“From day one this hotel was just perfect! The location is spot on – right next to the Derbion with fantastic transport links, making it really convenient. The cleanliness throughout the hotel is impeccable, everything feels fresh and well looked after. The staff here are absolutely brilliant – friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The restaurant is top notch nosh, with great food and service to match. A special shout out has to go to both Pat and George for their incredible customer service. They were lovely, chatty, friendly, and nothing was ever too much to ask. They’re a true credit to the team and made my stay extra enjoyable. Can’t recommend this Premier Inn highly enough – I’ll definitely be back!”

“Was excited to try The Windmill as it’s under new management. Went for Sunday lunch with my young family. The service and ambience was lovely. The food was superb. Absolutely delicious and great value for money. Huge portions. My Auntie took home a doggie bag and it lasted two more meals. My new favourite Sunday lunch in Derby. The only thing I really missed was crispy fried prawns, which would have made it perfect, hence one star less. Otherwise, highly recommended!”

The Salt and Pepper Chicken has the perfect balance of seasoning, and the Chinese Chicken Curry is another must-try, with its rich and flavorful sauce. “Stayed here for my time in Etwall and you couldn’t pick a better spot. The location is fantastic and the room itself was nicely decorated and well maintained. This is all second to the first rate service and the friendliest of staff, who were extremely helpful during my visit. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in lovely Etwall.”

“Popped in to buy some flowers, and all they had were reduced ones. The lady behind the counter spoke into her head set, and another lady appeared with fresh, beautiful flowers. They didn't have to queue for a long, and they had some great deals on, too. Well done, guys, lovely shop and great staff.”

“Both grandchildren had physically damaged laptops which needed professional attention. I wanted somewhere that could do a face to face repairn and these came up as nearby on a google map search. They were great from the word go and sorted and costed the issues in a day. Both machines were returned 2 days later in fantastic condition. One had to be returned for a minor issue which I did not regard as being their error which took minutes to fix. The guys were great in explaining everything and I thought the cost was very reasonable given that spare parts were required to be fitted. They will be the first call in the event of future problems. I thoroughly recommend them id if are looking for help. Very satisfied.”

Emma was very attentive and very friendly made us feel very welcomed and really appreciate all the help she provided. There was a lot of us and she went out her way to make our stay wonderful! I think the lady who cleaned our rooms was Nina and she was so friendly too the rooms were clean couldn't fault anything. Thank you to you both. Look forward staying again in the future”

“Absolutely amazing service , we needed a hotel for the night last minute due to a awful expereince at our accomodation in Nottingham. We turned up late to reception and the guy went out of his way to get us a room suitable for 3 adults. Nothing was too much trouble and we got a fairly good night's sleep. Staff were amazing , so thank you for coming to our rescue after a awful experience elsewhere”
