“Went to the civil war reenactment today which was a fun day out with cannons and musket firing and a nice encampment with tents featuring different parts of life in the 17th century. Being right next to the town centre it was easy to nip for a coffee and a bite to eat, in fact as we were sat in the cafe they marched up the street to the beat of the drum! Wonderful event well worth the trip.”
“Penpark Hole is a fascinating cave and a Site of Special Scientific Interest. If you wish to visit it you need to contact a local caving club who have access rights.”
“Great sports centre and an asset to the local community. Great staff and facilities, affordable, clean and open long hours most days. Gym membership is a bargain vs local alternatives.”
“Good clean gym. Classes run by excellent gym instructor's. Reception staff very friendly, cheerful and helpful”
“Enjoy the water exercising. Not usually my thing, but it's a good experience here.”
“Great place with hidden treasure - The Thournbury Clinic which has amazing, kind and knowledgeable therapists and they do such a good job to keep people in good form, ease the pain and relaxed. Highly recommend!”

“Gently heading towards death and decomposition. Will be reborn to shine again in the centre of town.”
“A peaceful haven on the edge of a lovely Bromley Heath community. And a productive orchard to pick apples and go blackberry picking with a grandchild.”
“Lovely area to sit and chill when you visit Weston. We come once a year for a day out and just love it”
“Have only used the main pool a few times recently. All good except for the showers. The water pressure has been consistently awful. This makes it difficult to rinse off even a small amount of shampoo on very short hair. Staff very pleasant.”
“I have been coming here for years right up until I moved to Cardiff! Today I came back to Bristol to visit, met some friends here for some pool. It looks like things have been revamped and refurbished. Fantastic place just wish this was in Cardiff”

“I would like to say a big thank you to 2 of your amazing fitness instructors Sally and Jess. Not only have they helped me with growing my confidence going to the gym they have also encouraged me to do some classes and helped me with my fitness journey. They are an absolute pleasure to do their classes, they are easy to approach and are helpful with any questions and an asset to your company. Thank you so much Sally & Jess Vicky x”
“The place is fantastic, the swimming pools are big, there are like 3 of the. The swimming classes are finally something real, teachers seem to care. The staff im reception is very nice. They also have an inflatable in the cafe, so kids love it.”
“A fantastic walk up Solsbury Hill, Bath”
“Nice place for weekend or afternoon walk with family. Close to town centre.”
“It's a beautiful place teaming with nature. An abandoned trout farm with surface water pools amongst watercourses and thick vegetation including in Summer stinging nettles and hawthorn sloe fruit, blackberries etc. I saw alot of birdlife including a pair of red kites, bussards, ravens, swallows & house martins. It's surrounded by lovely open countryside including open wheat fields where hundreds of wood pigeon eat the crop's seeds.”
“I was lucky enough to give birth to my first child at Cossham birth centre last May. All of the midwives and staff went above and beyond to make the experience as relaxing and comfortable as possible. I gave birth naturally with no drugs, spent basically the entire time in the tub and gave birth to my baby in the water which is exactly what I wanted. I gave birth at 4pm and we were allowed to go home at midnight that same day. The rooms are a mix between a hotel and hospital, it's such a nice atmosphere in there. I have heard they may be closed or at risk of closing at this would be such a shame. It's an incredible building to give birth in and I wouldn't change a thing. Thank you so much to all the staff there, you're all amazing! Xx”
“Lovely place for walking the dog and enjoying wildlife.”
