βOrdered Salt/Chilli Chips & Duck with Shoots/Chestnuts for collection- was not disappointed. The duck was firm and tasty, paired vegetables and a delicate sauce- the combination tasted real and had a silken texture to it all. As I collected, it was all still piping hot throughout and fresh. I've had chips on a takeout many times, and I have to admit that these were the best Salt/Chilli chips I've ever had (though they often go under the name of Salt/Pepper but they're the same thing.) Collecting has its bonuses- they were freshly made fries with a nice crispy snap to them- none of that soggy stuff you often get on a takeout. All in all, damned delicious and I'll definitely come back in the future next time I order a takeaway. (FYI I really do recommend the duck with shoots/chestnuts- it's not sweet, it's very much savoury, and to me at least it felt as though it didn't have many additives that you might often find in a takeout- no absurd sugaring, not overly seasoned, just genuinely made homely food.)β
