“Such a fab find! Stayed here the night before an early morning flight and it was perfect. Great host and communication. The room was lovely. We had a double bed for us and single bed for our 2 year old. Very comfy - we didn't want to get out of bed in the morning! Lots of lovely extra touches like chocolates, croissants and fruit. Mini fridge also provided with fresh milk, orange juice and water. Transfers to and from the airport were fast and efficient with no added stress! Nigel was so helpful. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be staying again! Thanks Nige :)”
“Lovely site. Facilities are pretty basic or ecologically friendly but clean. Loads of room. A handmade bench, table and fire pit on each pitch. Best of all free fresh eggs on a morning.”
“We had a great experience with Alisha! She was super helpful and kind throughout the entire process of finding and renting our new house. Alisha really went above and beyond to make sure we found the perfect place. I highly recommend her!"x”
“Lorraine has been absolutely incredible. The service has been more than we could ask. Always keeping me and my partner up to date and making sure that we are always informed and supported the whole way. Doing this for the first day has felt very daunting but we have felt very supported and like we have someone backing our corner all the time.”
“Wow! The best possible experience child could ever have, I cannot express my thanks enough to Abi and Hannah. Over the past two weeks my daughter needed to have four teeth removed for braces, and she was terrified to come in the first time but the amazing care from start to finish meant such a difference. By the second visit I didn't have scared child, I had one that was happy to visit because she knew she had nothing to be frightened of. I wish all children could have the experience my daughter had, then less children would be so terrified of tooth removal. Thank you again”
“We arrived later than planned, but nothing was too much trouble for the very friendly staff at foxholes. The accommodation is spotlessly clean, with modern finishes, underfloor heating and a fantastically equipped kitchen. Now we know about foxholes, we will definitely be back..it's an ideal place to stop over before or after flying from Bristol airport and ensures you get a good night's sleep in fantastically appoted accommodation.”
“Just spent a fantastic few days at the farm house with 7 young adults with learning disabilities and support staff. The location is fantastic, the farm house was amazing and all the staff on the farm we met were so kind. It is a great place to stay.”
“I went to St Lucia to coach girls and women to play netball. The experience was very rewarding; it was well organised, from pre-arrival advice through to the coordinators in market, and everyone was very caring and obviously passionate about the program and the local people we were working with. Support on the ground was exceptional and I always felt safe and supported. I was given a lot of freedom to design my own drills and I had a lot of fun with the kids. I'm a bit older than the usual volunteers (who were mostly university age) but I still felt welcomed and had fun in the free time activities. The beaches in St Lucia are a dream!”
“Fresh Lets were amazing during our final year at University. Whenever we had issues or needed help maintenance were over straight away and Anna made sure that we always had everything that we needed.”
“I did my research on various Bridgerton Bath tours available before traveling there from Chicago, this particular one by Paul was highly recommended with great reviews. My best friend and I were not disappointed by this one in the slightest. Paul was very informative and charismatic and I truly enjoyed his little extra details and information about both Bath and Bridgerton. I would GLADLY book this tour again should I i return to london for a 3rd trip.”
“Gorgeous building & grounds, fabulous hosts, and easy access to bath. Everything that you'd want & expect from a B&B. The included breakfast in the orangery is a nice touch.”
“Clean and tidy, great host, fantastic Japanese breakfast of Rice and Miso. Easy to deal with, flexible. What all B&B experiences should be like. Perfect place to stay if going to Bath races, 5mins in a taxi.”
“The hotel is very pretty set on a reasonably quiet road about a twenty minute walk from the centre of Bath. Big advantage is on site parking and public transport… there is an hourly bus from pretty much outside the door and more regularly a five minute walk away. The hotel is well appointed. The bedroom well decorated, clean with a very comfortable bed. The staff were lovely. A special mention for Francesca on reception and Kaska who popped up all over the hotel and couldn’t have been more helpful. As many reviews have mentioned the breakfast was lovely. One thing we did notice was that when booking it pays to watch the prices… we didn’t… if we’d booked a couple of days later the room would have been at a lower price. Having said that, we wanted to secure the room and we had a wonderful stay and will definitely return (with a close eye on the rates!).”
“Great location as Bath is close by and public transport is really good. Lovely warm and comfy accommodation. Fabulous location and views. Everything you needed and excellent communication from our hosts. Would definitely return.”
“We had such a wonderful experience staying at Hope Place 29B! It was definitely our home away from home. Sam thought of everything, we are back home in the Netherlands and we are still talking about missing our cozy Bath home. Highly recommended! Nagesse & Marcel”
“We stayed at Bath Townhouse this weekend as a party of 7 hens and 1 bride to be, on the ground floor. What a fabulous place it is! It's in a really central location, so we could get to all the places we needed to within 5-10 mins on foot. It has chic decor, plenty of room and an awesome "cavern" area for parties. We were given everything we needed as well. The beds are so comfy I fell asleep immediately!! A must stay if you're going to Bath in a big group. Thank you for hosting us!”
