“I absolutely love this place! The halwa puri is hands down the best I’ve ever had – fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared every time. “My husband and I got chicken tikka wraps and meat samosas from here all the food was bursting with flavour, the chicken tikka wraps where cooked fresh in front of us and the staff where lovely and polite. We will definitely be ordering from here again and we highly recommend them”

“Made a last minute reservation for 5pm on New Year's Eve. For visit since it reopened as restaurant within The Red Lion. Lively deco , very clean , excellent welcome. Great menu with interesting Indian dishes as well as British and Italian food. We just had a starter and main course with side dishes and it was delicious. Full of delicate spices and not too hot , just right. A thoroughly delightful meal. The staff were attentive but not overbearing and served each dish with a broad smile , making us feel almost at home. The restaurant was fully booked from 7pm but they let us finish our drinks in the bar/ restaurant area up until we left at 7pm. What seemed like a boringly quite evening turned out to be just what we wanted. A return , with friends will be booked very soon. Highly recommended.”

“Always top quality dishes, full of flavour and staff are friendly. The menu is quite unique and the restaurant is very clean and modern. We always enjoy a meal here and it is definitely one of the best in South Wales. The price is also very reasonable and you will think you’ve enjoyed this much more than certain Indian restaurant in Cardiff that cost you twice as much but give you half of the portion. Prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality and portions. The staff were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, and the ambience was warm and welcoming. “I'd been a regular customer at the fabulous BC since the 90s, but hadn't visited for a few years after a house move. We came last night as a group of five and I'm happy to say that it's every bit as good as it was, with the same superb standard of food and hospitality as always. To achieve such a consistent level of excellence over such a long period is testament to Mo's dedication and his own personal high standards. He's the heart of the place, but the whole team should be commended for making our visit so enjoyable. There's not much point in mentioning the food, you just need to know that whatever you order, it'll be delicious! I definitely won't be leaving it so long to come back!”

The service was good and we never had to wait long to order more drinks etc. Despite being early on a Monday evening then Restaurant was busy. Always a good sign.”

“Been wanting to try Lahore Kebabish for ages and it didn't disappoint. The tikka wrap was delicious and a meal in itself, great value. The lamb chops and tandoori chicken are excellent, and I'm so full I haven't eaten my keema naan yet. Strong recommend.”
