“Dont normally do reviews but I had my sons 18th birthday family meal there was 30 of us. here and what a great experience we had from the time we went in till the time we left. We were all greeted with with a friendly atmosphere the stuff couldn’t do enough for us. Food was fantastic and bought out in a good time frame seems there was 30 of us ordered at the same time plus other people in the restaurant too. Big thanks to Lisa hollie and Gary and the two chefs for making my son’s special meal go to plan. Was a great experience from start to finish so thank you very much. Would definitely recommend this restaurant good food friendly stuff good atmosphere.”

“Had the veggie burger with waffle fries. Really tasty burger, bun was high quality, mayo and lecture tasty really good and the patty itself was good. The waffle fries were crispy and tasty. Staff were friendly and service was pretty quick. Cost was reasonable at around £7 for a meal. Would like to see more Vegetarian & Vegan options in the future as I believe they only have 1 at the moment.”

“Went on a business trip was only there for 1night-2days..what a lovely hotel ..i stayed in the blue bell room the bed was so cosy staff were like angels so friendly and welcoming..the breakfast ,lunch & dinner tasted divine I especially enjoyed the sumptuous salmon at breakfast I think. “I went here with my partner for his birthday and honestly, it was one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was just spot on, stylish without being pretentious, buzzing but still intimate enough for a date night. Our host sam was great, you can tell he genuinely knows his stuff, especially when it comes to the steaks. We went for his recommendations: the padron peppers, short rib croquettes, the tomahawk steak, and for dessert, the cheesecake and chocolate delice. Every single dish was unreal. The steak especially was next level, cooked perfectly and packed with flavour. The service felt personal and relaxed, and the staff clearly take pride in what they do. They also catered to my partners food allergy and were attentive throughout. For the quality of food, the atmosphere, and the level of care, the price was completely reasonable. “Wow! So good! Came here for a birthday dinner and had the best time. I’d highly recommend. The food was impeccable, my partner is a vegetarian and had the most amazing dining experience, we usually spend our time in restaurants talking and talking but we were totally silent for about half an hour as we ate. Everything was incredibly delicious, my fillet steak was to die for! However, our favourite part was the incredible service. From the minute we stepped in the hostess was welcoming and friendly, she was so lovely and set a high standard of high quality. Our waitress Meg was incredible. She was very kind and friendly, she really made the night for us. A big thanks to all the staff working tonight, especially the woman who recommended our wine, as they truly made the experience wonderful. We will definitely be back! The staff really do work hard and it shows, everyone was so so lovely. If you’re in the Clifton area PLEASE go to this restaurant you won’t regret it. 10/10”

“Fantastic bar. Very knowledgeable and engaged staff. Fantastic cocktail selection and a great combination of local drinks, spirits and bar snacks. Decor is funky and fun, individual and in keeping with the feel of the place. Highly recommended. Do visit and enjoy. Plus they have Octomore Whisky!!!”

“It's our go to restaurant for steak even though we're not local to it it's worth the trip. Always melt in the mouth steak. Puddings are good too, have had the Creme brûlée and the rice pudding. Big portions and good flavours.”

Just a heads up for anyone with mobility issues: the steps down to the restaurant are quite steep. Overall, a fantastic experience from start to finish!”

“Really good pizza, the shop now takes card payment, so we'll be visiting a lot more :) They also have great food staters, garlic bread, olives, etc The shop also sells earrings, picture frames, from local creators as well as vegetables and eggs, also fresh and local. Lots of outdoor seating as well as a few indoor tables. Well worth a visit if you're passing on the A38 Still a great place and even more desserts too! Still as awesome as ever!”
