βMy wife and I treated our adult children and their partners to a European trip with our first stop being Edinburgh, where we stayed at the Edinburgh Address / Adore Scotland location. The apartment was exactly as described and our whole family loved our stay! I highly recommend this location!!β
βOrganise 3rd year student exchanges to over 100 universities across the worldβ
βIt was a great location, within 10 minute walk of either attractions or the bus but set back so not particularly noisy. It was clean, beds were comfy, plenty of hot water, shower was powerful. Kitchenette was brilliant as we could self cater, we didn't realise there was a washer/dryer in there too (also wash powder there) . We could have done with a few extra pieces of kitchen equipment and softer pillows but they are minor gripes. We will definitely be staying again.β
βA very calm and clean place with friendly staff. The room was bright and tidy, equipped with a hairdryer, iron, and a kettle with coffee and tea. Highly recommended.β
βStayed in a private room which honestly was great. Reception very helpful when I arrived very early. The room was good and bed was comfy. Bathroom was good. Yes lots of noise from the alleyway outside but just wear ear plugs. Couldn't get much better for a location. And the price couldn't get much better at this time of year. Thanks!β
βThank you for all this great service. We went only one night and it was enough to see how kind and welcoming are the employees. Great room and great breakfast ! It was a nice way to begin our journey in Edimburghβ
βGreat budget hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely clean room, likewise the bed and shower room. Great bottomless breakfast. Glad we stayed. Would definitely stay again. Staff help give the whole weekend a great vibe. The city is bustling, with exceptional shopping, fantastic pubs and restaurants. Staying here right in the centre of it all, is a must.β
βGreat hospitality. They allowed us before the checkin time as the rooms werent occupied. At the day of check out, they were very kind enough to store our luggages with them as we headed to sight seeing and we had evening train. The rooms were clean and the products give were neat and clean. Keep up the great job..β
βBooked a cab I'm advance over the phone and staff were really useful. Got a text when the cab was dispatched and a call when they arrived (on time). No additional charge for going to a far out location picking us up and driving back. Had the option for cash or card payments.β
βMy wife and I stayed at the end of June. Both Pride and the Royal Highland Show were ongoing at the time, making Edinburgh super busy, so staying here was a fantastic choice. As the hotel is on Princess Street, we were in the perfect spot for pretty much anything we wanted to do. We were within walking distance of everything and had a fantastic view of Edinburgh Castle from our room. All of the staff were very polite, friendly, and welcoming. This was consistent from the moment we checked in, throughout every breakfast, until the moment we checked out. The newly renovated rooms are excellent. The bed was comfortable, the TV was modern and easy to use, and the bathroom/shower was really clean. We're definitely going to be staying again, and can't recommend it enough. It was our first time in Edinburgh, and having such a great, well-located, and friendly place to come back to made the trip what it was. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff who made us feel at home during our stay!β
βPerfect low budget hostel! We had a private family room. Rooms are clean, staff is really friendly, the bar downstairs is always alive and a great place to have a drink and meet people. Location is also perfect, everything is in walking distance! We didnβt book the breakfast but from what I saw there was plenty of choice.β
βGreat location for a great price. Very conveniently close to a lot of monuments - can walk to a lot of shops, cafes, restaurants and sights within 20min. Yes, the sound proofing could be a bit better, but I've noticed that it's a common flaw in most Scottish buildings. We were a party of 4 and the apartment we stayed at was very accommodating. Didn't interact with any staff but it was easy to move around and check in/out on your own. Yes, the elevator can only hold two people w/ two bags, but what do you expect with smaller/older apartments. The macerator feature was interesting but we understand the usage, though yes, the sound can be surprising (especially for people new to it). Overall, a solid stay - would stay at again!β
βLovely place. Food was very good and service was nice. I would totally recommend when visiting NMS, os even if you are around the area as the restaurant is just by the main entrance.β
βWe came on the road to register early, but the hostess was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Although it was only 11 hours local time, we decided to sit in the bar and order a nice malt. She must have liked us because it was her treatment. The rooms were clean and the sheets and towels were always fresh.β
βStaff were very friendly. Bag storage was very reasonable price compared to other options. Rooms are small yes, but went for the window view and had a great view of the castle.β
βHighlight of our Edinburgh trip! Tour guide Coco was engaging and knowledgeable, sampled lots of different chocolates and learnt about the history and the making process. Was really fun and also got to make our own chocolate bars to take home! Would recommend for anyone visiting Edinburgh.β
βWe had the most incredible experience with King Tours Scotland! Paul, the owner, toured me and 7 friends all over Scotland, and he truly made the trip unforgettable. He was always prompt, so much fun, and fit right in with our group as if he were one of us. Paulβs knowledge of Scotlandβs history is amazing, and he brings every stop to life. Some of the highlights were a walking tour of St. Andrews, exploring Glamis Castle, and discovering hidden treasures along the coast. On top of that, he always seemed to know the best pubs for a quick snack or a perfect pint β such a bonus! If youβre considering a tour in Scotland, look no further. Paul combines professionalism with warmth and friendliness, and youβll end up with memories to last a lifetime. Highly recommend!β
βVery emotional memorial for Polish people in Edinburgh , reminding them beautiful friendship between soldiers and wild bear during the II world war.β
βRooms are nice, exquisite and very comfortable. I would say this is affordable luxury. All of the staff are very pleasant and polite. They always want to help, no matter what. Not forgetting that breakfast is free and really nice. You can move around the ship for some sight seeing and we also got two free tickets to see the Britannia Yatch (Tickets can be transferred or used at anytime). The location is quiet. It was indeed a floating experienceβ
βFood is top class , best in Edinburgh. . you get served quickly , with a smile . staff are very friendly hugely recommended .β
βOur stay at Ceilidh-Donia was wonderful! The staff were very kind and helpful, always ready to give advice and with a smile. Breakfast was delicious and varied, and the room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. The area is quiet and pleasant, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. There is a very good bus connection to the Royal Mile (about 15 minutes), and if you prefer walking, itβs around 30β40 minutes on foot. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a stay in Edinburgh!β
βExcellent breakfast place! Cute and cozy decor. We tried filled croissants, porridge and this lovely pistachio cardamom cake. And also, probably the best coffee we had in the whole of Edinburgh!β
βFabulous apartment in the most perfect location - easy walking distance to everywhere you want to go in Edinburgh. Great restaurants and shops on the doorstep - honestly, you couldn't ask for better. The apartment is spacious, spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a great stay.β
