“Went here with a screw in the outer rim of my tyre quite close to the closing time and the guys still managed to fit me in despite already having three people in the waiting room. They took my car into the back for what I was expecting to be a tyre replacement, only to have my car back within minutes after they advised me it was luckily a tiny screw which hadn't penetrated anything. I felt silly that I'd wasted their time but the young gentleman that I dealt with was lovely about it and they didn't charge me anything. Based on my experience I would definitely recommend them and will return here in future as a paying customer. Thank you so much”

“I first used Mardy Motors because they were within walking distance. Now I'd stick with them even if I moved to the other side of the city. They work fast and well. Never had an issue trying to book a slot for an MOT, and when my car broke down outside what Google claims their hours are, they told me to bring it in straight away. They're upfront about costs before replacing parts and their prices are fair. Parking can be a little tight when they're busy, but every time I've had issues with this, someone has come and pointed out a suitable spot to me.”

“I was extremely impressed with Kwik fit Newport when I went to have the tracking and wheel balancing done on our car. Someone had told us that the tracking looked out and to get it sorted so booked in with Kwik fit Newport to get it done. The checking service was free and when they examined it they said that there was nothing wrong with the car and we didn’t need to go ahead with the repairs/work. Friendly, efficient, and professional, and I couldn’t fault the work at all. The only downside was waiting over an hour and a half for the new shoes to be fitted with no coffee machine available. Come on Kwikfit – bring back the coffee machine (maybe even a little snack box too) for those longer waits! Thank you again for the excellent service – you’re amazing.”

“I would like the staff who looked after me when the RAC dropped my car off on 14th November 2025. It was left there overnight my clutch went they phoned me next day. To say they'll look at as soon possible. I phoned them back because I had warranty with another garage. They phoned back and said i had a in my number plate and didn't know if they did it. They said they would replace free of charge and take my car to the garage. I was shocked they phoned me about the number plate not many garages would do that. Thank you boys”

“I just wanted to commend and thank Jayden for his help yesterday. I had a problem with the pressure in my tyres and the warning light on my dashboard. He very kindly took the time to check them and adjust the pressure for me and reset the dash warning. I didn't know what to do. So it was fantastic to be able to just pop In as I was passing and to ask for help. I was in Weston for work and was concerned about driving on the motorway with perhaps a tyre problem. “Rim motors is one of those garages that are situated just off the beaten track. The boss is not too afraid to get his hands dirty and work as hard as his staff. He has a few youngsters there learning the ropes. Plenty of experience though to help them. Huge place plenty of bays and I was totally impressed with the level of service I got. Reception friendly but close the door if you want to keep it that way in this cold snap. Prices keen. Greggs around the corner. Will be visiting this place again and possibly forgetting places that do not match up to it. Recently visited again nothing has changed. I like places like this that does the job and does it well.”
