“Service is really friendly. The amount of food you get with the Thursday deal is incredible for the price. Quality of the food is also great, and the menu has a real good range of options. Definitely recommend visiting this place”
“Absolutely fabulous meals. We went for my son’s 21st birthday and we were not disappointed Rafi our waiter was superb and when he found out it was Bens birthday he came over with a bag of gifts for him. Thank you we had an amazing experience and the service we received was over and above.”
“Visited King Balti on Saturday (7th September) and was really impressed. The staff were really friendly and were really good with our children. The food came out very quickly after ordering and it was really delicious. The meat was a high standard with very few grisly/fatty bits and the curries were very tasty (keema rezala especially... yum!). I think we have found our new local curry house :-)”
“Food is fresh and tasty. Service always attentive. One of our favourite places to eat as a family.”
“The restaurant is pretty and the food here is delicious. Good to sit down and eat. The Indian food is very special and suits delicate appetite.”
“I went to Chilli Flames on Monday 17th November 2025, and met this awesome man Atif and some amazing colleagues of his. Everything from the service to the food and the cleanliness of the restaurant was spot on. Especially the service. Food was in filling and big portions, great value for money! Definitely going back sometimes soon. Thank you Atif and team!”
“Lovely meal, well packaged, Delicious”
“Lovely range of food friendly and very funny staff that made this a lovely evening. Our taxi driver recommended here as one of the best in Weston. They seem to be doing a roaring trade in Takeaways. Restaurant and Takeaways for delivery and collection. Accessibility - reasonable staff usually around to open the doors. Disabled loo downstairs and toilets upstairs. Veggie v Carnivore - I'm a veggie and had a good choice. My cousin the carnivore loved her chicken. We are both a wuss (coward) for really spicy food, everything clearly chilli marked for pungency! I did not spot anything marked Vegan, but I'm sure if you asked they'd point out the Vegan options. A note on the menu to inform them re allergens. Toilets - disabled downstairs and main upstairs. I was not able to look into the disabled to check it out as it was locked.”
“I have ordered from Rahies several times in recent weeks. They are consistently 5 star quality and service with very reasonable prices and delicious food. Very competitive with other local Indian takeaways and definitely my new favourite.”
“I was very happy that this place serves chicken halal. I had food here while visiting Cardiff, I asked the guy and he suggested these loaded fries w/chicken n lemon sauce. I honestly loved it. Thanks.”
“Having had many great takeaway meals from there and recommended to friends who now all use regularly, had a sit down tonight for 5 people... Absolutely fabulous, great food, great service and top value. Our favourite in the village”
“Ordered through JustEat today, food was running late but received a really nice call from owner apologising for the delay and giving complementary drinks. Apparently today was a busy day, these things happen! Really appreciate the great customer service, and once food did arrive, was really delicious. Nothing like a good Indian on Saturday Night!”
“My husband and I have a lovely anniversary meal here. It was amazing food, friendly staff, disabled friendly, and amazing value for money.”
“We visited last week for the first time. I have to commend staff they really know how to look after there customers.. spent lots of time with us explaining what was in dishes we didnt know about and were overall very friendly and helpful. Food was lovley and my experience overall was perfect. Thank you so much 10/10 from me”
“Excellent. We use their delivery service on a regular basis. The food arrives on time with a smile and is always piping hot. The food quality is excellent, we have never had a bad meal. In our opinion, perfect.”
“First time trying food here and wont be the last. Ordered a hot chicken curry with 1/2 rice and chips and naan bread. The food was outstanding and was very well-cooked and seasoned. The nanny bread made fresh to order too... Only thing I'd say are the staff are not the happiest or most welcoming of people. Maybe they can work on being more polite and happy?”
“Tried Curry Hut last weekend with some Malayali friends, and we all agreed it’s the best place in Cardiff for South Indian style spice. The mutton curry reminded us of nadan curry from Kerala, rich with coconut and perfectly spiced. Their kottu roti is something different but still familiar, almost like Kerala beef fry with parotta mixed together. If you’re a Malayali missing proper heat and homely food, this place won’t disappoint. I've tried other places in Cardiff but by far this is the best Kerala food out there.”
“Your food is very tasty, I like your food very much.”
“Delivery arrived on the dot, excellent polite service, the chicken portions are absolutely huge, came with free mint sauce and poppadoms, food piping hot, A star for this new restaurant :)”
“Pleasantly surprised to find an establishment such as this with a 5 star hygiene rating. . On entering we were not disappointed. The welcome from Alan the manager was genuinely warm and we felt reassured when he asked if we had any allergies. The place was clean and kept clean regularly. The food was hot, fresh and consistently topped up. Good quality and tasty. Will definitely return and recommend to friends”
“One of the best Indian takeaways we’ve tried so far! Good portion sizes but slightly more expensive than other Indian takeaways. Still, it’s worth the price.”
“Great takeaway. It is our go to for Indian food in Cardiff. Good selection of unique/special curries, as well as the standards you'd expect at a takeaway in Britain. They have a good website you can use to order so you aren't paying fees to deliveroo or uber. If you collect, you can almost always get your food in around 30 minutes.”
“The only curry house I order from, my order is always correct and piping hot. Lovely food, I've never not enjoyed my meals. I also like that they give you loyalty points every time you order which you can use for money off future orders.”
“The speciality beef dishes are a must try! Always great tasting food, will definitely be ordering from here regularly! Very friendly staff who always go the extra mile and food is always delivered hot or ready to collect when agreed. Thank you!”
“So much to choose from! But not enough room to try every thing so will have to visit again! Great friendly staff everywhere is spotless!! great meal out with the family, disabled friendly venue to, meaning enough space to get around as much as needed especially if you have a big bulky chair or similar. Parking is the only down fall (it don't have any) we had to be dropped off. But still a great venue to have a meal”
“We ordered a Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Korma, Lamb Tikka Masala, Keema and Peshwari Naan, Bombay Aloo, Pilau Rice, Onion Bhaji and Taj Grill and it was all so so tasty! Really really impressed!”
“It's the only place I go for Indian takeaway. Yes there are the usual standards but go for something from the chefs menu and give your taste buds a treat. Tried many but this is the one I go back to.”
“Good Indian sub continent food truck, in a Car park in Canton burb, Cardiff. Interesting menu and good value. My chicken bhunna with rice "meal deal" was nicely spiced and nicely priced.”
