“I had an exceptional experience at this farm house in Coventry. It completely changed my expectations from the moment I walked in. The lobby, the rooftop garden, and the outdoor courtyard are all designed to perfection — stylish, spotless, and truly impressive. The atmosphere is incredibly beautiful and refreshing; I honestly haven’t seen anything like it anywhere else in the UK. The food quality was excellent, full of flavour and beautifully presented. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and genuinely warm, which made the experience even better. A truly outstanding place that delivers far beyond what you expect. Highly recommended.”

The beef was out of this world. so tender... but make sure you ask for medium or medium rare as some people like well done. Great experience. great, reasonable price. Highly recommend this place.”

“Went for Mother’s Day and had a nice lunch. Shame the price inflates so much just because of this day, same food different day. Pie was good, pork belly not crispy and a bit of a let down. Desserts were good, chocolate & salted caramel tart was nice. Service was slow, had to ask for drinks and the bill multiple times. Not really an excuse being Mother’s Day, it’s expected to be busy. Would try again though.”

“We had our wedding reception at the Old Coffee Tavern a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. It's a beautiful venue and super relaxed. The wedding day ran very smoothly, with staff coming in bright and early to set-up the decorations. There was enough seating for the 80 guests which was then moved to the side to make way for the DJ and dancefloor. The buffet was reasonably priced and delicious, particularly the lamb curry, southern fried chicken and the jasmine rice. Several guests have contacted us to say how much they enjoyed the food. The room was lovely with a beautiful view of the church, high ceiling and comfy bed. It was great to walk a minute up the road to the weekly market in the morning. A really good location. Great cooked breakfast with veggie and vegan options. Pheebs had everything under control which made us feel completely at ease over the full wedding weekend. We'll definitely be coming back for our anniversary!”

“We were very hungry visitors to the town. Never visited before, and was on the look out for a full English, we were actually heading to find somewhere else but this caught my eye. Never heard of it before but have since learnt that they have many around the country. Welcome and service was exceptional. We had a person with an allergy with us and the staff were very thorough and made us all feel at ease. Allergy menu available on line and easy to see. Food arrived and it didn't disappoint at all. Great portion with a bit of everything on it and it was amazing. Thank you to Liliana for being an enthusiastic, helpful, chatty ray of sunshine and making it all the more special. The waiting staff are absolutely lovely, we were served by Raphaël and another gent (I’m sorry we didn’t get your name), both provided excellent service. The 6 course tasting menu we did was also amazing value for what we were given. The fish stew was my absolute favourite course, but the harissa carrot soup and chocolate mousse were close runners up. Thanks so much guys, you should all be proud of yourselves.”

“Birthday Lunch at the private dining room. The service was very good. They made sure we always have drinks and that we are happy with our dishes. The food was delicious we all had Sunday roasts. The planning was also very smooth , they were responsive and communicated well.”

“Was welcomed into the Saxon Mill Warwick front of house to have dinner so really glad we found it. The atmosphere was cosy and well designed decor. We received a good service from the team. The food was cooked to a high standard and the lamb was well done as requested. The restaurant was clean and being this was our first time in Coventry for a Special event was grateful that the Saxon Mill team welcomed us in to dine without a booking with the same food choices as the restaurant area. I recommend the Saxon Mill as a lovely place to done with family and friends lots of available free parking. Thank you Saxon Mill team”

“My 2 sons and I did the bottomless brunch. The food was delicious - some of the best currys we've ever tasted, and the naan breads weren't the usual stodgy mass, but slightly crispy and full of flavour. The bottomless drinks were premium - including draught Guinness, Cobra and Alpacalypse. We enjoyed plenty of these as well as limitless prosecco, and my eldest also had a glass of red wine. The owner is a delightfully friendly lady, who makes a point of visiting each table to have a chat with all of her patrons. It's my third visit - first bottomless brunch - and we'll certainly be back.”

“A credit to the village. I live in the village and used to use the Granville a lot years ago. But it changed hands a lot and went down hill badly. Last year Jennie and her team took the pub on and have made it into the village hub. The work and efforts they have put in to make it into the village pub we all needed and love is fantastic. We now visit weekly with the kids and the food is fantastic and atmosphere is amazing. They accommodate for all ages, friends and families. We can now even go down on a Saturday night when we don’t have the kids and there’s always music of all types and we can have a dance and a great time. It’s a gem in the village to have for everyone and brings the whole community together.”

A decent pint, nice traditional but well kept decor with indoor and outdoor background music. The food is really good and incredibly cheap & great value. The icing on the cake is the staff and service. Young well mannered and helpful people who are a credit to the establishment. Well done, We’l definitely be back.”

Considering it was Sunday and fairly busy we didn't have to wait very long for our food. 3 clean plates. Would recommend. We go on a regular basis and it's always good.”

From the moment we arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive throughout our meal. Nothing was too much trouble, and she made sure we were looked after with a smile the whole time.
