“Great coffee, great service! I come there every week!”
“Split across 3 floors, beautifully finished & a unique stay in every way. The outside decking looking onto the river tops it off”
“Based on my opinion, Costa Coffee receives high praise for their high-quality coffee, variety of beverages, and friendly service. Their menu offers a wide range of coffee drinks, including classic favorites like cappuccinos and lattes, as well as unique and seasonal options to satisfy any coffee lover's taste buds. Additionally, many customers appreciate the warm and inviting atmosphere at Costa Coffee, which provides a comfortable and welcoming environment to relax, work, or catch up with friends. Overall, if you are looking for a great coffee shop experience, Costa Coffee is definitely worth checking out!”
“We had two flat whites, great coffee! We got lucky and ordered before a lot of people arrived. Got served in good times and sat at one of the tables to enjoy our coffees.”
“Very clean Starbucks. One I didn't know existed. My daughter used it everyday at University. Large seating areas. Not crampt at all like some other coffee shops.”
“My favourite London coffee chain and I've now found it in Bath too. Tucked away on the corner of Union Street, this place is in the centre yet has a calm feel. Standard Soho coffee brilliance; great coffee, chilled atmosphere, modern industrial interior and offers student discount. Definitely worth a visit.”
“Just wanted to say the staff here, on a busy Saturday in December, were fantastic. I was visiting for the day from Swansea for the Christmas market, and needed a break. They were extremely busy, but all managed to cope really well, we all polite, friendly and kept the service fast. Tables were being cleaned continuously, there was someone by the door who was making sure people knew the situation with tables, and there to help people, including someone with visual impairment. I was here for about an hour and ordered two drinks, and they had served around 200 customers in that time. Was even offered a chocolate from a box of heroes that a member of staff was handing out. So well done to all the staff, fantastic example of how to work in hospitality and how to work as part of a team.”
“Just had a lovely weekend away, and stay at the Lamp Post Villa. The room was modern with an ensuite shower, and very comfortable beds. The continental breakfast was included in the price: juice, lovely filter coffee, tea, toast, preserves, croissants, cereals, yoghurt and fresh fruit and set you up for a good start to the day. The location was great, only a 10 minute, pleasant walk to the centre. The b&b offers great value, and the host Carmine was very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.”
“Brilliant little coffee van. I go every time I’m there and or near there. Adam is a brilliant dude as well and a good chat when there is time. This is the definition of support local.”
“You know a cafe is good when there is a queue! Fortunately we only waited 10 minutes to be seated. The food was delicious, service was speedy and the price was very competitive. The pistachio latte was incredible, as was all the food. Can highly recommend.”
“Super cozy and tasty coffee shop! we had a weekend breakfast and it was super fresh and tasty!! Super fast and friendly staffs :)”
“The food was good and the place was nice enough but what really made it great was the service. The people working there are kind and friendly and did their best to make it an enjoyable experience.”
“Colonna & Small's – what a beauty. I ordered myself an iced oat milk latte and it was just the thing for the summer heat. The plain croissant and the chocolate one were both buttery, fresh and absolutely delicious. The vibe is minimalist and it’s definitely a must-visit. I only wish I had more time to sit and work from this lovely café, enjoying their excellent speciality coffee.”
“Really lovely little cafe. We found this place online and loved the look and the vibe. We arrived around 10am and were seated pretty much straight away. Don’t be fooled if it looks full from the front, they do have a few tables hidden around the back. The service was really quick and friendly and the food tasted very good. We had the French toast with bacon and maple syrup along with an order of poached eggs on toast with a side of avocado. The food was served fast but we didn’t feel rushed to eat and leave even once finished we were left to chat until we were ready to go. Overall I’d say this was a great place to stop for brunch.”
“Excellent find. Coffee was outstanding, well worth the visit. Selection of homemade cookies, cakes etc. The choc and banana cookie was really good and much bigger than it looked in the picture here!”
