“Had dinner here 15 October with our family, 6 of us. We ate early so there was not many customers hence the 4 an not 5 stars for atmosphere. Food was very good we all had something different and all of us enjoyed it. Service was excellent. Sophia who looked after us was brilliant a big shout out for her. She was friendly, efficient, obliging, and dealt with my wife and daughter's allergy issues confidently. Thank you Sophia for your very kind attention. James Bird”

“The chef is a genius, the food was perfection. The waiting staff are absolutely lovely, we were served by Raphaël and another gent (I’m sorry we didn’t get your name), both provided excellent service. The 6 course tasting menu we did was also amazing value for what we were given. The fish stew was my absolute favourite course, but the harissa carrot soup and chocolate mousse were close runners up. Thanks so much guys, you should all be proud of yourselves.”

“Large, characterful restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Stopped in for an early breakfast (avocado toast and scrambled eggs with toast) along with a latte and pot of green tea. Nice meal and good service.”

“We had an amazing time with a Celebratory lunch for guests in the Charlecote Suite. From the first meeting with Debbie to discuss our requirements to checking out of the hotel the following morning Staff at the Greswolde were so attentive and accommodating. About a month before our event, we discussed the layout of the room, use of projector and menu choices of our guests with Adam. A few of us were able to gain entry in the morning to complete some personal touches to the room. Rochelle and Kieran worked hard all through the event to ensure drinks and food were served to fit in around some speeches. All the meals were good quality and well presented. My Roast Beef Rump was beautifully cooked and very tender and I also want to pick pout the generously sized portions of flavoursome cheeses and biscuits. There was no pressure to leave the function room once we had finished eating and it was nice to be able to linger with guests. Our hotel bedroom was clean and well appointed so we had a good night’s sleep before heading home. In summary, Excellent service, very good food, very good value. Thank you all.”

“Went to Millsy's for dinner with a group of friends. It was a large booking and the reservation team was very helpful and flexible with changes to the booking. Our table was spacious and very comfortable for everyone. The menu has plenty of options. Tried the liver paté to start which was absolutely delicious. For main went for the pork belly and a side of mozzarella sticks. Everything was made fresh and delicious. The dessert was a bread and butter pudding which was perfect. The portions are quite large. Their cocktails are delicious too! Staff are very friendly and quick, food arrives promptly as well. That night there was live music so that made the whole ambiance very nice. Overall very good experience”

“Lovely stay at the Swan’s nest hotel in Stratford upon Avon. Made a booking for dinner at this lovely restaurant because it seemed very busy at Sunday lunch- they are offering a good deal at the restaurant (30% off) at the moment. However, our evening there was quiet and relaxed. Service was friendly and efficient. We had the chorizo which was well cooked and tasty. The prawns were buttery and delicious. My chicken Normandy was good albeit I am pretty sure that it was cabbage and peaches rather than cavolo nero and apple! (no complaints!!). Husband’s salmon Provençale was nice and flaky with a delicious sauce. Camden pale ale to wash it down. We also had a full English breakfast the next morning which could have been better: husband’s danish didn’t seem fresh although my croissant was great. Sausages and baked beans were ho hum. My poached eggs , husband’s scrambled eggs (he likes it rather dry) and the bacon were good. We did go to the Bear pub in the afternoon- nice barman and good place to chill.”

“5 Stars – Outstanding Service and Delicious Food! We had a fantastic evening at Bar + Block in Leamington Spa, made even better by our lovely waitress, Gemma. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive throughout our meal. Nothing was too much trouble, and she made sure we were looked after with a smile the whole time. The food was absolutely amazing – cooked to perfection and full of flavour. We’ll definitely be coming back, and hope Gemma is there to serve us again. Highly recommend!”

“Food quality has deteriorated significantly since our last visit. Head waiter was unprofessional shouting at our waitress in front of guests. I know it's only Marco Pierre White's name over the door because if he was there the Head Waiter would either lose his job or get a very public drubbing. Scotch Egg is still worthwhile but everything else has taken a turn for the worse. Dauphinoise potatoes are very good though even if smothered too much in cheese”

“On Saturday night I had my 60th birthday party at Lil Greens, I hired the Mezzanine for the evening. I was very impressed, from initial booking to the party night the service was great. Staff on the night were brilliant and did the very best to accommodate my guests. Special shout out to Saif and Joe on the bar upstairs, and to Katie for making booking process easy. We all had a fab night.....thanks to all at Lil Greens.”

“My Wife and I happened to find this venue when moored on the canal. We popped into Mancetter to check out the church and see if we could find lunch somewhere. It was a perfect find. Unusual but definitely worth the visit. I had sausages mash and peas while Sallie had a jacket potato beans coleslaw and salad. Both very plentiful plates. Neither of us could eat all our food but only because we aren’t used to such big meals. Highly recommend the venue for breakfast or lunch. Good value for money. Good food and excellent. Service.”
