“For a budget hotel, this ibis strongly exceeds expectations. When I came, breakfast was £6 a head for all you can eat. Staff were kind and considerate. 5* for service but mainly due to the lack of expectations. I do not expect amazing service in a budget hotel but feel we still got more than we paid for. Double room is reasonably sized, excellent shower facilities and spacious enough if all you plan to do is sleep or surf the internet. Location is great, a five minute walk from the City Centre, and 7 minutes walk from where the coach gets in. Absolutely fantastic, and £38/night. Great weekend, thank you all.”

The atmosphere of the hotel was warm and comfortable, making my stay really enjoyable. A special mention goes to Drulval at reception – he was incredibly polite, professional, and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. His friendliness made me feel right at home. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would definitely recommend the Beacon Hotel Cardiff to anyone looking for a pleasant and hassle-free experience. “Really cannot rate this escape room highly enough! The kids did the ‘Steampunk’ room and the adults the ‘Peaky Blinders’. It was brilliant fun and really well managed to ensure we were given hints at the right time to make the game flow brilliantly. The attention to detail and props are all brilliant and all superbly run by the hosts. None of us had done escape rooms before, but we will definitely be back. “An Amazing clinic! I cannot recommend Aesthetics 64 highly enough and I wouldn’t trust anyone else. Their advice is always with my best interests at heart and saying no where it would not be suitable. Sophie and Lucy both do their upmost to ensure that I am over the moon with my treatments and they never fail. The clinic is gorgeous and the treatments are wonderful. I had concerns due to a previous treatment at another clinic, both Sophie and Lucy provided great advice and recommendations and were both were patient with the amount of time I deliberated on what to do. When I made the decision to proceed they took the procedure slowly and allowed me to return a few times to achieve the results I wanted rather than risk being unhappy with the results (lip filler). I cannot be happier and they have built up my confidence more than I could ever imagine! Thank you both for all you do, your time and patience, your insane level of knowledge and your commitment to doing the right thing and not just doing treatments that are not suitable! x”

“Room and decor throughout is very tastefully decorated. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Really good breakfast all you could want. The bed was really comfortable too. A bonus to have onside parking too. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND a 1 or 2 night stay here. It was lovely. Well worth a stay here. Oh and only a short walk to seafront too.”

“The Arcadia Coffee House is one of a kind. They serve hot buttered crumpets, which not many cafes serve. The decor is fab and original and there is a great vibe. I love their lattes, which are served with lots of whipped cream and marshmallows. Their lemon cake is to die for! Tangy, moist and delicious. Need I say more? The Arcadia is situated at the forefront of Newport Arcade, and once you have have finished your latte, there are a myriad of little shops for you to visit there - each with their their own quirky style. You are bound to find something you like. Visit The Arcadia Coffee House and the Arcade itself and you will not be disappointed.”