“The most amazing vegan food and the loveliest service! Our two visits here were the highlight of our trip to Bath. The carrot salmon toast was absolutely out of this world - so good we came back again the next day to have it again.”
“We called in here today as we'd stayed overnight at The George Public House. We had a very welcoming reception and really fantastic coffee. It was a different kind of experience too and we will definitely be back. Prices were also very fair.”
“My favourite stop between Bristol and Bath. Absolutely beautiful and a lovely attraction to add to your journey. Cheap prices and a fantastic range of different meals I am stunned at what they can provide! A wonderful place to stop if you're cycling past on the Bristol / Bath Cycle Path. There is also a fantastic charity called wheelers that runs next to the waiting rooms that helps people with accessibility needs enjoy the wonders of cycling, I would highly recommend!”
“Really great venue, such a unique space. Huge room with dramatic sky light. Nowhere else like it in Bath. Coffee & juices excellent. Enjoyed my bacon bap with great hash browns. Young staff but very much on the ball. Recommended.”
“Lovely Afternoon Tea Experience in the Heart of Bath We visited this location for Afternoon Tea and had a really beautiful experience. We arrived around 2:30 PM and were lucky to catch a live piano concert, which added an elegant touch to the atmosphere. The standard Afternoon Tea menu was around £100 for two people, which felt fair considering the amount of food included. There is plenty to eat — definitely more sweet than savoury — but everything was fresh and nicely presented. The service was very kind and attentive, and the interior is absolutely charming. One of the highlights is the back rooms, where the walls display the history of the place and its connection to the Roman Baths. It’s actually linked to the Pump Room, and if you choose to visit the Pump Room and then the Roman Baths afterwards, you can skip the main queue, which is a great bonus. Overall, if you’re visiting Bath and want a traditional Afternoon Tea in a beautiful and historic setting, I definitely recommend this place.”
“incredible flat white and the cookies are the best i’ve ever had! staff were so lovely, lovely little cafe :) side note - the playlist was amazing, this place has great vibes!”
“Great local cafe. Good coffee, wide range of cakes. Good light meal range. Seating inside and uncovered seating outside in fairly quiet side road.”
“Very nice cafe. Really nice breakfast. We will definitely come here again. Clean and tidy place throughout.”
“Went here for my sisters birthday brunch and it was a great experience. The food was delicious and the portion sizes are generous. Good atmosphere and lovely ambiance.”
“In a city full of coffee shops - this one is my favourite. Tucked in the back streets away from the hustle and bustle. Amazing vegan cookies.... Oh and coffee!”
“Honestly a hidden gem for families with children. Plenty of toys to keep them occupied and a very generous menu that caters to their allergies and all at a great price! All the adults had coffee, sandwich, and cake and it was all delicious! The staff were also super friendly and patient. Can't recommend enough!”
“Nice little coffee shop, popped in on our travels for a takeaway coffee. Few seats out the front as well, which was nice as the weather was calm. Lovely Flat white and speedy service with coffees being brought to the table”
“Every time I visit Bath, I make sure I have time to tick off Good Day Café! The staff are super lovely and welcoming. They have so many delicious breakfast brunch meals available, it's always an "umm" and "arrrr" moment when I look at the menu but I know whatever I choose, it'll be heaven! Their sweet treats are the best in Bath, such a big and fun selection of items. I recently bought an eyeball scotchie and the mint scare-ro brownie roll - DIVINE! ❤️ I'd highly recommend the Good Day Café for the best experience and tastes ❤️”
“Popped in early on a rainy morning, so it was quiet. Lovely decor and gentle lighting create a nice atmosphere along with nice music. Lovely Flat White brought to the table after ordering. Was pleased to see laptops were not permitted in certain areas, which is an excellent idea. After all, it's a coffee shop . Nice selection of cakes. However, I was good and refrained.”
“We ate on the patio as it was a beautiful day. The food was some of the best we ate while visiting England. Our waitress was kind, courteous, and made excellent recommendations.”