“Saw Ellie to book our holiday to Rhodes, she made great recommendations for hotels and excursions. Will be booking again next year.”
“Visiting for my Husbands birthday for 2 nights and absolutely loved it! The room was so lovely, spacious, smelt gorgeous and over our expectations. The owner was so helpful who we met. We knew the breakfast wasn’t being served before we booked due to renovation, but they had left fruit, treats etc which I thought was lovely. The place is at the top of a huge hill, but we drove down into town and paid to park there. If you don’t mind doing this then it’s not a problem. Would definitely stay there again!”
“Wonderful find tucked away in a residential area 10-15 walk from the town center and train station. Stayed in the twin room which was beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds. The en-suite had a good shower. It was very quiet at night, so we had a great nights sleep. The manager is very friendly, and breakfast is superb. Would definitely stay here again. The B&B is a converted house, so clothing and luggage storage space in the room was a little limited. This was fine for a short stay with overnight bags, but would have been a bit cramped if we were traveling with larger luggage.”
“Beautiful location, the communication was excellent and everything was so lovely! Really happy with our visit :)”
“I had a really positive experience moving house with Wrights. Katy was absolutely brilliant from start to finish — friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. She kept me informed every step of the way and made what can often be a stressful experience feel smooth and straightforward. I’m so grateful for her support and would highly recommend Katy and the team to anyone looking to move!”
“What an amazing stay. It was perfect for our Christmas getaway. The cottage was spacious and had everything we needed. All linen and towels were provided (even for the pool) The use of the heated pool was a huge bonus with the children, 2 communal hours usage and a timetabled private hour each day.. The use of the large games room with a pool table, table tennis, foozeball (and lots more) was great on the cold weather. There is also an outdoor play area. Lots of local walks, the scenery was beautiful The location is perfect for trips throughout Somerset, including Bath, Cheddar and Glastonbury. Esther and Tim are great, very friendly and always on hand. We highly recommend a stay at Moorleaze.”
“My Mum has been at the Hawthorns for a year now and it has been fantastic, such a great location right by the sea. All the staff are amazing, working very hard whilst always being friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. My Mum finds it very reassuring to always have someone on hand for either a question or just a chat. The Hawthorns is very well managed, from cleaning, maintenance and communication to trips and events. It feels efficient yet homely and there is always a buzz around the coffee hub as residents gather for a chat. I now have peace of mind that my Mum lives somewhere where she can still be independent yet has help around if she needs it. Thanks to everyone at the Hawthorns, you do a brilliant job.”
“This is a working farm, but the welcome is warm and rooms comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. A real homely feel.”
“Brilliant weekend here. Stayed in a shepherds hut which was extremely comfortable with lots of those little extras that make it extra special. My only regret was the weather was too warm to light the stove in the hut! Owners very friendly and accommodating, couldn't do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay here again, may try a yurt next time.”
“We had a fantastic weekend stay at Windylands B&B this summer! Everything was perfect-the environment was so peaceful and comfortable, and our room was incredibly clean, making us feel right at home. A huge thank you to the host, Richard, for preparing everything for us and for his wonderfully warm welcome and care. He made us feel like we'd known him forever! The delicious breakfast each morning was also a highlight (truly the best hotel breakfast l've ever had), ensuring we felt completely pampered and at ease.”
“Very friendly hosts. Rooms reflect the charm and character of such a historic building. As such, amenities like a trouser press would be out of place I feel. Wonderful views. Access is via a single track lane up Parsonage Road. Be wary of satnav taking you to care home next door as it did to us.”
“The experience at Zen Thai is incredible. We come most years on our annual trip to Somerset and the food is just outstanding. The service is also incredible, from everyone there but particularly Spencer. You really feel like there is real effort and care put into everything.”
“Four of us completed 'return to the chamber' today for a mini-hen party. It was nothing short of genius! Loved the puzzles and twists and turns. Our Games Master, Lucy, was exceptionally good and guided us when needed. The room was full of bits and bobs and we genuinely felt like we were in Harry Potter world!! Thoroughly recommend to all Harry Potter fans and anyone who loves an escape room. Bloody brilliant!!!!”
“Wow, wow, wow, totally amazing place. Beautiful Inside and out. Lovely location and the accommodation was second to none. We went here for a mini-moon and we enjoyed every second of our time there .. was greeted with a beautiful welcome hamper (which went down a treat). Everything was spotless and well kept. Definitely recommend”
