portions and presentation. Safe for young children to enjoy and relax with enough shade on hot days.β
βCountry pub vibes with nice atmosphere. Lots of seating inside and out. Food was good but could do with more vegan options. Facilities were good but no hand towels in the bathroom. Staff were good and attentive to the table, I would advise booking, we went on a Wednesday and it was fairly busy at lunch timeβ
βGreat time was had. Lovely wine and incredible food. We were fortunate to use the First table app to get a discount on food. The steaks were cooked to perfection and perfect for 2 hungry people. Would recommend all day longβ
βAn exceptionally good Adana kebab. Easily as good as Iβve had in Istanbul, tender and perfectly spiced. Lovely fresh bread and salad, perfect rice, friendly service. Full marks!β
βLoved the chicken calibrase, flavours were delicious and potatoes cooked to perfection my friend had the vegan rainbow lasagna and said it was delicious too. Our server, Lukas was very polite and efficient.β
βWe visited Bella Italia on a Friday evening a couple of weeks ago. Food was great the staff were really friendly, really grateful for them for accommodating us at short notice.β
βBeen waiting to try the black and cod for over a year finally managed to get there highly recommend taster menu for two service and decor was absolutely exquisite. Food was awesome but definitely be back big thank you Minty and Blancaβ
βWe had travelled from Hertfordshire for a day out in Brighton The atmosphere at the Ivy is excellent a beautiful blend of Art Deco luxury and contemporary style, with high ceilings, vibrant artwork, and that signature lively buzz that makes every occasion feel special. The service is truly where The Ivy excels. Our waiter was impeccable: attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu. Everything was handled with smooth, effortless professionalism, from cocktail recommendations to clearing courses perfectly in sync. The food was excellent we had starters of Crispy Squid and Duck salad followed by mains of Guinea fowl cassoulet and the Queen Scallops and Prawn linguine. The Ivy Brighton delivered a sophisticated and completely flawless experience.β
βIf i could give service 10* I would. I've been 5 times over the years and the manager is just the nicest man you'll ever meet. Really passionate about his job and has this Italian charm about him. The food of course is exceptional with each pizza becoming more difficult to choose because they're all so tasty. Not greasy either which always sits heavy in my stomach. By far, the best branch in the UK.β
βI had a birthday dinner here and everything was amazing!! Food was authentic and the hospitality was perfectβ
βLovely meal at the weekend. Impromptu visit, called ahead about 30 minutes before and they managed to find us a table for 2. Great food, starters, mains and dessert. Filet steak was very tasty. Nice cheerful staff. Nice little place to go.β
βCozy seating, wonderful presentation and incredibly delicious! Polite staff and great Service. The red prawn curry was packet full of flavors and the chili squid was tender and crispy. The duck confit was also excellent and paired really well with the pack Choi and tender-stem broccoli. I 100% recommend eating here!!β
βThe food was really nice, different to what I was expecting taste wise but definitely not bad, the textures were great and we LOVED our drinks. We got vegan churros at the end and they tasted great as well. The service was one of the best ever, our host, Lauren, was incredibly sweet and funny and she made our experience a thousand times better. The reason we went into the place was because of how pretty and nice it looked like from the outside, and the inside was even better. Great lighting, spacious and tall ceilings, and cool graphics all around.β
βCame to Brighton for a day trip. Was recommended this restaurant by a family member who had been before. Nice cosy old-school vibes. It was a sunny, warm summers day, so we sat outside. There was a range of dishes, but we went for the Β£27 for 2 course summer set menu, as it seemed a good value for money. I ordered raw rock oysters as starter. Got 3 fresh oysters which were fresh and juicy. Came nice and cold, with the mignonette and ponzu dressing. Delicious! Another person on the table ordered salt and pepper calamari and even though portion was small, with 3 large pieces of calamari, the taste was amazing and it was so fresh. The fish and chips were crispy and fish was flaky. Though again, could do with a few more chips. Tartare sauce was great! The mussels marinieres was exceptional. The sauce was extra creamy and goes well with chips. For the price of the set menu, its great value for money! Would highly recommend! There was bread that came to the table with delicious mackerel pate. But you will need to pay for a cover charge for this. Drinks menu was extensive. Staff were very friendly. Highly recommend. Womenβs toilet was up some narrow stairs at the top of the building.β
βI had a wonderful experience at Social Board Brighton. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious, and the fast, friendly service made everything even better. We were lucky to be served by the owner himself, which added a special touch to our visit. The atmosphere is warm and welcomingβyou truly feel at home! Congratulations to the chefs for the excellent food and the aromatic, flavorful coffee. Highly recommended!β
βGreat service, Atmosphere and the food was amazing. Would definitely go again!β
βPitch made us feel so special when we came to eat. Due to dietary issues, they created a menu just for us and the meal was excellent. Catered completely for low fodMap, dairy and gluten free and the staff were attentive, relaxed and friendly. We had a fantastic night and have no issues today. Thank you so much for a lovely evening!β
βBest value in Worthing. Had an iiiincredible meal here! The food was outstanding, the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. I expected a hefty bill given the quality, but was very pleasantly surprised! Absolute 11/10.β
βPerfect airport cafe/restaurant with REAL art deco look and feel and panoramic views of the airfield, plus outside terrace to take the sun. We were there for cafe visit and were served by friendly, helpful staff. Good coffees. Tea in teapot and Danish Pastries to die for - ming that waistline!β
βI booked the private dining room for a surprise birthday and it was amazing service, lovely food & great atmosphere! Highly recommend.β
