“We had our first Christmas party with our new boss's & we had a lovely time waitress called Beth & she had a challenge setting our table. She was on the ball very helpful always polite full of smiles. Hats off to her we were very loud we hope she has a great time working as a waitress it's not the easiest job in the world & I'm sure there are going to be tables that are not as nice as ours. I wish her the best.”

“Really good lineup of pints on tap and food selection. Staff are great and the pub has a very welcoming atmosphere. Kitchen brings food out nice and quick too, the missus loves the chicken wings. 10/10 would visit again.”

“Been here twice in the last 3 weeks for burgers with a group of friends. One Friend described his burger as the best he's had! I had the goats cheese and caramel burger which was excellent. All burgers come with a decent portion of chips and the price is very good only costing £12.45 for cheese burger. Definitely recommend”

“A cosy little pub with great vibes and amazing food! We went for lunch, and the lunch menu had a lot to choose from, and the value for money was exceptional. £10 for a burger and the largest wedges I've ever seen. I had the miso mushroom burger, and it was delicious, the portion was more than enough. Highly recommend if you're looking for a bite to eat as you amble around Bristol :)”

“We recently hired the AlterEgo mobile bar for a charity event and Nigel and his team did such a fantastic job. They couldn't have been more helpful or friendly and I can honestly say that without them the event wouldn't have been the success that it was. Everyone commented on how good the service was and the drinks were very reasonably priced, especially the delicious cocktails. Thank you so much! I will definitely use them again.”

“We stopped here as we were walking along the river and it looked a welcoming place to have lunch. We sat outside overlooking the river as the weather was glorious. We were served by Lillyanne (?) on a Tuesday afternoon. She was super friendly and helpful, we weren't rushed to choose food and we enjoyed a drink before we ordered. Food was amazing, lots of choice and detailed menu. We had the half rack of ribs and the burnt end pork bites which were amazing and served with pickles and onions. We also had fries, tater tots and pit beans. More then enough for a lunch for two and everything tasted great. We didnt have a pudding and we didnt go inside or use facilities so I cant comment on those. Would visit again if I went back to Bristol!”

“Had the Sunday Sharing Platter of three meats. Possibly wouldn’t have if we knew it involved 45 minutes wait. But really great when it came. Cold by the time we finished as the air conditioner was super happy. Staff decent, but a warning of the impending delay would have helped. We could have stood outside. Took a chunk home for my rescue python. Don’t ask. All the best team Miller and Carter.”

“Popped in for a pint and a band were playing "Bombshell" who were amazing! Seemed like a good venue for live music, hope they get more like that, it was really good! The locals seemed like a good laugh too and everyone was having a great time. Friendly staff too and very fast service.”

“We had such a lovely meal here last night with family. The place is gorgeous, they have a good play area for kids and had a bouncy castle out. The outdoor seating area is beautiful with a gorgeous view and the food was incredible, we opted for curries and they were so flavourful and well presented, great value for money. Lovely friendly service too. We will definitely be returning and recommending to others!”

“Came here at 7.50pm they finish serving food at 8pm, fair play they did cook for us. Simple food cooked well at a cheap price. Drinks were good, service very good and the atmosphere was good with friendly people. The worser half really enjoyed his burger. We will call in again”

“Omg… seriously the best steak I have had in a long time. My wife and visited here for the first time on hearing other reviews. We both like a good steak and usually have the ribeye. We both have our steaks cooked differently where my wife has hers well done, no pink, and I have mine medium well. Both streaks were of a nice size and cooked to perfection. The steak comes with a choice of potatoes and sauces. Both with a decent size portion and tasted great. They easily lived up to the reviews that I heard and created the a lovely evening for my wife and I. Service was great and free parking just down the road. Thank You The Golden Lion”

“I live in Bristol and I got recommended this place to try. It’s amazing and il definitely be back. Authentic Turkish food, chefs and owner so friendly and welcoming, waitress very good always checking on us. The meat is very good quality and the salad is so tasty and fresh. The bread is homemade in the shop and is brought out hot! Complimentary Turkish tea and sweet treats after our meals was a great finish to our lovely meal.”

“Amazing experience from start to finish! We were served at the bar by Paige, Mair, Andrea and Keira and the service was super fast, efficient and friendly. Every member of staff made us feel so welcome and honestly couldn’t have done more for us. I had the Chicken Parmigiana and WOW — absolutely unreal! So tasty, perfectly cooked, and served at a great pace. Such a lovely atmosphere with brilliant food and staff. Will 100% be coming back again!”

“Really enjoyed our large family meal here tonight. There was plenty of choice at reasonable prices. Staff friendly and helpful. Service was quick and efficient. all of our food was delicious and served within a reasonable time frame. We happened to be there on quiz night so it was very busy and a bit to noisy for me. There is dog friendly seating areas inside and out also plenty of seating inside and out. Customer toilets, beer garden, free parking and disabled access.”

“Rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need for a stay (including Ironing board, Iron and hair dryer). Food was excellent and served in a timely manner! Although it's on a main road, the car park is easy to access, and very large, and the road noise does not affect the rooms, restaurant, or bar area! All the staff we met, from the receptionist, to the bar staff and servers, and the cleaning staff we met in the morning, were very friendly, helpful and added to a very enjoyable stay!”

“Me and my friends came here on a Friday night. We were worried it was going to be packed but it was just the right amount of people. It was a bit dark and moody which we really liked, they had a live DJ and it was just great vibes. The whole night we just said we love it here. The food as well was absolutely delicious, packed with flavour, leaving us STUFFED. We will be coming back.”

I have always felt the food is the best in the whole of Bath, and to boot the atmosphere has a warm buzz every time we go, the service staff are always really friendly and welcoming. “We had a lovely evening at Cote. Cote has a really relaxed atmosphere. It was great to be able to have a conversation without too much noise. And it was well lit unlike some restaurants where you can’t read the menu with ease. The food was amazing cooked to perfection with a just right portion size. I had the vegan options which there were lots to choose from. The food arrived really quickly as well. The staff were very friendly and efficient too.”

“A really lovely chain option in the heart of Bath. Cosy Club does it's usual formula of providing an off-street Cafe with relaxing vibes and consistent good quality, with the added bonus of a lovely balcony area overlooking the busy square. The food was good, well presented, reasonably priced, and with great options for kids. Coffees were good too, nothing special but reasonably well made. Highchairs were available, and service was incredibly friendly.”

Fantastic atmosphere, putting on great music nights, and great conversation. I would recommend this pub as an excellent place for a drink with friends, or a group night out. “A great little chippy in a quiet little town. We were staying in a village not too far from here and all the local places closed too early. However, Seafood Plus stayed open longer than most places in the surrounding villages and towns. We tried their Cod which tasted great after a long day of walking and sight-seeing in Bath. The staff were very friendly and quick too.”
