“I visited the store with my work shoes which had for some bizar reason sharp points coming through the material at both heels. This created discomfort on a long shift and I needed to put plasters on them and my socks also got holes because of it. I was told that this was possibly a factory fault and it was changed without any issues. Excellent service and after care. Will definitely continue purchasing my work shoes from there again.”

My husband and I were in there for about an hour both trying on a bunch of options and trying to decide which we liked best. There was almost too many to choose from. “We booked a shoe fitting for my 13 month old online, it was very easy. When the time arrived for him to be fitted, he was asleep. I popped into the shop to explain the situation and the assistant, Holly, was very helpful and kind and advised it wasn't a problem, just pop in when he woke up. He woke up about an hour later and we went back to the shop. Holly helped us and was so good with our little one. She knelt down to his level, explained who she was to him, showed him the measuring tool and was very kind. My little one wanted to play with the measuring tool and she gave him the one she had and got another. He kept wanting to switch the tools and she was so friendly and played with him in switching them, whilst measuring his feet. She then recommended a particular type of shoe for him, due to his age and was helpful trying them on with him. She then went further and bought the payment process to us in store, so my little one could get settled back in the pram. Thank you so much Holly!”

“Very nice refit – all sleek, modern, and smelling faintly of middle-class ambition. It’s like they gave the place a spa day and now it’s feeling itself. Staff? Genuinely lovely. The kind that smile at you like they don’t immediately want to go home, which in retail is basically sainthood. The food hall’s looking fresh – proper glow-up. Great fruit selection too. The kind of grapes that come in unnecessarily aerodynamic packaging and look like they’ve never known a bruised day in their life. Shoutout to the water aisle. Yes, water. Apparently you can now get “volcanically filtered glacier mist” from a bottle that costs more than lunch. If your self-esteem ever gets too high, just check the price of M&S’s premium hydration and get humbled real quick. Overall, it’s giving: “we’ve got standards and a loyalty card.” Would recommend, just maybe bring a small loan for the fancy bits.”

The items came in a lovely gift bag which was a nice touch. I decided to return some of the items and Alana (customer rep) responded to my e-mail request immediately and provided me a free returns label. I sent the items back and received a refund on the returned items within 3 days. “I visited earlier this afternoon, and my experience was amazing and I’d like to praise a staff member, Charlie. He was very efficient and friendly when I asked if they had a shoe in a size 5. I wanted to pay with klarna in store and I’d never done it before and he very helpfully showed me how to do it in a way where I didn’t feel stupid. The payment at the till took much longer than I thought it would because I had to verify my bank account. He was very patient in saying “it’s okay you don’t need to rush there’s no one waiting” and he was understanding in the sense that these things happen. I didn’t feel rushed and he made me feel like a very valued customer. Highly recommend this store and the staff are lovely as always :)”

“Excellent service and great choices. Not only are the shoes of great quality but they are very reasonably priced in my opinion. There are different fashion styles for instance Gabor as well as Jones own brand. The staff here in Bath are quite exceptional nothing is too much trouble. They have wonderful personalities and it’s become an event to shop there. I have now bought three pairs of summer sandals and I intend to stay loyal to them. Lucy, Dom and Wendy were helping me and other customers yesterday 19th June.”
