“I just looked online to re-book with Cotswold Lake Houses for next summer and we were shocked to see some negative reviews. It feels as if we have been somewhere else altogether. We all had a wonderful week in this beautiful countryside! As part of a larger family group, we rented both Sandpiper and Beaver Brook. Both houses were very well equipped and the welcome goodies were a great way to keep the kids busy whilst we unpacked. So much to do on the estate! The kids would say swimming was their favourite bit of the holiday, for me it would be sitting on the balcony at Sandpipers, watching the world go by over Somerford Lagoon. It was Heaven, I have not been put off at all, we definitely will go back there this year.”

“Omg the fish was beautiful, the best fish and chips I've had in a long time . The inside eating are very clean and tidy service excellent. It's cash only tho folks so be prepared. Toilets available clean and tidy.”

“Inarguably the best pub in Bristol, and one of the few remaining real pubs this oddity city has to offer. It hasn't been redecorated/refurbished/ruined... so retains the warmth, charm, and reassuring character, that a pub should offer. The clientèle is varied, all ages and vocation, and the mood is very chilled, you don't get the sense of being an imposter like you might at some local haunts. They offer brown drink, brown snacks, and the odd cheese sandwich. If you require any other form of sustenance, then you might have missed the point of your excursion. The service is friendly, warm, and fair. They also boast two pool tables, and a dart board... apparently this is a standout feature of pubs in this dystopian arena? Either way, this pub delivers on all fronts, and has been a joy to frequent. 10/10 from me.”

“I had a lovely stay at The Malt House, when visiting for a wedding at Berkeley Castle. It's a great location for walking to the castle. I had a very generously sized room and the most delicious breakfast! Although the hotel and location were great my absolute favourite thing was the staff - everyone was so kind, warm and welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a good stay and made me feel so comfortable while staying by myself.”

“We had a very pleasant stay here over a weekend in October 2024. There were 10 of us so had to book the Deluxe apartment and a three-bedroom house too. It was very easy to coordinate with the staff and checking in was a breeze. They showed us the parking spaces and briefed about the gate operations too. The rooms, sitting areas and the toilets were very clean and well-kept. Bread, milk, butter, jam and cereal were available too for breakfast. This place is located in a nice area surrounded by a lot of greenery and farm animals. Definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a calm stay at a reasonable price”

“I had the pleasure of staying at Hiding Space Bath UK and I must say it was a truly exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the attention to detail and the warm welcome I received from the staff. The room itself was beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed and plenty of thoughtful touches that made me feel right at home. I especially appreciated the little kitchenette area, which was stocked with all the essentials for making a cup of tea or a light meal. The location of Hiding Space Bath UK is also fantastic - just a short walk from the city center, with plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby. And yet, despite its central location, the room was incredibly quiet and peaceful, making for a great night's sleep. Overall, I can't recommend Hiding Space Bath UK highly enough. “Very happy with Spring Wharf. The staff are all incredibly nice and very helpful when you have any kind of issue. It's the ideal location for someone who travels a lot for work like me as you have the peace of mind that everything is being handled for you in your absence. I have recently moved out of one apartment and into another and the process was really smooth e.g. getting the deposit back, communicating with staff about the handover etc.”

“Good size room with a nice seating area, small dining area and a good size kitchen with all the commodities you could expect. Bathroom was nicely done out and the toiletries provided were really nice. The location was perfect. Bath is a small city and this was in a great location for the attractions and for bars and restaurants. We found the soundproofing very good and any noise heard was from other residents within the corridors. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others staying in Bath.”

Accommodation is a fusion of old and new mixed with a bit of quirky and heritage charm, extremely comfortable, we loved everything about our stay . “Amazing, comfortable and relaxing stay. Everything needed was provided and at first I thought that lack of WiFi would be an issue for me...but it wasn't, infact it enhanced my stay. As an avid walker it's in great proximity to the park, Cotswold way etc...I will definitely be back in the future. Loved it”

“I was here for a wedding that was happening at Priston Mill, this was a nice stay for a few nights. The view was beautiful in the morning. The shower is hot and the fridge was full of options (fruit, juice & pâté). If you are coming from A367/ B3115 slow done, it's a sharp left and you can miss it”
